狸ののぐり
The day before, we went to bed at 9:00 PM. In the morning, we woke up at 6:00 AM to find it was raining outside. Despite the rain, the wet trees outside the window looked beautiful. For breakfast, we had the option to choose from 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM, and we chose 7:30 AM. We were the first ones there and were seated at the same table as the day before. A traditional Japanese breakfast set was served on the table, with a variety of small dishes that made us exclaim in amazement. In addition to the set meal, there was also a buffet with salad, drinks, two types of fruits, yogurt, natto, and eggs. We thought we wouldn't be able to finish it all, but we kept eating and ended up enjoying every bite. We finished with orange juice. It was a truly happy experience. We spent about 40 minutes for breakfast. After breakfast, we enjoyed the hot spring, which was equally anticipated. On the first day, the women's bath was a cypress bath with four shower stalls. There was a milky hot spring and a shallow, lukewarm jacuzzi. The next day, the women's bath was a rock bath with three shower stalls. There was an indoor hot spring and an outdoor bath separated by a door and a half-opened curtain. The basket provided for bringing towels from the room was cute and convenient. We spent a total of 18 hours at the inn and paid around 50,000 yen for two people. On our way back, we took the Kappa Liner bus departing at 10:32 AM to Sapporo. The rain had stopped while we were waiting for the bus, so we didn't need an umbrella. You can board the bus without a reservation, but it may be full at times. It is recommended to make a reservation online or by phone before 5:00 PM the day before. Payment was made with a Sapica card and an elderly card. We were both very satisfied with our short trip to Jozankei, which is only an hour away from Sapporo.
