When I visited Eniwa in Hokkaido for work, I had lunch at a restaurant located at the Michi to Kawa no Eki Hana Road Eniwa. The station faces the national highway with a lot of traffic, and with a Starbucks inside, it attracts a bustling crowd of cars. The vast grounds have a space called "Hanafuru" which is filled with various flowers, creating a beautiful scenery when in season. From the end of June, the "Garden Festa" event starts, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors... I would love to visit again during that time. The restaurant operates with a food ticket system, and after some hesitation, I selected the "12 Vegetable Curry." They use pork called "Konayukitonton" raised stress-free in the grassland area of Ekorin Village in Eniwa. The curry has four levels of spiciness to choose from, and you can also choose the amount of rice you want. The curry ingredients include... potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, eggplants, broccoli, green beans, lotus root, pumpkins, cabbage, onions, red peppers, yellow peppers. *This is based on my observation and may not be accurate! They blend 16 spices uniquely, creating a curry that is rich in spiciness yet delicious with the flavor of vegetables. The Konayukitonton is juicy with just the right amount of fat, making it surprisingly easy to eat despite its volume! The interior of the restaurant is set up like a campsite, with tents pitched and a space for children to play, giving off a family-friendly vibe. Although there were signs indicating Wi-Fi availability, the connection was weak and I couldn't access it at all... Thank you for the meal!
