This is a relatively new bakery that opened in 2022, located near Tsunbetsu Town Hall. The interior is small but has a stylish and cute atmosphere, with high-quality chocolates like Cacao Cat on display. This time, I bought two types of country bread and Tsunbetsu Shokupan. They are all delicious! The Shokupan is particularly good with a fluffy texture. The country bread also has a nice wheat aroma, and the one with chocolate and cranberries was just sweet enough and delicious!

The bakery "Lupa" has been renovated. I took out a large loan and changed the furniture. At my age, I can't really afford to take out a loan. It's tough to make decisions all at once, so I've been going shopping a few times. It turns out it's in Kitami... In the end, when I went with my wife, she had to make some decisions, so she made them. Today, my wife is at work, so I'm going alone to buy things that I can decide on my own. I was planning to go somewhere this week, but the renovation is progressing faster than expected, so I need to clean up and put in furniture, otherwise it won't look good. I gave up on my food blog activities for this week. Three weeks in a row without food blog activities? Maybe it's my first year on food blog... But, I was planning to go out somewhere today. My wife is working late, so she said, "You don't have to make anything." So, I thought I'd take a little detour and check out a bakery in Tsukibetsu. I looked it up and it seemed to be open, so I stopped by. There aren't many types of bread. Actually, I've been here once before. I'm not sure if it was early or closed that time, but it wasn't open. The clean interior of the shop has a few types of bread in the case and a small case of baked goods. There's nothing really enticing. I was hoping for some hard bread, but couldn't find any. I ended up getting a loaf of bread. After ordering, I found baguettes on top of the case, but I didn't need two, so I just stuck with the loaf of bread. Since I can't use the kitchen due to the renovation at home, they cooked with camping equipment. It turned into a sandwich. The sandwich was delicious. As for the bread, I left some. There's no appeal to it. I'm not joking, there's no appeal. Can you just leave it at that? Maybe it just doesn't suit my taste?

They accept electronic money such as ID. The bread selection was surprisingly simple, with mostly sweet bread and sandwich options. I apologize for the mediocre appearance of the photos due to carrying them around, but the taste was average to below average. I won't be going back. They also had miscellaneous items like chocolate and postcards.

It seems that a new bakery has opened in Tsukibetsu. I called to confirm as they are not open during Golden Week. They kindly advised me to make a reservation to secure my order. So, I reserved Tsukibetsu Shokupan, Bacon Epi, Garlic French, Fruit French, Matcha Bread, and Cheese Bread. The shop is located right behind Sansankan, which is convenient as there are many shops in this area of Tsukibetsu. When I visited, there was no one there, but it quickly became popular with a line forming. I must have had good timing. I tried some of the bread at home. The Bacon Epi and Garlic French are delicious when toasted. The garlic flavor is strong and tasty. The Tsukibetsu Shokupan is very popular, and it is really tasty. It is incredibly fluffy and not overly sweet like other high-end bread. I could easily eat it endlessly. I am looking forward to trying the other bread. I think a bakery like this would do well in Mombetsu too. Someone, please open one there!

One day, I went on a drive to Tsukubetsu Town, about a 40-minute drive from Kitami. The purpose of this day was to buy bread at a new bakery in Tsukubetsu Town called "Bakery Rupa." Visiting a new store is always exciting, right? The bakery had a stylish display of bread, with about 20-30 different types ranging from hard bread to normal dough, sweet bread to savory bread. The classic red bean paste bun and cream bun looked delicious. The cream bun was incredibly soft, with custard cream filling the fluffy bread. The cream was rich and homemade, so tasty that you could eat a bowl of just the cream itself! The "Satsuma bread" was a favorite of mine, with diced sweet potatoes rolled into sesame-infused dough. The sweetness of the sweet potatoes and the aroma of sesame were irresistible. The "Fluffy Cheese" bread was as fluffy as its name suggests, with cheese rolled into milk bread dough. The cheese was generously mixed in. The "Sakura Red Bean Bun" was a seasonal limited edition bread, decorated with cherry blossom flowers, giving it a cute and spring-like appearance. The pink cherry blossom-scented red bean paste inside was delightful. The "Fruit Campagne" bread was thinly sliced, lightly toasted, and filled with plenty of dried fruits. It had a refreshing acidity and was easy to eat despite having a hard texture. The "Chocolate Cranberry" bread was also addictive, with the sweetness of chocolate and the sweet-sour taste of berries creating a juicy sensation. All the filled bread had lots of ingredients and were very satisfying. My husband, who loves bread, also enjoyed them. The owner (a bread artisan) apparently used to work at "Donq" and has won awards in contests, which explains the deliciousness of the bread. Initially, the bakery was only open on weekdays, but recently, it seems they are open one Saturday a month. They announce their opening days on social media, so if you plan to visit, make sure to check before going! I'm happy that a delicious bakery has opened in the Okhotsk area.
