It's been about 10 years since I last visited. The parking lot was empty, so I decided to go in! There were two other customers already inside, so I sat at the counter. The menu was the same as before, and the owner seemed energetic. I used to always order the tonkatsu or hamburger, but this time I went for the tempura bowl. The eggplant and shrimp were delicious and the rice was really good. They have a wide variety of menu options, so I'm already thinking about what to try next. The tempura bowl was 700 yen. After one month of being on a business trip alone and finding no information on local restaurants, I decided to do some research on Tabelog for today's lunch. Even though I was searching for a ramen shop, I was drawn to the delicious-looking images and decided on "Hasegawa"! The location of the restaurant was easy to find, and I arrived without any trouble. According to reviews, the hamburger set with demi-glace sauce was delicious, so I ordered the jumbo hamburger and also decided to get the soy sauce ramen as I originally wanted (lol). I prefer strong flavors, but the ramen had a clear taste with the broth taking the forefront. The chashu was tender. The demi-glace sauce on the jumbo hamburger was a bit lighter than I had imagined, but it was still tasty and I finished it all. The restaurant is managed by a single lady, but the dishes are served efficiently, so the waiting time is relatively short. Next time, I might try the cutlet when I come back.

Sometimes, I crave the tonkatsu from here. I think this is the fourth time. The original sauce on the tonkatsu set looks so good, it seems delicious. This sauce must be demi-glace, but it has a unique flavor that I can't quite describe. It's tasty. However, the meat is a bit tough. Just a bit. It seems like the mother is working hard running the shop by herself. I'd like to try the hamburger or jumbo hamburger someday.

A shop in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, with an old-fashioned look and a Showa-era atmosphere. I was curious about it, but I had the impression that it might be run-down and the menu wouldn't be anything special, so I hesitated to go in (sorry to the people at the shop!). When I finally entered, there was a counter right away, and small raised table seating in the back on the right. The interior was not very spacious. I had the Jumbo Hamburger set. Despite being called jumbo, it didn't seem that big. Maybe around 300 grams. This hamburger and sauce are homemade. The sauce was delicious, light and easy to eat. It's like demi-glace sauce. And the hamburger was soft and tasty. It was so delicious that I finished it in no time. It might be the most delicious hamburger in this area. The landlady was very friendly and talkative. She was chatting with a regular customer at the counter. They also seemed to serve lunch, so it might get crowded because it's so delicious. It's a good shop loved by the locals. I'll definitely go back to eat the hamburger again! Of course, the jumbo one!
