Hello, it's me, your loyal reviewer, DaffyPatter. I saw a review saying "the rice is not that great," so I decided to visit the restaurant to try it out myself. It was past lunchtime, but there was plenty of space in the parking lot. You can park with some extra room on both sides.
It's a semi-self-service system, where you order at the counter first. Today, I was mainly focused on the "rice," so I didn't think too much about the ramen. I decided to go for the "Mellow Meat Dashi Shoyu Noodle" and upgrade to a "Medium Rice." I wondered if the "Satisfaction Set" would have been a better deal, but I stuck with the "Medium Rice" as the rice was the star of the show.
When your number is called, they bring the food to your table. The food counter doesn't seem to be functioning. Oh, this rice! It's not that great. It's not the quality of the rice itself, nor the way it was cooked, but it seems like it took a long time to fluff up the rice after cooking. And the way they fluffed it seems a bit rough. It's more like mixing than fluffing.
The noodles here, on the other hand, are really good. At first, I couldn't taste the broth much, but the aroma of the broth is really nice. When you mix the noodles with the hot soup and eat it, it's quite a good quality for the price.
The kitchen seems to be busier than the dining area. There are about three people in the kitchen. The staff mainly focus on the cash register and cleaning the tables. When customers leave, only one staff member in the dining area says thank you, while the kitchen staff remain busy.
Overall, there are some things that bother me, but I would like to try that soup again. I'm curious to see if the "not that great rice" will improve in the future. Oh, as I was about to leave and go back to my car, I found another customer had parked really close to me, making it difficult to leave. The parking lot is not that big, but that was a bit much.
There are some things that leave me feeling unsettled, but I'm still curious about how things will develop, especially that soup.
