During the consecutive holidays, I went to Higashikawa town to take photos of manhole covers. I also visited a shop that offers donuts made with graham flour, which I was curious about. The shop was bright and welcoming, with a variety of delicious-looking donuts on display. I purchased graham donuts in matcha, chocolate, and café au lait flavors. The graham donuts were made with graham flour, giving them a unique texture and flavor. The matcha donut had a perfect balance of sweetness and matcha flavor, while the chocolate donut was rich and indulgent. The café au lait donut had a delicious coffee flavor with a hint of milkiness. Overall, the donuts were delicious and I would definitely visit the shop again if I have the chance.

In the town of Higashikawa, I got a Pokéfuta and while on the move, I found this sign and decided to make a detour! I really liked the tofu-based doughnuts I had last time!
- Plain Banana (Tofu): I still love this chewy dough...! The banana flavor is soft and a bit cinnamon-y.
- Matcha (Graham): The dough felt like whole wheat or grainy, a bit dry, and not very strong matcha flavor. The dough's flavor is quite prominent.
These doughnuts seem to be good as they are without heating. I just love the chewy tofu-based dough too much...! There were many options and I was hesitating, but the staff's pressure made me a bit nervous haha. The service wasn't bad, but there was a slightly prickly attitude. But I'm glad I got to eat these doughnuts again after a long time! Thank you, Wu-ta-san!!! (((orz

I had a cream-filled donut! I forgot to take a photo of it!! The chocolate one is still unopened! The donut had real cream inside and tasted really delicious, like it was made with care! I want to try other items next time.

"I received the Halloween version original. I ordered it for the Halloween event this year. It's a combination of graham crackers and tofu! The donuts, inspired by mummies and spiders, are cute and have the best texture and flavor of graham crackers. Recently, you can also buy them at Asahikawa harete, making it more accessible for Asahikawa residents."

And, have you been there before? From the name of the place, it seems like a donut shop, right? It would be interesting if it's not a donut shop, but I guess it's not just named for fun. I'm alone in Higashikawa, Akō Rōshi. I chose Higashikawa for this week. I had a note about it. It wasn't that long ago, but I planned to come here. I don't remember why I didn't come. Did I choose a different town? If so, it must be Obihiro. Did something unfortunate happen? Then it must be Sapporo. So, when I searched in Higashikawa, this shop was the first one that came up. It seems like they sell donuts. There was a sign on the national highway. It seems you have to go about 750 meters from the national highway. 700 meters or 900 meters would be fine too. It's in an industrial area. Is it really here? It's a donut shop that you have to go out of your way to visit. There are some high-end residential areas suddenly lined up in this area. It's a location that makes you really worried. Is it a hobby of the rich? It's a donut specialty store. The inside of the store is small too. Are two women running it? Their voices can be heard. But why are they doing this in this location? I should have asked. There are so many options that I'm having a hard time deciding. When I said, "I'm having a hard time deciding," they said, "Some items are sold out." I ordered "Azuki Cream" and "Plain." Well, both are safe choices. For me, "Where are you from?" they asked, so I honestly answered. Then the conversation expanded to "I recently saw coral grass." I don't really want to say I'm from Abashiri, but I said it, so there's no going back. I used to lie and say a different place name, but there are quite a few people who know that place. I had trouble keeping up with the conversation a few times. Lying is not a good thing. I'll eat it after a while. Maybe that's why? The dough is firm. Azuki and cream are good. The cream is hidden, giving a modest impression. Plain is brown. Plain doesn't give that impression, right? The surface is hard, but the inside is moist. The sweetness is quite restrained, and it's more like a snack. Donuts are bread to me, but this kind of thing is more like a snack, I guess.

I visited And Donuts, a donut shop in Higashikawa. The small shop has a cute exterior that matches the peaceful scenery of Higashikawa. They offer two types of donuts: graham (whole wheat) donuts and tofu donuts, with various flavors like chocolate coating, cream cheese filling, etc. I bought a variety of donuts including cafe au lait, strawberry, banana plain, and a donut with red bean paste and cream cheese filling. The graham donut had a crunchy texture which I found interesting, while the tofu donut was soft as expected. I appreciated the creativity in the different toppings and fillings. Donuts are meant to be enjoyed while chatting with friends, so having a variety of flavors is great for conversation. Although I enjoyed the taste and appearance, I felt that the pricing could be a bit more affordable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience in Higashikawa. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the Halloween version at the Halloween event, which came with skeleton, bat, and jack-o'-lantern chocolates. When it comes to donuts, I often buy them from a certain chain store, but the donuts from & Doughnuts are packed full inside, crispy on the outside, and moist inside, making them incredibly delicious. They also look great in photos and I think they would make a great gift for anyone, so they are perfect for souvenirs or presents!

A shop that was talked about at work a while ago. It has a subtle graham flavor and a refined sweetness in the filling. It has a simple taste but it's delicious in its own way, and you can tell they care about using good ingredients that are good for you. When reheated at home, it felt a bit greasy. It's also convenient that you can freeze it for storage.

When it comes to graduation ceremonies, people often think of red and white manju or red and white mochi. But now, "red and white celebration donuts" are trendy! I asked And Donuts to make a "celebration donut" like the one in the photo. It has a dense texture, not greasy at all. The sweetness is just right, and it's really delicious! They are apparently going to start offering message donuts too! They are Instagram-worthy, so definitely give them a try! I want to try different varieties, so I will visit the shop next time.

2020/9 In the middle of nature, there was a donut shop, which was surprising! The "Hagure Cafe" is a favorite among girls. Normally, you can dine inside the shop, but on this day, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were only offering takeout sales through the window. They had two types of donut dough: graham (whole wheat) base and tofu base. I accidentally bought two graham ones without realizing it. ・Strawberry 210 yen It's pink, which girls love! The sweet and sour strawberry is coated with chocolate. ・White Chocolate 210 yen If you buy red, then you have to buy white, right? Red and white, like the Japanese flag! The white chocolate is not too sweet and has a crunchy texture from the roughly ground whole wheat? It's a new and delicious experience. This is tasty! Thank you for the meal.

The donut shop that I couldn't visit due to timing issues turned out to be a trendy place with a factory at first sight. There was a cozy outdoor seating area and inside the shop, you had to take off your shoes. I bought a few donuts for a light lunch and snack. The tofu donut had a chewy texture and was delicious. The graham donut (I can't remember the flavor...) had crunchy bits mixed in, giving it a delicious nutty flavor. I planned to enjoy them at home, but they were so tasty that I ended up eating them in the car! I'll definitely visit the shop next time.

The chocolate crunch (graham), half chocolate (graham), banana chocolate crunch (tofu), and red bean cream cheese (tofu) donuts were cute and round. Despite arriving late and finding them running low on stock, they were delicious and not greasy, whether made from graham or tofu.

I purchased a fresh chocolate strawberry donut and a red bean cheese donut. I recommend eating them quickly as the chocolate tends to melt. They are very delicious. The donuts are soft and chewy.
