The mango was sweet and had that classic mango taste, while the blood orange added a tangy kick that complemented it perfectly. I've been eating in the restaurant lately, and I've noticed many people getting takeout. A couple sitting nearby even tried a sample and seemed to really enjoy it. As for me, I chatted with the owner while savoring the gelato. It was a truly enjoyable moment.

While chatting with the owner about recent happenings. Opening a shop is always tough, but this time, it must be even more challenging due to the impact of the coronavirus. You must have faced various difficulties. However, this dish is delicious. Isn't it more Italian-like because it's not overly decorated? In the center of Biei, there is a gelato shop with a friendly owner. They offer 10 flavors of gelato, all in natural colors. I couldn't decide which to choose for my double scoop, but I wanted one flavor I like and one with colorful appeal for photos. In the end, I chose "Strawberry Milk with Chocolate Chips" for its refreshing milk and tangy strawberry flavors. The chocolate chips added a nice touch. My companion had "Cacao Mint with Milk," which also had a subtle mint color. The gelato here seems to be mostly milk-based and tasted delicious. I realized that taste is more important than appearance, even though I often prioritize taking Instagram-worthy photos. It was a day of reflection for me.

Oh, it's hot... scorching hot... It looks like today in Biei Town is going to be over 30 degrees. A real summer day. It's rare to have such a hot day in Biei Town. Lucky me. I decided to take a break at Gelateria Felicita. The gelato here is so delicious. I ended up getting 3 cups, all double scoops (lol). It's just too hot. This cold gelato is really hitting the spot. They have a free parking lot next to the shop, so it's convenient. The inside of the shop is nice and cool.

I came to Biei Michi-no-Eki to get a stamp, but it was quite crowded probably due to the start of the long weekend, so I left immediately as it was too crowded. As I was heading to the next Michi-no-Eki, I saw a sign for gelato and decided to stop by. They had 10 flavors that day (milk, salt milk, matcha, black sesame caramel, cocoa mint, cream cheese chocolate, chocolate chip, almond), all of them looked delicious. I decided on a double scoop of cream cheese and almond. The cream cheese flavor was quite creamy with a mild cheese taste, so even those who don't like cheese could enjoy it. On the other hand, the almond flavor was my favorite! It was like if Almond Roca became milky and it was delicious. I want to try the salt milk and black sesame flavors next time. This time, as the title suggests, I ordered two flavors. Caramel was decided first, and I was thinking about what to pair it with, so I chose chocolate because it has a relatively mild finish. There is a bench in front of the shop. I started eating while watching the passing cars. The chocolate flavor is clear, and the caramel flavor harmonizes with the other gelato. There is a hint of nuts as well. It's the peak of summer, the season for gelato. There is a shared parking lot nearby with the neighboring shops, so please stop by when sightseeing.

This time, I ordered the Cocoa Mint Rum Zucca (Zucca = pumpkin), a limited-time ice cream made with local winter pumpkins, with a hint of rum flavor. It has a sophisticated taste. As a fan of cocoa mint, I'm happy with this flavor. It's refreshing and delicious, perfect for winter. The gelato selection remains the same, but they have added a few new items to the menu. I plan to come back regularly.

I took a mini drive around Biei (*^ω^*) After lunch, I was strolling around when I saw a sign for "gelato" ♬︎ It felt just right, you know? Perfect for my mood ♡ Before going into the shop, I resisted the urge to go to the neighboring restaurant for lunch again... haha The staff at the shop had a warm and friendly vibe, even though it was slightly different from a gelato shop. Now... I also wanted to have coffee, but it had to be good coffee... I had already eaten at two places for lunch... haha "Affogato" for 450 yen. Affogato? Affogart? The translation shows "Affogart" but it's fine either way (◦ˉ ˘ ˉ◦) The vanilla wasn't smooth but had a slightly rough texture... It paired nicely with the strong espresso. It was refreshing...♪*゚Bon appétit~♪
