I visited the "Kuri Mame Honpo" for sheep jelly in Teshikaga. I spent 2 hours running here, will spend 2 hours exploring, and then another 2 hours driving back. I feel like I'm wasting time in various ways. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I'll head back feeling a sense of resignation. I just wanted to use the bathroom, but I ended up stopping at a roadside station. I found some sheep jelly that I've never seen before at the store. It turns out it's from a stone-crushing shop's sweets department. It's quite impressive. I ended up picking up two despite initially giving up. In the end, I forgot to go to the bathroom. How far will my forgetfulness go? I left the store after serving as a refrigerator guard for a while. The darker one tastes like beans and has a nice texture with bits of skin. It's not smooth bean paste or firm bean paste, but rather grainy bean paste jelly. The brown one is also delicious and sweeter. It may not be made from white kidney beans, but it tastes similar. There are no stone fragments in it. It was a tasty sheep jelly experience.
