Visited for dinner on the weekend. I called ahead just in case, but it was a last-minute decision. The restaurant is located in Biei-cho, about a 5-minute walk from Biei Station. We drove there and there is parking space in front of the restaurant, so it's convenient. Inside the store, it looks like it has been renovated recently and it's quite clean. It's not very spacious, but the seating is relatively comfortable and relaxing. There are table seats as well as counter seats. We were seated at a table in the back. It's like a semi-private room, but there is only a partition separating us from the next table, so sound can be heard. We quickly checked the menu. Compared to Tokyo, the price range is a bit more affordable. For example, we ordered the following: - Upper Beef Kalbi 1,680 yen - Beef Tongue 980 yen - Biei Pork Shoulder Loin 680 yen - Pork Belly 680 yen - Hormone 550 yen - Lamb 980 yen - Stone Bibimbap 980 yen - Bibimbap 980 yen We grill these on charcoal and the portions are quite generous. The beef tongue is very thick. Not only the quantity but the quality of the beef tongue at this price is unbelievable. The same can be said for other meats, the pork loin was very juicy and delicious. It was recommended as it is from Biei, and it is definitely a must-order item. The upper kalbi was not a large portion, but the fat was very sweet and it was a very high-quality meat. We ate until we were full with 6 people, and it came to 15,000 yen +. Even though we didn't drink much alcohol, the value for money is incredible, something that would be unheard of in Tokyo. The staff's service was also very good, and the greetings were pleasant. By the way, they also accept credit cards. We left the restaurant very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The last stop of the tour in Asahidake, Biei, and Furano is at a favorite yakiniku restaurant near Biei Station. It is a small, family-friendly local restaurant that offers affordable and delicious Biei pork shoulder loin. The pork, grilled over charcoal, is amazing! The young owner, with a slight pompadour hairstyle, is very friendly and provides quick service. The woman serving, possibly his wife, is also very kind. Ending the tour in Biei at this restaurant is a great choice. You can park your rental car outside and relax until about an hour before your flight. Although I didn't try it this time, I heard that they serve and sell wine made by a nearby producer who grows grapes and produces wine at Takamizu Winery. I should try it next time I visit.

This is probably the 200th entry on Tabelog. I have only been to a few yakiniku restaurants, so please keep in mind that my evaluation may be biased as this is my local area. I arrived at the restaurant around 5 pm. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and the service was pleasant throughout. The restaurant was clean and well-ventilated, which was surprising considering it is within walking distance from my home. The owner also runs a farm, so the vegetables are homemade. They also produce their own wine, with two types of Pinot Noir rosé available. They are planning to build a winery in a few years. I ordered a regular rosé and beef tongue and premium kalbi. The charcoal grill was lit and the meat arrived. The beef tongue was delicious, especially when wrapped in green onions and drizzled with lemon. The premium kalbi was outstanding, with a well-balanced sauce that complemented the meat perfectly. The wine paired well with the meal. Next, I tried the Sakura rosé (sweet), which was delicious and would be popular among women. It was dangerously good. I also ordered the recommended pork shoulder loin and pork skirt. The pork shoulder loin was satisfying, with just the right amount of sweetness and not too fatty. The pork skirt was the most impressive of all the meats I tried. It was juicy and flavorful, and the juices were amazing. Even without sauce, it was delicious. I ordered a side of rice and seaweed soup to finish the meal. The combination of soup, grilled meat, and rice was pure bliss. As I was about to leave, they surprised me with ice cream. The meal lasted about 2 hours, and during that time, there was a family and a group of women having a girls' night out. It was a delightful solo yakiniku experience. I didn't try the bibimbap or cold noodles, but I'm sure they are delicious too. The menu is somewhat limited, but the quality is great. The atmosphere and service were also excellent. I will definitely be back.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant that I was curious about in Biei-cho, Yakiniku Sennen Tsuki. It is located at 2-1-3 Nakamachi, Biei-cho, Kamikawa-gun. The restaurant is open from 5 pm to 10 pm, has parking available, and allows smoking. It is a small yakiniku restaurant on Nakadori. The friendly owner was running the place by himself. As a fan of pork, I first tried the recommended Biei-produced pork kalbi and pork belly (with grilled garlic). The Biei pork kalbi was so thick and only costs 580 yen. They use binchotan charcoal for grilling. The pork meat was really delicious and satisfying. In between, I also had the cold noodles for 880 yen. It was light and delicately flavored. I also tried the beef tongue with salt for 880 yen. While I was focused on the pork, the beef at this restaurant was surprisingly delicious too! It had a good chewy texture and smooth taste. Feeling adventurous, I also tried the beef kalbi, which was also delicious. It had a fine texture and was very elegant. As a pork lover, I couldn't resist ordering more. The owner of this restaurant also manages the Sato Farm in Biei-cho, where they make wine from grapes grown there. Currently, you can only try this wine at Sennen Tsuki, so wine enthusiasts should definitely give it a try.

A 5-minute walk from JR Biei Station, this restaurant called Yakiniku Dokoro Sennotsuki is located across the road from Izakaya Oren-ya. The appearance is quite ordinary, but once inside, you'll find a cozy little place with about 4 sunken kotatsu-style seating areas. The energetic master will quickly come to take your order. They use only Hokkaido-produced beef and pork, with some dishes featuring Biei-produced pork. The lettuce is from their own home garden, so it's really fresh. The recommended main dish is the Biei-produced pork kalbi. The tender meat with just the right amount of fat, seasoned with freshly ground salt and pepper, is incredibly juicy. Unlike the thin meat often served in Hokkaido, this one is truly juicy. The prices are reasonable, so it's a must-order item. The side menu often includes stone-grilled bibimbap. Many tables around us ordered it, so we tried the "Cheese Mentaiko Bibimbap." It was delicious. The spiciness of the gochujang was just right, and when mixed with the cheese mentaiko, it was a delight to eat. The sauce could have been a bit better, but when eaten with salt, you can taste the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend visiting this place.
