After enjoying a day trip bath at the Kanepirikan Tourist Hotel, we had lunch at the hotel's restaurant "White Town." The menu was limited and it felt more like a "meal venue for group guests." It was a weekday, but there were about 10 group guests and 3 families dining. Please note that the lunch hours are only 2 hours! We had a set of soba noodles and mini pork bowl for 900 yen. The soba noodles were ordinary, something you could make at home, but the pork in the pork bowl was tender and delicious. It's just average, but sometimes you need basic information for lunchtime. Several people had posted pictures of the "Taushubetsu River Bridge," so we decided to check it out from the opposite bank. It was nice to see it in person! We left Sapporo at 8 am, took the highway from Sapporo Minami IC to Onko Tokachi IC, headed towards Kamishihoro, and arrived in Kanepirikan right around lunchtime. We decided to enjoy a day trip bath and lunch at the Kanepirikan Tourist Hotel. The day trip bath at the hotel costs 700 yen, but with the JAF membership card, it's only 500 yen! Don't forget to show it. My father is the driver, so he has the final say in decisions. It's up to me to figure out how to persuade him to go to the places I want to visit. Since it was a weekday at lunchtime, there were hardly any bathers, so I took some photos! There was an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, both with the same hot spring water, but the outdoor bath was incredibly refreshing. The sodium-based water made my skin smooth and the relaxation room after the bath was spacious and clean. The chairs in the hotel lobby were also stylish. The exterior may look old, but the lobby and baths have been nicely renovated and are very pleasant.

I visited the restaurant White Town in the Kojirokan Kankou Hotel for lunch. I was intrigued by the Chef's pasta lunch set using local ingredients. I ordered the Chef's special pasta with basil and chicken tomato sauce, while my companion ordered the ramen set. The ramen was nostalgic and delicious, and the pork bowl was flavorful. My pasta arrived after about 20 minutes, cooked al dente with a gentle tomato sauce and tender chicken. The bread with black soybean and cheese was crispy and nutritious. The German omelette with potatoes was simple and tasty. Overall, the meal was homemade and free from additives. After lunch, I enjoyed a relaxing bath. I recommend combining a meal at the restaurant with a bath for a complete experience. Lunch hours are from 11:30 to 13:30, closed on Wednesdays for pasta lunch. Bathing hours are from 11:30 to 21:00. I did not review the Kojirokan Kankou Hotel separately because the experience may vary between dining only and dining after staying overnight. I learned this after inquiring and have now registered the restaurant separately.
