My partner had the mapo tofu set meal, but found the rice too soft and left some. I ended up eating the leftover Ankake yakisoba. It looked delicious, but if I wanted cold ramen, I could have my wife make it at home. At our house, we top our ramen with cucumber, jellyfish, shredded egg, ham, diced tomato, and fried egg. So, I decided to order the miso ramen, which is a classic dish at Moryu. Even though it's hot, I ordered the fried rice set with miso ramen. The visual appeal of the miso ramen is different because it has wakame as a topping, which can be a hit or miss for some people. After eating, my wife said, "It tastes like the miso ramen from the old days (laughs)." I replied, "The taste hasn't changed and it's delicious!" The miso ramen here is perfect. The chef's cooking skills are impressive. The fried rice is also delicious with a good seasoning. It's a fluffy fried rice. As for dinner during the Escon Field trip, what should I have? I recommend to all tourists! If you eat at the main store, is this Sapporo ramen? However, this is the Sapporo ramen from the Showa era! That's the end of my review! (laughs)

Before the pandemic, it was common to end a night out by going to Motsu Ryu. However, in the past 2-3 years, I rarely go out for drinks. I happened to be at AEON Mall Naebo and wanted to do some shopping at KALDI, so I decided to try Motsu Ryu in the food court. I ordered the Ankake Yakisoba, which as always, was delicious. I realized that this may have been the first time I've eaten here sober, haha.

Today's lunch was the Jumbo Ankake Yakisoba from Manryu. I ordered it at the counter from the older sister. They said they no longer offer stamp cards as mine was full, but I can now use a mobile app to collect stamps. I registered as a member by scanning the QR code on the menu, so I'll use that next time. The buzzer rang and I went to pick up my dish. Oh no, the sauce was overflowing! I wish they were a bit more careful. I added some chili oil a few times. Hmm, was there more noodles than veggies this time? It's been a while since I last came, things change, I guess. "Mantatsu" I'm alone in Sapporo I came to AEON not for activities, but for my grandchild's toy. One of my grandchildren, a child who absolutely doesn't like me, is here. No matter what I do, they won't warm up to me. They don't cry loudly anymore, but if there's no one else around, it's definitely crying for sure. I've given up, but thought of trying to lure them with something. Since they love Anpanman, I used it as bait. In conclusion, it was a futile effort. I should have just bought something for the child who likes me. I swore firmly in my heart that I will never try to lure with things again. It doesn't say which store in the food court I went to, but here's the activity. It's takeout. I ordered fried rice, but got dumplings instead. 5 pieces for a coin. It was ready in 5 minutes. And my grandchild said, "Let's eat ramen here." So, I shouldn't have ordered dumplings. It's the picky grandchild after all, they listen to me. It's ramen from the food court, 730 yen. The noodles are thick and a bit soft. The bean sprouts are okay. The seaweed is unnecessary. The green onions are fine, as there are some in the family who don't like them. The chashu is not my favorite. The soup has a strong soy sauce flavor, quite salty, but the old-fashioned taste is a classic and surprisingly delicious. It's a bit oily and tasty. Surprisingly delicious ramen. The dumplings, on the other hand, have a strange scent that I don't like. They are heavy on garlic, with a strong meat flavor, maybe it's the sauce. Too heavy on the sauce? The cabbage is tasty, but the acidity is quite strong, which I don't like at all. Overall, the dumplings were not to my liking.

Two years ago, I bought a New Year's lucky bag meal voucher but couldn't come to this Aeon for a long time, so I ended up not using a lot of it (probably around 3000 yen) and just let it go. It became a bit of a trauma for me, so I avoided coming here for a while. But on this day, I suddenly felt like having ankake yakisoba, so I decided to use it after a long time. Jumbo Ankake Yakisoba (1050 yen) is the dish I ordered. The regular size of ankake yakisoba is made with 1 serving of noodles (or maybe 1.5 servings), and the jumbo size probably has 2 servings of noodles. The regular size costs 900 yen, so the jumbo size at 1050 yen is quite a good deal. I added vinegar and Japanese mustard to it. The main ingredient of ankake yakisoba, pork, was only in small pieces, which was a bit disappointing. There was a small shrimp in it. I took half of it home for dinner and ate the other half on the spot. The soup had seaweed and green onions in it. It would have been even tastier with some pepper added, but I forgot to bring it to my seat, so I had it as it was this time. The taste was okay. There is a Hanamaru Udon that opened in place of Marugame Seimen on the 1st floor, which I want to try next time. The spots where Tiger Curry and Sukiya used to be are still vacant, so I hope new restaurants will open there soon.

It rang quickly, maybe because it was a little past lunchtime on a weekday. The 900 yen Ankake Yakisoba was the expected brown color with a few pieces of pork, shrimp, mushrooms, and vegetables. The content felt a bit lacking. The sauce was sweet and there was a lot of it. I got a bit bored towards the end, so I adjusted with vinegar. The noodles were well cooked. "Mantatsu Aeon Naeho Store" I always stop by here for shopping and decided to try their "Ankake Yakisoba" this time. The prices for the dish are: ・"Regular @ 900 yen" ・"Jumbo @ 1,050 yen" ・"Mini @ 500 yen" The price difference between Regular and Jumbo is 150 yen, so I opted for the Jumbo size. The "Ankake Yakisoba (Jumbo) @ 1,050 yen" came in a huge plate with a generous amount of vegetables and savory sauce. The sauce had a rich soy sauce flavor, and the cabbage was crunchy while the wood ear mushrooms were chewy. It also had pork, shrimp, and squid in it. The noodles were crispy on one side and topped with plenty of vinegar. The addition of mustard added a nice kick to the dish. It also came with a side of soup, which was a nice touch. I also tried the "Spicy Miso Ramen @ 900 yen," which was a traditional spicy ramen. The soup was light and the noodles were soft, but overall, the flavor lacked depth. I think the Ankake dishes are better here than the ramen. Next time, I'll try their fried rice. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

While shopping at Ion, I had lunch at the food court. It's been a while since I had the ramen and fried rice from "Manryu". The taste is nostalgic! I used to have it delivered to a snack bar in Susukino and share the jumbo fried rice with everyone. It's not an unusual or distinctive taste, but the flavor of a long-standing restaurant is always delicious no matter how many years pass.

Visited at 4:00 PM on November 4, 2022. Today, I was busy again and hadn't eaten anything since last night, so I started with the appetizer before dinner. Maruryu is a Chinese restaurant with several branches mainly in Sapporo, but the food court store operates with a limited menu. I've been a big fan of this place for almost 30 years. The menu is limited, but the famous "Jumbo" dish is still available at every store. Even though it's about twice the normal portion, the price difference is only a few hundred yen, which is very convenient. If I were to complete my meal here, I would have ordered two servings of the Jumbo menu, but I have another main restaurant to go to later, so I decided to just have my favorite "Jumbo Fried Rice ¥950." It's not crowded at this time, so I could relax. However, it took less than 10 minutes for the dish to be ready, and about 5 minutes to finish it. In the end, it was over in about 15 minutes. As always, the simple but delicious fried rice. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the Butter Corn Ramen (Miso) for 900 yen plus tax and a boiled egg for 120 yen plus tax~! The visual presentation had lots of corn, wakame, chashu, butter, chopped green onions, bean sprouts, and a boiled egg~! It looked like Sapporo ramen~! After eating, I felt that the soup was lukewarm~! The cold corn, cold butter, and cold wakame made it feel strange~! The noodles from Nishiyama Seimen were too long and stretchy~! The boiled egg was too salty~! The soup was traditional and tasty, but this time it was a miss~! However, there will be a next time~! Thank you for the meal~! "Mantatsu Ion Naebo Store" It's been a while since I visited Mantatsu. On weekends, it's bustling with families. The menu is quite extensive (*^^*), and the jumbo menu is popular. Especially, the "Ultra Jumbo Ramen @1,500 yen" is huge - served in a big bowl with soup enough for 4 people and noodles for 3 people! I saw a family eating it, and it was quite a large portion... The "Stir-Fried Rice Set (Miso Ramen) @900 yen" was surprisingly light. It has a nostalgic taste of Showa era miso ramen. The noodles were firm, and the stir-fried bean sprouts were good. I'm usually not a fan of seaweed, but strangely, it goes well with Mantatsu's ramen. The stir-fried rice was simple with just egg, green onions, and chashu, but it was delicious with a nice dry texture. Both dishes were in mini sizes but had a decent amount, so I was satisfied! By the way... the "Ankake Yakisoba" we ordered together had a generous portion even in a regular size! It was packed with ingredients like Chinese cabbage, carrots, pork belly, shrimp, and wood ear mushrooms. The noodles were well-cooked and coated in a rich sauce, making it simply delicious. I love the Ankake Yakisoba, so I decided to take half of it home and ate the other half at the restaurant. The Jumbo size probably has noodles equivalent to two regular servings, making it quite a good deal considering it's less than half the price of a regular size. I also bought the lucky bags for the end of 2021 in advance, which were already on sale before New Year's. It cost 3000 yen for 10 vouchers of 400 yen each and 3 free soft drink vouchers. It's a good deal again! The 2020 lucky bags didn't come with free drink vouchers, which was disappointing, but this time the 2021 lucky bags came with 3, which made me happy. I enjoyed the Jumbo Cha-han I took home in two separate meals, and it was surprisingly delicious, so I ordered it again for takeout after the New Year. This was my first time ordering the sauce yakisoba here, and personally, I wish there were more ingredients. The ingredients themselves are a bit small and give a lonely impression. It would be nice if onions, carrots, etc. were included. Even just increasing the amount of original ingredients like cabbage and pork would be fine. The price difference between the sauce yakisoba and an-kake yakisoba Jumbo size is not that big, but the an-kake yakisoba has a lot of ingredients, while the sauce yakisoba has fewer ingredients, so the cost performance seems a bit poor. I took half of the sauce yakisoba home on my own. For non-soup menu items, when dining in, a simple soup with green onions is included, which is quite delicious and a favorite of mine. The drink is a self-serve style where you are given an empty paper cup to pour your own drink, but it is not a drink bar, so refills are not allowed. I will definitely come back again. My grandfather passed away at 89! Is it because of the coronavirus? They checked my temperature at the entrance - 36.4°C. The hospital procedures are complicated! I feel tired from going back and forth between the hospital and the ward office. Lunch will be at Aeon Nayamio. The entrance and exit are different now due to coronavirus measures. The food court on the second floor is empty, so I went to "Manryu" and ordered a dumpling set meal with soy sauce for 900 yen including tax. The dumplings were juicy and the skin was chewy. The soy sauce ramen had lots of toppings like chopped green onions, bamboo shoots, seaweed, bean sprouts, and a large slice of pork. The pork was delicious! The noodles were firm and had a good texture. It was a satisfying meal! I will come back to support them again after they had to close temporarily last month.

On my day off on March 4, 2020, I went shopping at Aeon Myoho store in the morning. After finishing shopping in the early afternoon, I decided to have lunch at the food court. I was in the mood for ramen, so I chose Moryu. When I was younger, I used to eat at Moryu in Susukino before going out for drinks. I was given a wireless pager and waited at my table. When the pager went off, I went to pick up my ramen. The miso chashu ramen had a light pork shoulder loin chashu, and I thought a slightly stronger flavor would be better. The other toppings included seaweed, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and sliced green onions. The miso soup was also on the lighter side, with a flat tone without much excitement. As for the noodles... I wasn't sure about them. They were not the typical Sapporo ramen noodles. They lacked the firmness and elasticity, and were more on the softer side. To put it simply, they were like the cheap, low-quality noodles you can find at a supermarket. I understand that there are limitations in preparing food court ramen, but the main component, the noodles, should be at a certain level. Despite that, I think it was one of the better options in the food court. Next time, I would like to try the ramen and fried rice!
