I heard that a new location of Olburger Kyoto opened near the Hankyu Rakusui-guchi Station, just across the signal from the ticket gate, so I decided to check it out. This time, I ordered a double cheeseburger and added all the toppings except for the patty. The juicy egg was delicious. It was a delightful meal. The combination of tanks and hamburgers was a first for me.

(I learned that V points could be used) and I visited a restaurant I've been curious about for a while for the first time. I decided to try the regular hamburger, and it was savory and very delicious! I'm thinking of going for the cheeseburger next time, maybe adding a drink as well. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but I feel satisfied with the taste. The water and cutlery are available in a designated area near the entrance, and it's self-service. ★ This is unrelated to the food, but regarding the staff's service: when I tried to use my V points for payment, there was a bit of a trouble—possibly due to my mistake—and I asked a staff member for help. Despite being very busy, they were kind and provided thorough assistance, which I really appreciated. It was a lovely restaurant that makes me want to visit again. (Note: the issue with the points couldn't be resolved at the restaurant, so I'm currently checking with Tabelog directly.)

I had the opportunity to visit Aeon Mall, and right before that, I stopped by OLU BURGER KYOTO. I was debating whether to take the JR or Hankyu line, but I remembered that the store was directly connected to the Hankyu station, so I chose Hankyu Rakusai-guchi. It's always fun to see new stores popping up each time I visit this area. On that day, I ordered the simple avocado cheeseburger. It wasn't until after I finished eating that I realized I had forgotten to take a photo! Haha. But the highlight of my meal was the French toast! I had seen it on Instagram and was curious about it, and I found out that you can enjoy it at the Rakusai-guchi location too, so I placed an order. They offer a regular size and a half size, and I opted for the half size that day. I already thought their buns were delicious, but it turns out they make them specifically for the French toast! The outside was crispy with a buttery flavor, while the inside was fluffy and seemed almost creamy—though that might be an exaggeration, it was that smooth and tasty. I decided that next time, I would order the burger along with the regular size French toast.

I was looking for a place to treat myself and found an unusual restaurant in this area that accepts Tabelog limited points! There was lively punk music playing (laughs). Through the large windows, I could see tanks from the Katsuura Base (laughs). I ordered an avocado burger with fries and a drink. I think I ordered avocado last time too (laughs). The buns were delicious. While all the ingredients were tasty, I felt that the buns really enhanced my satisfaction. As a side note, while I was having lunch, a vegetable supplier came in to make a delivery, and I noticed they had a box of beautiful tomatoes, which made me think they must source from a good supplier (laughs). It was lunch hour, but the place was surprisingly empty. I think it's a great view for fans of the Self-Defense Forces or tanks.

I suddenly craved a hamburger and worked through the Obon holiday without a break, so I decided to treat myself by visiting Ol Burger in the neighboring town instead of McDonald's. I ordered a cheeseburger with a drink and fries, and my drink was ginger ale. However, when the ginger ale arrived, I thought, "Huh? This tastes a bit weak?" I've always enjoyed their ginger ale at both the main store and the Umekoji store, but this time it just wasn't good. The hamburger and fries were consistently delicious, but the burger was a bit too salty, I think. Since it’s summer and I was sweating, it wasn't extremely salty, but it was noticeable. I had some errands to run at Aeon Mall Katsura near Katsuragawa Station, so I thought about grabbing something to eat at the food court. But while searching on Tabelog, I discovered OLU BURGER KYOTO! Since it was only about a five-minute walk away, I decided to check it out. The burgers at OLU BURGER are only available for dinner, but when I arrived at around 2 PM, there were some customers inside. I asked if it was possible to order a burger since I was the only one and it would take time to prepare. To my delight, they kindly agreed if I could wait for a bit. I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate me despite being busy. I ordered a set that included French fries and a cola, and while waiting for my burger, I enjoyed my drink. I expected to wait a while, but my burger was ready in about 10 minutes. The burger was incredibly satisfying, with the meat having an amazing texture and a rich flavor! The deliciousness of the meat combined beautifully with the teriyaki sauce, creating a perfect harmony. It was absolutely the best!

I enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger. I took a big bite to fully savor the juicy flavor! Eating it like this is definitely the best way to enjoy it. The patty made from 100% Kyoto beef and the homemade bun are truly delicious. The atmosphere is also pleasant, making it a great spot for a café visit. I plan to go back next time to try the limited edition burger.

The Rakusaiguchi branch opened last December! It's finally the third location in Kyoto✨️ I’m so happy to see my favorite burger shop expand in Kyoto! As always, I find myself struggling to choose from the wide range of menu options, haha. I'm not good with spicy food, but when I asked the staff, they recommended the spicy cheese burger, saying it's tomato-based and not too spicy. I decided to give it a try! It had a nice creaminess from the cheese and was really easy to eat, offering a punchy flavor from the spices without overwhelming heat. It was incredibly delicious! The restaurant itself is very spacious, and there are outdoor seating options, which will be nice to enjoy when it cools down. It's conveniently located just a short walk from Hankyu Rakusaiguchi and about a 10-minute drive from Aeon Mall Kyoto Katsuragawa. I’ll definitely be back!✨️

I had some points that were about to expire, so I decided to go to a restaurant that I found expensive and difficult to visit. I made a reservation and went to the counter to place my order and pay. When it came time to settle the bill, I used some different points, effectively making it free. The hand towels, water, and paper to wrap the burger were all self-service. I didn't use a knife or fork; I just bit right into it. This was a cheeseburger. The bun was crispy on the outside, and the patty, along with the tomato, was juicy and thick, making it a bit challenging to eat, but the balance of flavors was superb, and I devoured it nonstop. It was delicious. I also managed to capture a photo of "Tanks and Burgers"!

A new restaurant has opened just a minute's walk from the ticket gates at Hankyu Rakusaiguchi Station. It's a burger shop specializing in 100% Wagyu beef, with its main store located in Kojinguchi. While you can't smoke inside, the burgers are so delicious that it doesn't matter. I believe it's a fantastic place to enjoy the rich flavor of Wagyu beef. Plus, there's a smoking area at a nearby convenience store, so it's not an issue.

I entered the restaurant because I was told that I could use a half-price coupon for French fries, but I was informed that the coupon couldn't be used unless it was part of a set. The coupon clearly stated "French fries," so I was puzzled. I reluctantly ordered the French fries without the coupon, but they cost 450 yen for such a small portion. I couldn't help but laugh at how little food I received.

It was a store located under an elevated track, but the interior was bright and stylish. I had the monthly burger (avocado and mozzarella) along with a salad set. You can even specify the doneness of the patty, and I usually go for medium-rare. Next time, I think I'll try the fries too. Thank you for the meal!

While taking a walk, I passed by a restaurant that looked like it could fit me in during lunchtime, so I decided to give it a try. I got a seat, ordered at the counter, and then waited after grabbing a few items from the self-service area. The self-service section had everything from water and napkins to burger bags and ketchup. My order came out relatively quickly, and I was pleased to find the patty was thick and juicy, and the bun was really tasty as well. Since individual items cost over 1000 yen, I thought it was a bit pricey for that location, but the food was delicious, so I felt satisfied. I honestly think it's a bit expensive to go back often, though... It would be great if a set meal could be around 1500 yen.

Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing to do is secure a seat and then browse the menu at your leisure. Once you decide on your order, you place it at the counter. Looking at the menu, there is a wide variety of burger options, making it quite difficult to choose. However, I decided to try the "WASABI AVOCADO BURGER" (1,430 yen) from the TRADITIONAL BURGER section, which I hadn’t had at other places, and added "French fries and a drink" for an additional 500 yen. The burger is stacked with plenty of mayo sauce, avocado, a beef patty, tomato, and lettuce, resulting in a tall and generous portion. The mayo sauce, bursting with flavor, contains wasabi, providing a refreshing and sharp kick that pairs well with the rich mayonnaise. The juicy beef patty, fresh and succulent tomato, creamy avocado, and crisp lettuce combine beautifully, creating a blissful experience. The French fries are long and have a light, crispy texture that complements the burger nicely. The spiciness and flavor of the wasabi harmonize perfectly with the beef patty, resulting in a delicious burger that beautifully fuses Japanese and Western flavors.

It is a high-end hamburger restaurant located within the N7 area of auT Hankyu Rakusai-guchi, in front of the Katsu Self-Defense Forces. The interior has only table seating, and orders are placed at the counter. The restaurant has just opened, so it is very clean.

I had been curious about Olburger, which opened in front of Rakusai-guchi Station at the end of last year, so I decided to visit. I arrived around 11:15, and the restaurant was quite empty, with only one other customer inside. The staff recommended the double cheeseburger, but I opted for the cheeseburger instead. They mentioned it would take about five minutes to prepare. The price was ¥1,188, and after considering overall satisfaction, I would rate it a 2.5 out of 5.
