I went to Okamoto Butcher for the first time! I didn't know there was a butcher shop nearby, so searching online is important. Today, I'm going camping and getting some meat. The shop is located along the national highway, easy to miss because the sign is small. Inside, it looks more like a processing plant. They were out of Sagari, but I bought 300g of beef tongue and 500g of lamb. The tongue was a bit expensive at 702 yen per 100g, but the lamb was cheaper at 216 yen per 100g. The beef tongue was delicious with plenty of fat. The lamb meat was cut in large pieces. It had a unique smell of Genghis Khan (grilled lamb dish), but everyone enjoyed it. We had a great time grilling the meat at the campsite. The campsite was spacious, so we could maintain a safe distance from others. It was a satisfying meal.
