I rode my bike to the airport to take pictures of airplanes, but my legs are shaking now. My butt hurts too. Today is not as fun as I thought. If I had come from the side where the cows are, I could have taken pictures of sunflowers and airplanes. Today, I bought some unusual bread on sale. It's a French bread with cheese and bacon inside. When you heat it up, it's crispy. This is perfect for snacking.

Photo update only. Today is "Mackerel Day" but I also remembered it was "Sour Cream Day." I forgot that pachinko is 380 yen... So, I bought pork pie car from the Okinawa Fair for 80 yen and made pie car ramen.

There was bread on the table, so it must be French, right? They said it was Italian today, but next to it was this super tacky bean bread... I like it, but it doesn't really fit the atmosphere. "The amount of beans in this, it's amazing, right?!" It really is amazing. They said it's "farine," and farine is delicious too. But seriously, those beans are something else. It's called "garlic France," and it's so delicious, I can't stop eating it. Everything that was lined up disappeared in no time. But there was still more... I feel relieved. Still, it was gone in a flash. They brought a dip, anchovy dip. I'm done for. The already delicious garlic France with anchovy dip, I can't stop... I might turn into a cow. When I cut the bean bread, there were only beans on the surface, but that's enough. The beans are well-preserved, with a pleasant texture. The bread itself is not dry, but moist and chewy, very delicious. Farine really does make delicious bread. It's white wine today, but it disappeared quickly.

I had no intention of writing a review, so there are no pictures of the original bread. It turned out to be surprisingly delicious, so I decided to write a review after all. In our house, we have a somewhat regular "Italian day", which is declared by my wife. It goes something like, "Tomorrow we'll have Italian food." This declaration always makes me happy. Usually, pasta is a must on Italian day, so I always look forward to what kind of pasta dish we'll have. This time, the declaration was followed by, "We're having bruschetta." I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping for pasta. But oh well, I thought. I didn't take a picture of the bruschetta because I wasn't in the mood. Before the bruschetta arrived, my wife also mentioned that we'd be having white wine. The bruschetta looked beautiful, but I didn't let the appearance fool me. It was delicious. The basil was from our garden, the olive oil was from Shodoshima, the cream cheese was store-bought, and the olives were also from Shodoshima. They were a bit pricey compared to Italian olives, but they were worth it. The tomatoes we used were still green, unfortunately. Oh, I forgot about the baguette. It was soft and not crispy, but it was still tasty. I ended up taking a picture of it the next day.

This is Abashiri. It's a "City" supermarket, not found in Kitami. I wonder if there are others in Bihoro and Engaru in Okhotsk? This supermarket is new to me. The purpose is the bakery inside. "Farine City Abashiri Store." As soon as you enter the store, they sell taiyaki. Well, I'll pass on that. The bakery I'm aiming for is near the entrance. There are two staff members who seem to be lacking in customer service skills. Well, they have a good selection and it's easy to choose. The prices are reasonable too. (^_^ゞ I bought a couple for myself... - Bacon Epi. The dough is chewy, and the bacon is substantial and flavorful. - Croissant. It's quite large. The surface is crispy, and the inside is moist. Both are delicious without any complaints. (^_^)v Anyway, it's kind of interesting to visit a new supermarket for the first time. Next time, I want to take a look at the food section. My wife was happy that they accept Green Stamp cards. In the end, on the way out, I ended up buying taiyaki too! ^O^ The guy selling taiyaki seemed a bit shady!

"Farine City Abashiri Store" On Sundays in the countryside, everything seems dead with only closed shops. I understand that it's tough for the shopping district, but not opening on Sundays because there are no customers doesn't help with revitalization. It's already a shuttered street, and on Sundays, it's like a ghost town. So, the only option is to go to the lively Komaba district on Sundays. I bought some bread at the bakery inside the city. My wife likes this supermarket, so when she says, "Take me to the supermarket," I know she means this one. They didn't have baguettes, but they had "bean bread," which I bought along with a different kind called "mixed bean bread." The service was not very friendly, but at least the "thank you" was nice. The texture of the "bean bread" was moist and lovely, but the taste was just okay, with the beans being a bit hard. The "garlic French bread" was difficult to tear apart and had a sticky texture. It was tasty, possibly due to the garlic oil. It was hard to chew and had a chewy texture. The "mixed bean bread" had different types of beans with a crunchy texture. Overall, the bread was a bit subtle, but the garlic French bread was said to go well with red wine, which my wife enjoyed."

The magazine "HO" featured Abashiri, Kitami, and Bihoro. In Abashiri, the first Western-style restaurant "Daimaru Dining" was a dream back in the day...lol. Also, in Kitami, a new restaurant opened after "Kourinbou". Chinese cuisine? (Just passing by...) Asparagus bacon pizza. It's been a while, so I'm feeling a bit lazy. ===========
