In the middle of the Nukabira Onsen area in Hokkaido, there is a place called "Chuo-so" which also has a geothermal power plant. The hospitality here is thoughtful and they try their best to provide a good experience within their price range. The meals are served in a separate room next door, with dinner from 6:00pm and breakfast from 7:00am. During my visit, I had a special course for 8500 yen which included a delicious crab dish. The highlight was the abundant and high-quality hot spring bath, which is one of the best in the Nukabira Onsen area. The hot spring water is sodium-chloride bicarbonate, with a temperature of 64.8°C and a pH of 7.4. The hot water is drawn from a tank behind the building and is not diluted, offering a powerful and refreshing bathing experience. I had a great time here and will definitely visit again.
