This is a report on a ramen restaurant in Hokkaido (lol). I was curious about it in Bihoro Town, but when I passed by, I decided to visit the ramen shop "Ranjatai". It was the last day of the three-day weekend, a holiday at noon, and there were only about 3 customers, so I was able to sit without waiting! The parking lot could accommodate about 4 cars behind the shop, with one space empty in the back. When I was trying to back up after realizing that I couldn't make a U-turn inside, a staff member came out of the shop to show me a parking space in front of the shop, showing their kind and considerate customer service. The interior of the shop had around 5 counter seats, 2 tables for 4 people, and 3 small raised tables in the back. You purchase your meal ticket at the ticket machine at the entrance before entering the shop. Although there were menu photos opposite the ticket machine that made it easy to understand, since it was my first visit, I asked the staff for recommendations before ordering. I ordered the "Spicy Miso Ramen ¥850", "Egg ¥100", and "Butter ¥100 (cash payment for additional butter after serving)". The staff recommended the top right corner of the ticket machine, rather than following the rule of the top left corner, as the most popular and recommended choice. There was jazz music playing in the background, creating a calm atmosphere. The shop had an Instagram QR code posted, and the lighting at the counter seats made the food look appetizing. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes! The presentation was beautiful, and the miso ramen looked incredibly delicious! You can choose the spiciness level from 1 to 4, and I asked for level 1, which was described as mildly spicy. The soup had a nice level of spiciness, which I enjoyed. The curly yellow egg noodles also carried the soup well and were delicious! Toppings like cabbage, menma, and chashu were also tasty. The chashu was tender and flavorful without any unpleasant smell. The half-cooked egg coated the tongue nicely, adding a different dimension to the soup. Just to see how it would change the flavor, I ordered "Butter" separately midway through the meal. It instantly added a smooth and rich taste, enhancing the already delicious miso ramen! Hokkaido's miso ramen is truly delicious and authentic! I quickly finished the delicious meal! I noticed many other customers also ordering the "Mini Green Onion Rice Bowl" as a side dish. I highly recommend the "Spicy Miso Ramen" at Ranjatai! I read reviews mentioning that it is a new restaurant that opened in April this year, and it is shining brightly. I look forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you for the delicious meal!

The noodles seemed to be made of whole wheat flour, but they were smooth and easy to eat. There were at least two slices of chashu, green onions, fried garlic bits, and the dipping sauce was rich with a seafood aroma and flavor. You can also order a side of small rice, which you can add to the piping hot soup. This combination is incredibly delicious and highly recommended.

After a long time, I had lunch in Bihoro. I decided to eat ramen at Ranshamaite. There was a ticket machine and menu photos at the entrance, and it seems like there are no menu tables inside. Although I was curious about the manager's recommendation, Hakata Black, as a fan of spicy food, I couldn't miss the Oni Karashi Ramen. I decided to add vegetables as a topping to prepare for the spiciness. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles that clung well to the soup. The ingredients included cabbage, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, green onions, and chashu. The soup is bright red, but it's not so spicy that it makes you cough. You can taste the sweetness of the vegetables, and there's a hint of citrus flavor like yuzu? I wish the soup was a bit hotter, but overall, it was a delicious ramen with no major complaints. The spiciness was just mildly spicy for me. There were a lot of customers ordering Hakata Black, and it seems like you can also get extra noodles, so I might try that next time.

I often use this restaurant. They have started a limited menu inspired by Jiro-style ramen called "Kojiro," so my husband and I went to try it. My husband ordered Kojiro (1000 yen) with an extra topping of 2 slices of chashu (250 yen). I ordered Hakata Black (900 yen) with a topping of corn (100 yen). By the way, it seems that Hakata Black has been upgraded from a limited menu to a regular menu! I'm so happy. I tried a bit of Kojiro, and it was very garlicky! The noodles are thick and the garlic flavor is strong. I usually order Hakata Black, but this time I tried adding corn as a topping, and it was delicious with the added sweetness. I think I'll add corn from now on. It was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon! It seems like a sign that it has become a popular restaurant, which makes me happy. I hope they continue to do well in the future.

It's inspired by Jiro-style ramen, but the noodles are not as thick and hard as udon noodles, they are regular noodles. There is no excessive oil. The chashu is not too thick, just three slices on top with minced garlic. It also has bean sprouts, cabbage, green onions, and bamboo shoots, with soy sauce standing out, making it salty and a bit junky. It's not greasy, so even those who don't like Jiro-style ramen can enjoy it. However, if you expect it to taste like Jiro-style ramen, you might be disappointed.

Limited-time menu, Hakata Black, is still available! I hope it becomes a regular menu item. You can choose the firmness of the noodles, and I recommend going for harder than normal to avoid them becoming too soft. I opted for firm noodles. They come with pickled ginger on the side, which I prefer to add in. Even with firm noodles, they weren't too hard, just perfectly soft. You can also get a second helping of noodles for an additional 100 yen. Just buy a ticket in advance, then ask the staff for an extra serving when you finish your meal. I will definitely be back!

The taste was delicious, probably because I was hungry. However, I didn't feel the urge to go back again. The taste and price didn't quite match up. The staff were friendly, but the lack of menu and having to use a ticket vending machine as soon as you enter was a bit off-putting. Using a ticket vending machine is fine, but I think it would be better to have a menu available.

I tried the limited-time menu "Hakata Black"! I love thin noodles in tonkotsu ramen, so I was happy. You can choose the firmness of the noodles. They recommended going one level up from normal if you want it to be firm, so I chose that. They also asked if I wanted red pickled ginger, so I had some. It came with green onions, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, chashu, seasoned egg, and red pickled ginger. The soup was thick and rich. It was really delicious! I hope they make it a regular menu item in the future...

The name is "Hakata Black," different from Toyama Black. It's a black oil-based soup. I wonder if the owner of this place used to work at "Hakata Ippudo." It's like an homage, maybe. It seems to have both chicken and pork bone in the soup. The noodles are thin and delicious, and you can choose the firmness. They go down smoothly. You can also get extra noodles. You can buy tickets from a vending machine. This time, I skipped the rice. The wood ear mushrooms are a nice touch. They also serve pickled ginger on a separate plate, which is refreshing. The limited menu items at Ramen Yashima are so well-made that they end up becoming regular menu items. I have a feeling that this may happen again this time (laughs). It was delicious.

After returning from the hot springs, we went to a ramen shop at 6:00 pm. However, there was a sign on the door saying "Only reservation customers at the moment"! Feeling disappointed, my husband and I decided to try a ramen shop we couldn't read the kanji of. Inside the shop, the staff directed us to the ticket machine at the entrance. My husband blindly pressed "salt" without looking at the pictures. I hesitated while looking at the pictures and finally decided on "spicy miso" since it was the same price as regular miso (850 yen). When we handed over our tickets, the staff explained that the spicy miso had different levels of spiciness, ranging from 1 to 4. I chose level 2. The piping hot ramen arrived with a sizzling sound from the pot. The soup was spicy and had a hint of miso flavor. The toppings included boiled cabbage, bamboo shoots, a little bean sprouts, and slightly tender chashu. After trying the spicy soup, my husband finished his meal quickly. I tried his salt broth and found it to have a slightly "gamey" taste. We thanked the staff and left the restaurant. On our way home, my husband commented that the portion was small and the broth wasn't hot enough for him, suggesting that the noodles could have been a bit more flavorful. Perhaps this place is more focused on miso-based ramen. It might be better to change the color of the bowl for a more visually appealing presentation.

I have used this restaurant several times since it opened. It's the former location of Curry no Chikara. Today, I tried the limited edition rich chicken white broth ramen. The service is very fast from ordering to serving! The soup is quite thick and you can't see the noodles. It comes with watercress, soft-boiled egg, chashu, green onions, curly noodles. It's delicious and rich. My husband ordered level 2 spicy miso with extra chashu. He was coughing a lot from the spiciness! It seems to be very spicy!

Opened in April. You buy a meal ticket from a ticket vending machine at the former Ramen Daihou Curry no Chikara location. The menu includes soy sauce, salt, miso, and spicy miso ramen, as well as a limited menu option of spicy miso level 2 (you can choose from levels 1, 2, or 3) with vegetable toppings. It's not just spicy, but you can also taste sweetness and umami. I had the salt ramen with an egg topping, which was incredibly delicious. It's not your typical pork bone-based ramen, but rather a complex and flavorful dish. The noodles vary for each type of ramen, with the spicy miso having yellow medium-thick curly noodles and the salt ramen having thin curly noodles. The place has definitely evolved since its opening. You can feel the owner's sense of style in every bowl. I will definitely be back.

"Menya Ranshatai" We had a weekend with bad weather and couldn't do anything, so we were wondering what to do since Friday. In the end, the two of us decided to go to a hot spring because the weather was bad and the temperature was low. We thought about having lunch at Akanko, but ended up finding three places in Bihoro and it was already 20 minutes before opening. We decided to stop by a new ramen shop called "Ranshatai." I had trouble deciding what to eat, someone wrote that the miso ramen was delicious, but my wife said the miso in the photo didn't look tasty. I was torn about what to order. I ended up choosing the spicy miso, while my wife wanted to push the button for soy sauce ramen, despite me saying I wanted salt ramen. It cost 850 yen for mine and 800 yen for hers. The shop had 5 counter seats, 2 table seats in the front, and 2 table seats in the back. We sat at a table in the back. The radio was playing with a male and two female voices. The ramen came in 5 minutes and there was a smell of bean sprouts. My wife commented that it was good because they removed the beard. The noodles looked very white in the photo, and my wife mentioned that they were homemade noodles. When I slurped the noodles, there was a strange taste, maybe because of the bean sprouts. The spicy miso ramen had yellow noodles, which I found out were from Sapporo. The spiciness came from the miso and the soup had a thick texture. The cabbage was crunchy, and the soup was flavorful and delicious. My wife, who is more sensitive to spiciness than me, said it wasn't spicy. The chashu was too soft, almost disgustingly so, and I couldn't finish it. The menma seemed to be the culprit for the strange taste. The salt ramen didn't seem to match the soup, and the menma was off. The soup had a strange taste throughout, and it was hard to pinpoint what it was. My wife compared it to "Houryu" ramen, with the spicy miso scoring 3.3 and the salt ramen scoring 2.9. The broth was just strange, maybe there was seafood in it. It was a dish of dissonance. The harmony, balance, and compatibility were off. The chashu had a gamey smell, the noodles had an odd texture, and the menma was not good. The soup had a strange taste. Despite that, the service was excellent. They even came to ask about the egg and thanked us as we left. My wife saw them bowing outside the counter, showing their dedication.

I finished my errands in Bihoro and searched for a ramen shop on Tabelog. While running towards a different ramen shop, I spotted a ramen shop that was not listed on Tabelog. It's been so long that I can't be sure, but I think there used to be a different ramen shop here before. Change of plans. I parked my car in the gravel parking lot next to the shop and went inside. The exterior looks old but the interior has been renovated and is clean. As soon as you enter, there is a ticket machine on the right. The ramen menu only includes miso, shoyu, and salt flavors. I ordered the shoyu ramen with extra chashu. There are counter seats on the left as you enter, tables on the right, a raised seating area in the back right, and maybe tables in the back left? I entered the shop right after it opened, but there were already two other groups of customers. This looks promising. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my ramen arrived. The chashu looked cold at first glance. I took a sip of the soup... it had a unique flavor, a light taste with a different dashi. I didn't dislike it. The noodles were medium-thin with not much wheat flavor. The chashu was thick pork belly, slightly salty, and yes, cold. Maybe I had too high expectations. Thanks for the meal.

It is spicier than Hakata Red and Hakata Black, with a seafood flavor and a delicious taste similar to chili oil. Can't stop sweating. LOL

Oh, it's amazing. I can't understand why anyone would complain about this performance. The Nokogiri Chicken Pie Tan (can't convert for some reason lol) is a limited-time menu item. Try it with the seaweed topping first, because it's incredibly delicious.

I tried miso ramen at this new restaurant for the first time. The light soup seemed a bit thin at first, but towards the end, I could taste its richness. However, I felt it needed a little more punch. Thank you for the meal.
