I stayed here for a business trip to Nakashibetsu. I originally planned to stay at my usual hotel, B Hotel, but it was fully booked so I ended up here. The hotel is located on Route 13, just north of the main intersection on the left. The parking lot is not very big, so it's best to check in early to secure a spot. The hotel has a retro feel, including the rooms, but that's fine because I'm here for work (and there was Wi-Fi available). One good thing about this place is that there are bars nearby where you can walk to, which was convenient for enjoying delicious seafood at night. The next morning, I had breakfast at the hotel... I didn't have high expectations (I usually don't eat breakfast), but when I entered the dining room and saw the simple dishes, I was a bit surprised. I picked up a few items from the large plates and sat at a table near the TV. There was potato salad, boiled spinach, kinpira, grilled fish (salmon), and a fried egg... I think they have perfected this selection over the years, but I would have liked some fruit for dessert. After the meal, I gulped down some Nakashibetsu milk and coffee, then left the hotel to breathe in the fresh air. Thank you for the meal.

This is a hotel in Nakashibetsu Town that I always rely on. It used to be called "Sugawara Ryokan" but now it's changed to "Kaiyo Inn". Due to work, I often have to leave the hotel at 5 or 6 in the morning, so I rarely eat breakfast at the hotel's dining room. Instead, I have meals at nearby restaurants in the evening. On the day of departure, I have breakfast at this hotel. It's a leisurely breakfast, which makes me feel happy. I made a reservation for breakfast the day before. Breakfast is an additional 500 yen. By the way, the accommodation fee without meals is 5000 yen per night. Breakfast starts at 7 am. It includes rice, miso soup, fried egg, grilled fish, boiled spinach, pickled plum, salted squid, natto, salad, and more. It's a satisfying breakfast. I also had some "Nakashibetsu milk" produced locally. It was very rich and delicious milk! A fulfilling breakfast. Breakfast is wonderful. Thank you for the meal. Having a proper breakfast is a great thing. It makes me feel like I can do my best today! (On this day, I took a bus from Nakashibetsu to Kushiro, and then a train from Kushiro to Otaru, so I didn't have to move around much...^^;)
