Feeling unwell but still went out for drinks with friends. While exploring the area, stumbled upon a shop with congratulatory flowers on display, possibly a new establishment. Noticed that the flowers were a gift from a renowned local izakaya, sparking curiosity. Took a chance and visited the shop. Started with a toast with beer served in elegant small glasses. The menu mainly consisted of heavier Chinese dishes, lacking lighter options like edamame or cold tofu. The kitchen and the dining area were run by just two people. Ordered dishes like shrimp chili, braised pork, egg omelette, and mapo tofu. All had authentic flavors, with the mapo tofu being a favorite! The egg omelette was also delicious, not too sweet and rich in flavor. The seasoning was not overly sweet, which suited my taste perfectly. The prices were a bit on the higher side for the authentic Chinese cuisine offered. The restroom was clean and stylish, which was a plus. Couldn't stay long this time, but looking forward to returning with a bigger appetite to savor the dishes slowly. Wanted to share photos for my first review but couldn't get permission due to a busy event. Hopefully, I can share pictures of beautifully presented braised pork and tasty mapo tofu next time.
