Had lunch at "Robata Banya" in Odainuma. I heard they also serve lunch, so I decided to visit. Parked my car in the front parking lot, entered through the curtain, and sat at the counter in the middle of the store to look at the menu. I ordered the "Soy Sauce Chashu Ramen." In less than 10 minutes, the ramen was served. It looked like a simple ramen with a dark and salty-looking soup. I took a sip of the soup... it was thin and lacked any depth of flavor. The noodles were thin, typical of Eastern Hokkaido, but overcooked and quite soft. The chashu was dry and flavorless, with 5 slices of lean pork. The only other toppings were bamboo shoots and green onions in this simple ramen. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Goodbye.

Visited the restaurant with friends for the third time. Had a light drink. Still thinking about dinner, decided to order the Char Siu Ramen from the menu with a beer. Started eating the ramen before the usual end of the meal. The plan was to eat all the noodles first, then enjoy the Char Siu with the beer. The soup's flavor was surprisingly good, with a nostalgic and gentle taste. The Char Siu was not too fatty, just like the old-fashioned kind, perfect with beer. The food was so delicious that I ended up drinking too much. I have visited this place multiple times and always enjoyed it. Another place I frequent is a normal robatayaki. They serve yakitori, pork skewers, grilled squid, grilled hokke, all cooked over charcoal. The okonomiyaki cooked on the special iron plate next to the charcoal grill is incredibly delicious. When I asked if they could make sushi for a party, the master chef, who used to work at a sushi restaurant, agreed. The sushi was surprisingly delicious, just like from a real sushi restaurant. I usually go alone, but sometimes I bring my family. It's a great place for a meal without alcohol. They offer set meals, ramen, katsudon, etc. My kids love the tsukune, stick gyoza, and okonomiyaki.
