Hello, it's Ramen Walking! Today, I visited Hikari Ryokue in Nishinakajima Minamigata and had their ramen. The main shop in Sakuranomiya was already visited before, and I had high expectations for this branch as well. I arrived at 18:40 and there were a few customers but no waiting. Just like other comments mentioned, it seems weekdays nights are a good time to visit as it's not too crowded. I purchased ramen for 850 yen and added salted pork for 200 yen. The soup was made from pork and chicken bones, giving it a rich and sweet flavor which I really enjoyed. The extremely thin noodles reminded me of Hakata ramen, and I personally love thin noodles so it was a plus for me. The toppings included chashu, menma, onions, and kaiware. The salted pork chashu was a new experience for me, and its refreshing taste paired well with the rich soup. The onions served as a nice contrast to the heavy soup. I finished everything and had a great dining experience at Hikari Ryokue in Nishinakajima. Thank you for the meal! Steps today: 11,393 calories burned: 421 kcal

This is a personal favorite ramen shop that would definitely rank in the top 5 for me. I ordered the ramen (large) with extra salted pork topping (¥950 + ¥200 = ¥1,150). Unfortunately, the tsukemen was sold out. The ramen was delicious, but personally I prefer the tsukemen. I visited around 1:30 PM and there was no wait time. Whether it's tsukemen or ramen, the garlic topping is a must! (free) Garlic goes perfectly with that soup. Thank you for the meal!

One of the most popular ramen shops in the highly competitive area of Nishinakajima Minamigata! I've been wanting to visit several times, but it was always sold out. Finally, I was able to visit, but they only had tsukemen left. The interior of the shop has a counter and two tables, with CDs placed around, creating a stylish and relaxing atmosphere. The tsukemen was priced at ¥900, with a large serving for ¥1,150. The soup was incredibly delicious - rich and flavorful! The noodles were quite generous, so even though it was a regular size, I left feeling satisfied. I'd like to try their ramen next time.

I like thick and rich ramen the best. It has a flavor that makes you want to drink all the soup, even though it's thick. It's amazing. However, people with weak stomachs might feel heavy if they drink all the soup. Sprinkling some Yukari on top adds a nice touch. I want to try the tsukemen next time. But the soup is so delicious.

This is Hikaru Ryoma Masu from Nishinakajima Minamigata, a ramen battleground in Umeda. Among the many delicious ramen shops in this area, I decided to try one called Sakuranomiya Tonpito Tori no Ryoma Masu branch. This time, I ordered the tsukemen foam. I bought a tsukemen ticket and paid an extra 100 yen for the foam option. The soup was a creamy blend of rich chicken broth made with Tonpito Tori, topped with salted pork. The noodles were medium thickness and cooked perfectly, topped with plenty of green onions, bamboo shoots, bonito flakes, and pickled plum, with additional toppings of salted pork. I also added garlic to the soup, which complemented the flavor well. The texture of the green onions and bamboo shoots was great, and the aroma of bonito flakes and the freshness of the shiso leaves added to the dish. Squeezing lemon over it added a refreshing citrusy flavor. The salted pork was tender and perfectly seasoned. Since there was no soup refill option, I alternated between the pickled plum and the soup at the end, which created a delicious combination of rich soup and tangy plum. Overall, it was a delicious bowl of ramen that was rich, flavorful, and perfect for garlic lovers.

I used to go to Sakuranomiya location often, but this was my first time visiting this one. I parked at a nearby parking lot and entered. It was around 1:30 pm, so there weren't many customers. This time, I ordered the ramen in large size. It wasn't as thick as it looked, and the noodles paired perfectly with the thick chashu. It was an excellent dish!

I purchased tsukemen (dipping noodles) and added salted pork topping using the ticket machine for 900 yen. I also gave 100 yen in cash to the staff and asked for "tsukemen with plum" (梅) flavor. It was my first time seeing plum included in tsukemen. The texture of the soup was very good. I thought it would be a typical rich and savory flavor, but it was different and unique. I usually felt indifferent about toppings like bamboo shoots, but I decided to try them this time. It was surprisingly good. All the toppings on top of the noodles harmonized perfectly. The plum that came with it was amazing, far better than the ones in bento boxes. This tsukemen made me want to come back again.

I ordered the menu ☆ Tsukemen, regular size, 900 yen (tax included). Today's recommendation was Tsukemen, so I bought a ramen ticket, but I went to the staff and paid an extra 50 yen to change it to Tsukemen. I entered as the second customer when the shop opened at 18:00. Thank you for the meal! Thank you, Nishinakajima Koryuemasu!

I visited "Kouryumas" in Nishi-Nakajima, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka. This is the second store of "Tonpi Tori no Kouryumas" located near JR Sakuranomiya Station. The menu offers a choice between "ramen" or "tsukemen". I chose the "tsukemen" (900 yen) without hesitation. The noodles come with toppings such as menma, white negi, sliced lemon, and kaiware. The dipping sauce has a slightly high salt concentration but tastes delicious. It's mentioned that soup refills are not available, but the noodles are well coated with the sauce, leaving almost none at the end. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of "Verono Shin-Osaka Minami" with a calm and cozy facade of white walls and sliding doors.

The appearance is more like a traditional Japanese restaurant rather than a ramen shop. The soup is a rich chicken broth that makes you want to keep eating. The noodles are medium thickness. It can get a bit crowded during lunchtime, and since there is only one man cooking, the serving time is a bit slow. In the summer, the tsukemen (dipping noodles) is also recommended.

I tried to visit this place several times before but was unsuccessful, but finally made my first visit today. They have a cool simplicity with only two options on the menu - ramen and tsukemen. I ordered the tsukemen and when it arrived, I was immediately impressed by the presentation. The noodles were firm and chewy, with a medium thickness. The dipping broth was a rich chicken and pork skin white soup, which was thick but had a refreshing finish. As I continued eating, the richness gradually became more pronounced. Squeezing lemon onto the noodles added a nice touch of flavor. I ordered an extra serving of noodles, which could be chosen in either the same medium thickness as the original noodles or a thicker variety. I chose the thicker noodles and enjoyed the difference in texture. The staff mentioned that the extra serving was 200g, while the regular serving was probably around 300g. By the time I finished the extra noodles, the dipping broth was also finished, but there was no need to worry as it was a satisfying meal. #Kansai #KansaiFood #KansaiLunch #Osaka #OsakaFood #OsakaLunch #NishinakajimaMinamigata #NishinakajimaMinamigataFood #NishinakajimaMinamigataLunch #KansaiTsukemen #Tsukemen #KansaiRamen #Ramen #LargeServing #ExtraNoodles #ThickNoodles #Top5000onTabelog #NishinakajimaKouryokueki #Kouryokueki

I ordered ramen with free extra garlic on the side. The soup was thick and rich, similar to the famous Tenkaippin. The noodles were straight and slightly firm, blending perfectly with the soup as I slurped them up. Halfway through, I added the garlic for a flavor boost, transforming the soup into a punchy delight. I enjoyed every last drop.

Ramen with extra chashu and additional garlic on the side for 1050 yen. The purpose of this visit was to confirm the taste of garlic in the soup. Therefore, I added garlic from the beginning. I divided about 80% of the garlic from the side dish into three parts and mixed it in. The soup tastes great with the added garlic flavor. It's delicious without needing any explanation. The thin noodles go really well with the garlic-infused soup. Next time, I will try the tsukemen.

3rd visit. In our group, if we go 3 times, we're already regulars. I won't go 3 times unless it's really delicious. I thought the restaurant was spacious with table seats, making it easy for families with children to enter. However, the entrance is tight. You have to lift the stroller up the steep stairs. It doesn't seem very welcoming to babies. Still, it was good that there were table seats available. In my previous post, I wanted to add simmered pork topping, but I've been moderating lately, so I just had the dipping noodles. My husband had the large serving of dipping noodles, simmered pork topping, and even rice... It says dipping noodles take time, but it's fast here - speedy and efficient turnover! Bamboo shoots, green onions, medium-thick slightly curly noodles, and chunks of pork in the dipping sauce. The rich dipping sauce that clings well to the noodles is great! And the pork here is the best!! In the end, I gave in to my weak will and took a piece of simmered pork from my husband. As a green onion maniac, I appreciate the thickness of the green onions here, so they stand out against the rich dipping sauce. Yes, this is it!! I wrote this in excitement about the deliciousness after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the renowned restaurant "Koryo Eki" in Nishinakajima Minamigata. I think the main branch is in Sakuranomiya. I had the ramen (¥850) this time, as I tried the tsukemen at the main branch before. First, the soup. It was delicious, thick and rich with a strong animal-based punch but no unpleasant smell, and the soy sauce flavor was not too overpowering. It got a bit heavy towards the end, so I might get a bit tired of it. Next, the noodles. They were medium-thin straight noodles, slightly firm with a moderate flavor. The noodles were simple and somewhat underwhelming compared to the unique and delicious noodles in the tsukemen at the main branch. Overall, it was tasty, but it didn't quite have the same impact as the tsukemen at the main branch.

When I went on a business trip to Osaka, I happened to come across a ramen shop while looking for lunch. It was already past lunchtime so I was able to enter without having to wait in line. I bought a food ticket, but the staff told me that they were sold out of tsukemen (dipping noodles), and I noticed that they only had tsukemen and ramen on the menu. I realized that this was their specialty. Later on, I found out that this was a popular ramen shop. The shop's specialty is their soup made from pork skin and chicken. The soup was rich and satisfying on its own. They use thin noodles, which are necessary to fully enjoy the soup. The balance was just right. The taste was addictive, among all the rich-flavored ramen I've tried, this one was top-notch.

I finally had the chance to visit the popular ramen shop, KoryuEki, in the fiercely competitive area of Nishinakajima Minamigata. The shop is clean and run by young male and female staff. The menu offers a choice between ramen and tsukemen. I was indecisive, but since it was hot that day, I opted for the tsukemen. The tsukemen (large serving) priced at 1150 yen had a rich and thick soup base made from pork and chicken, which coated the noodles well. The noodles were medium thick and straight, with a satisfying texture. The soup contained chashu, while the noodles were topped with bamboo shoots, seaweed, and green onions. The large serving had a substantial amount, and I left feeling satisfied. I look forward to trying their ramen during the colder months. 23rd visit, 88th bowl.

I purchased a ticket at a shop with a ticket system. This time, I ordered ramen with salted pork topping. There were 6 seats for waiting customers inside the shop, and 4 were already taken when I arrived. Adding garlic was recommended, but I refrained this time because I had plans after eating. The rich chicken broth soup made from chicken and pork tasted similar to Tenkaippin. As someone who doesn't like seafood, I loved the taste. It was lighter than Tenkaippin. The soup looked rich, but it had no unpleasant smell or taste, and the kaiware and white leeks added a touch of elegance. The salted pork was light but tender, and the duck added a fragrance that enhanced the soup and noodles. The menma had a light flavor. The thin straight noodles matched the soup perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen, finishing every last bit of soup. Although I usually prefer ramen, I plan to try the tsukemen next time.

I arrived just before closing time for lunch so I was able to get in right away. The interior of the restaurant was clean, and I ordered a simple ramen since the tsukemen was sold out. The chicken white broth was rich and creamy, and the wheat noodles had a delicious fragrance. I finished the whole bowl in probably 2 minutes. The soup was so tasty that I didn't even realize when I reached the last sip.

The ramen shop opened promptly at 18:00 with a simple menu offering just two items: ramen for ¥850 and tsukemen. The noodles were thin and delicious. The broth was made from a combination of pork skin and 8 types of chicken, giving it a strong flavor. The chicken broth was tasty, especially with the smoked duck adding a nice touch. Overall, a satisfying meal, although the broth did leave a slightly greasy feeling on the lips afterwards.

I visited this place about 5 years ago and decided to revisit for lunch near here. I felt like the taste has changed a bit, or rather, the richness of the flavor has decreased. The ramen is still well-balanced as before, but I think the taste has been gradually changing. I also feel like going to Sakuranomiya to compare the taste difference.
