There was a restaurant called Senzuri, located inside MaxValu store, specializing in take-out fried chicken. They also have yakitori. I really like the fried chicken gizzards, so I have visited a few times. You can order individual skewers or choose from small, medium, or large sizes for fried items. There is no pre-made food, you order, pay, get a number tag, and pick up at a specified time. It usually takes about 10 minutes. During that time, you can browse around MaxValu or do some shopping. The freshly fried chicken is a bit oily but seasoned just right and delicious. I haven't tried it cold, so I don't know, but it's delicious when freshly fried. My child was eating the chicken thigh fried while saying it was delicious even though it was hot. I would like to stop by again when I get a little hungry. The lady at the store is cheerful and energetic.

This is Rumoi... I went shopping at MaxValu and stopped by a takeout specialty store for yakitori and karaage called "Torinoko Rumoi Store." Inside the glass case next to the register, there are packed products lined up. A friendly man in his 30s is running the store alone. If he goes into the back kitchen, he can't make sales, so there is a button next to the case that says "Please press if you need assistance." The products include "chicken skewers, pork skewers, chicken wings, thigh karaage, breast karaage, gizzard karaage, and fluffy potatoes." I bought "3 chicken skewers (with sauce) @450 yen" and paid with PayPay. I'll dig in right away. Compared to other takeout stores commonly seen around Bibai, the size of the items is a bit disappointing. The sweet and savory sauce has a good balance, and while the meat quality is not exceptional, it is still tasty. Even when compared to yakitori takeout stores like "Honoo" and "Nihonichi," it can hold its own in terms of flavor. If you have the chance, I recommend giving it a try again. Thank you for the meal.

Rumoi Series 7th store. I stopped by for an early lunch on a rainy weekday at this takeout specialty shop located inside MaxValu. I ordered the Chicken Smile Bento (690 yen), which comes with fried chicken and chicken nanban. The food is prepared after you order, and they seem to take pride in that. However, there were yakitori displayed in a warming showcase, which seemed ready to go. I decided to drive a bit before eating, as the supermarket parking lot was not very relaxing. The rice portion looked small but was actually a regular size. You can also opt for a large portion for an additional 100 yen, or a special portion for 150 yen. There were two pieces of fried chicken, one breast and one thigh, although it was not clearly specified on the menu. Both were tender but lacked saltiness, perhaps they were dipped in sauce after frying. The spaghetti underneath had absorbed some of the sauce. The chicken tempura tasted great with tartar sauce, and the chicken was thin and tender. The side dishes included coleslaw dressed in Thousand Island dressing, potato salad, and pickles. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I left feeling full, and my car smelled like food afterwards! The store is open from 10:30 to 19:00 (last order at 19:00), and although MaxValu is open 24 hours, this shop closes outside of its operating hours.
