Today, I only had bread, milk tea, and chocolate for breakfast, and while I was walking around looking for a place to eat, I ended up in Miyanosawa. I spotted Seiyu, so I decided to eat at Yamano-ya. I ordered the "Cold Soba" for 780 yen. It has been a long time since I last ate here, and I finished it in no time! Next time, I'll get a set meal with rice! The soba was still delicious. I noticed that they added more table and counter seats towards the back of the restaurant. I was the only customer, and I saw someone at the counter finishing their dipping sauce. I might visit again. It was delicious! Bye for now!

Before heading out to a banquet, I decided to eat some soba to lightly fill my stomach since I hadn't had breakfast. I found a small dining area in the underground passage of Miyanosawa. I'm not sure when it was established, as there weren't any soba shops there before. I prefer kake soba over zaru soba, so I ordered a cold tanuki kake soba because it was hot outside. It was around 11:30, so there weren't many customers inside. I bought a meal ticket and paid at the register. The noodles were thin and the portion was just right to satisfy my hunger. The taste was average, but the prices were reasonable, making it a great place for a quick solo meal. If you're looking to eat more, I recommend ordering the donburi set, which is less than 1000 yen.

Today, I was feeling lazy to go far, so I chose a place nearby that I haven't been to before. I arrived around 1 pm and the restaurant was relatively empty. I had to choose what I wanted at the entrance and it was a pre-payment system. I decided to try the pork bowl set because I was curious about their pork bowl. It cost ¥950 including tax. I also chose cold soba noodles. The food arrived in about 10 minutes after I sat down. The pork bowl looked a bit small in size, and the soba noodles were average. The soba broth was clear and not very flavorful. The soba noodles had a good texture and were delicious. The dipping sauce was also tasty, but the soba broth was a bit disappointing. As for the pork bowl, it was more like a grilled meat bowl rather than a traditional pork bowl. The amount of meat was more than the amount of rice, which was a bit disappointing. The seasoning was not bad, but overall it felt like a grilled meat bowl. I was quite disappointed with the pork bowl.

The automatic door opened and I handed the menu card placed on the wall to the counter to pay. I couldn't find the "morisoba" on the menu, only "zarusoba" for 650 yen. It seems that "morisoba" is not available. The "dattan soba" is available for an additional 100 yen. I ordered the pork bowl for 550 yen. The customer after me also ordered the pork bowl, and it was served in less than 10 minutes. They also brought warm tea after serving the dish. The pork in the bowl was cut into small pieces and topped with sautéed onions. The sauce was not too sweet and had a gentle home-cooked taste. It was a pleasant dining experience.

At the back of the subway Miyano-sawa station, there is a soba restaurant located deep inside the bus terminal entrance. During lunchtime on weekdays, there were many customers already seated when I arrived. The ordering system had changed (a new experience for me) where you have to pick a card with a photo of the noodles before sitting down, pay at the register, and then take a seat. Tempura was available near the register, so I chose two pieces (eggplant and maitake mushrooms) and paid at the same time. I intended to have tempura soba, so I ordered just the noodles. What! The plain noodles cost 750 yen? Yes, they did. I was surprised by the high price for simple soba at this seemingly upscale restaurant. I almost left, but ended up choosing two tempura pieces (eggplant and maitake) and paid a total of 850 yen. Wait, the math doesn't add up. Maybe the plain noodles were actually 650 yen. The card I chose did say 750 yen, though. The tea and water were self-serve, but they brought it to me before I could figure it out. There was a staff member assigned to the seating area. Can't they take orders too? The noodle card system was confusing. When the plain noodles arrived, they looked quite plain. The soba was different from the standing soba shops, but not worth 750, no, 650 yen. Maybe around 550 yen. I believe they make the noodles by hand. The tempura was reasonably priced. It may be challenging to hire employees at such low prices, but like Marugame Seimen, focusing on the noodles and offering them cheaply, while allowing customers to take more tempura themselves and naturally increasing the average customer spending, would improve customer satisfaction. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at Yamanoya in SEIYU underground in Miyanosawa. When you enter, you immediately pick up a meal ticket, pay at the register, and wait at your table. It's a similar system to standing soba shops, but the prices are a bit higher. It's so cold today that I didn't feel like having a cold soba, so I was debating on getting a warm soba when I noticed the curry kishimen. Without hesitation, I got it and paid. It's been a while since I had kishimen. The meal arrived in about 5 minutes. The aroma is of a very authentic curry. It's almost like a curry rice with a thicker consistency. The kishimen is thinner than I expected but has a good texture, and it tastes delicious with the curry. It's more authentic than I thought, so I want to try other dishes here next time. I'd like to try their soba next time.

This is a soba restaurant located in a building directly connected to Miyanosawa Station. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it a convenient place to eat. The soba is made from Horokanai soba, but you can upgrade to Dattan soba for an additional 100 yen. Dattan soba has a strong and delicious flavor. They offer a variety of set menus at a good cost performance. It's a great place to eat that is easily accessible being connected to the station.

Before moving, I finally had the chance to visit "Yamanoya", a restaurant that I was curious about on my way to work. It is located in the basement of the Seiyu Miyanosawa store, which is directly connected to the Tozai Line of the Sapporo Municipal Subway. The parking lot can be used at the Seiyu store. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and there are menu cards at the entrance where you can pick what you want to order, then pay at the register and wait at your seat. I ordered the "Oyakodon Set (890 yen)". I sat at the counter facing the wall, waited a bit, and then started eating! It was quite average. The Oyakodon set was neither good nor bad. If I had to say something, I would prefer the seasoning of the Oyakodon to be a bit stronger! It's a place where you can eat quickly and easily.

On a certain holiday, I visited a soba restaurant that opens early in an area near the West Yuujo underground shops at Miyanozawa Station. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with two tables, eight counter seats, and additional table seating at the back. Soft classical music played in the background. I decided to try the morning set, which was a good deal at 529 yen. The soba noodles were a light gray color and slightly warm, with a chewy texture. The dipping sauce was also light and tasty, perfect for dipping the noodles. The set also included cold onsen tamago, homemade inari sushi, cucumber slices, and a warm soba broth. Overall, it was a satisfying meal for around 500 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Located in a terminal building directly connected to the subway Minami-Senju station in Sapporo's Nishi Ward, this soba restaurant feels more like it belongs in the basement of the Seiyu supermarket. If you park your car in the Seiyu parking lot, you can get 1 hour of free parking with a ticket printed inside the store. During lunchtime, the restaurant is incredibly popular with a variety of customers, including office workers, housewives shopping, and elderly people. Orders are taken at the entrance counter with a self-service system, where you tell them your order verbally before paying. However, once you are seated, the staff will bring your food to you, making it more of a semi-self-service experience. The zaru soba costs 550 yen (tax included). I prefer my soba without seaweed, so I asked them to leave it off, which they were happy to do, although the price remained the same. The soba noodles had a smooth texture, similar to somen, but I wish they were colder. The broth was surprisingly authentic, with a mellow kombu base and a subtle bonito flavor that paired well with the soba. This restaurant's main appeal lies in its relatively affordable and generous portion sizes, especially in their set meals. With its convenient location and strong focus on food, it can be considered a great dining option. Overall, this casual restaurant's presence is quite charming.

I didn't have much time, so I thought it was a standing soba shop, but when I visited, it turned out to be surprisingly spacious. The ordering process was unique, with food tickets on the wall that you take to the cashier. I ordered the parent and child rice bowl set for 853 yen. The soba noodles were thin and slightly overcooked, with a mild salt sauce and a noticeable kelp broth flavor. The parent and child rice bowl was quite sweet, and I apologize, but due to lack of time, I left half of it uneaten.

I went with my children for the first time in a while. We parked the car in the Seiyu parking lot. The parking fee becomes free with the authentication device at the store. We chose meal tickets (cards) at the entrance and paid at the register. The children had zaru soba and kake soba. I had curry kishimen! The store looks small, but there are also table seats in the back. They say they don't use chemical seasonings in the soup here. The atmosphere feels like a standing soba shop? Cafeteria? but it's reassuring. My son didn't seem satisfied with the zaru soba, so next time we'll get the large size. My daughter was satisfied with the kake soba. The curry kishimen was properly spicy and I ate it while sweating. We will come back again.

This is the Miyanozawa subway station. I was planning to have a coffee before going for a morning bath, and I found a soba restaurant next door! And it's cheap, with an inari sushi and a hot spring egg included! I have to try it out. There are already three customers ahead of me. I take the morning discount set card and hand it to the cashier. Maybe it's better than the ticket machine. The order is quickly prepared, and I dig in. First, I try the broth...? The soba noodles are thin and lack texture, not very flavorful. When I drink the broth alone, I don't really taste the dashi. It's a bit too salty, lacking in sweetness. Maybe the mirin is missing? I just can't seem to enjoy the noodles with this broth. After finishing the noodles, I try the broth again, and the dashi flavor is there. Maybe my taste buds are off? The inari sushi was well-seasoned and delicious, and the hot spring egg was satisfying. The soba left me a bit unsure of myself. Thanks for the meal. This was my 11th bowl of noodles this year.

I came here because I heard they serve kishimen. They validate parking with a receipt from Seiyu's parking lot. I didn't know there was a dining area in this kind of place. Inside, you have to choose a menu card. I already knew what I wanted to eat, so I just had to find the card for curry kishimen, but it could be confusing for first-time visitors. I took the card to the register to pay. The curry kishimen cost 720 yen plus tax, with tax added separately. I paid 777 yen and received a ticket. I took the ticket and waited at the counter. When it was ready, they brought it to me. The curry kishimen had curry sauce added on top. I imagined it would have a thick consistency from mixing the broth and curry. The curry was spicy and delicious. I couldn't taste the original broth flavor well. The kishimen was soft and short, making it hard to eat. It had a smooth texture. It's hard to find kishimen that suits my taste. Maybe getting it as a set with soba would be better. I noticed the staff chatting with each other about non-work-related topics the whole time.

This is a soba restaurant in Sapporo, Nishi-ku, directly connected to the Subway Miyanosawa Station. It was a warm day, perfect for a soba stroll. I had some other business in Nishi-ku, so I decided to visit this place that caught my eye when I took a coffee break at a cafe on the same floor before. Unlike vending machines, you take a card with photos of dishes and prices at the entrance and pay at the register. On this day, I was drawn in by the smell of curry inside and ordered the curry set. The interior was much more spacious than I had imagined, with seats surrounding the kitchen. The set, which was ready in a few minutes, included zaru soba and a mini curry rice bowl. The soba was thin and labeled as Horokanai soba, but lacked flavor and chewiness. The broth was on the sweeter side with a strong dashi taste, not quite balanced with the soba. The curry, while not very spicy, had a rich and spicy flavor from the simmered minced meat, giving it an authentic taste. It wasn't very budget-friendly, but they offer set meals at different times of the day, which seem like a good deal.

I had curry soba and my companion had kashiwa soba. The soba noodles were thin. The curry was sweet but had a slight spiciness that came later. It's convenient to go there as it's located inside the station.
