Located in Nishino area, along Kitachi 1-jo and Miyanosawa-dori, this restaurant has parking spaces around the building. As the name suggests, it is a collaboration between Shishiou and BONANZA. I used to love the tantanmen from Shishiou in Susukino, so I am thrilled to be able to eat it here again. The interior is a cafe-style with counter and table seats. First, you purchase your meal ticket from the machine. They offer tantanmen with soup and without soup in white and black, as well as curry options like rich beef tendon curry, chicken curry, and domestic pork cutlet curry. This time, I ordered the "Tantanmen & Mini Curry Set (1,450 yen)" with medium spicy white tantanmen. The white tantanmen had a very mild soup with decent spiciness, but the numbness was mild, making it very delicious for someone like me who isn't good with numbness. The soup was full of umami that became more apparent as I ate, making it really tasty. It had been a while since I last had it, but I could truly appreciate its deliciousness, and I ended up finishing the soup as well. The set curry was also flavorful and had a good amount, almost not feeling like a mini, and it tasted like Pakistani curry, which was good, but personally, I preferred the tantanmen. The tantanmen alone costs 950 yen, so the price may feel a bit high, but it is easy to eat, making it a recommended choice even for those who don't like numbness.

It seems to be a collaboration between a ramen shop and a curry restaurant. Both are famous shops, but I didn't know about them until now due to my lack of knowledge. As a fan of tantanmen and curry, this is like a dream come true for me. I read reviews in advance and decided to order the tantanmen and small curry set from the ticket machine. Since it was my first visit, I chose the set instead of ordering tantanmen or curry separately. The friendly staff told me that I could change the tantanmen to soup-less for an additional 50 yen, so I did. I also chose the cold option. I also ordered a mini rice (to eat with the leftover sauce from the tantanmen). The soup-less tantanmen had a mild flavor without much spiciness or numbness. For those who find it lacking, you can adjust the flavor with the spices on the table. I felt it was a bit lacking, so I tried to adjust the flavor with vinegar and ended up putting too much, so I couldn't taste the exact flavor. The curry was a dry curry with a mild spiciness. It was also easy to eat without feeling too much spiciness. If I had to choose between the two to eat separately, I would choose the curry. I wanted to try it as a main dish since I ordered a small curry this time. It may be a bit lacking for those who want to feel the spiciness or numbness, but you can adjust it with the condiments on the table. I enjoyed the meal! Thank you.

I revisited the restaurant. The curry was definitely tastier than the tantanmen. My son preferred the katsu curry because it was more filling. Should I come here for curry or cold noodles? It was a bit disappointing that the tantanmen specialty shop had slightly disappointing tantanmen.

Last time, the tantanmen in white sauce was not well-received, so we decided to try the black sauce this time. My wife chose the cold tantanmen which allows for choosing the level of spiciness. The winner was the cold tantanmen. The black sauce was better than the white one. However, it was unclear why they served the tantanmen with a beaten egg on top. It didn't feel like a typical tantanmen dish. The visual presentation looked really delicious, but something was off. The mini curry that came with the set was tasty, with a chicken-based dry curry flavor. My wife said she would choose curry over tantanmen next time.

I was lured by the attractive menu combinations and visited the restaurant. The variety of curries and tantanmen options made it hard to decide. The chicken and mackerel curry had a mild flavor with a subtle spice, making it easy to eat. The beef tendon and chicken curry was rich and satisfying, but I felt like it needed a bit more balance overall. The two types of curry pairings allowed me to enjoy a variety of flavors, which was nice. The rich beef tendon and chicken curry had a good flavor with the central egg and keema-like curry adding a nice touch. Mixing it all together made for a good balance. The soup-less tantanmen had a bland taste overall, lacking in sesame and spiciness, which wasn't my preferred type. While nothing stood out, I thought it was a good option when craving noodles and curry.

This is a new restaurant in Nishi-ku, Sapporo, that opened last year, specializing in tantanmen and dry curry. It's a bit far from the station, but it has a large parking lot so it's easy to access. They offer tantanmen in black, white, and soupless variations. They also have a set menu with tantanmen and dry curry. I ordered the tantanmen black and dry curry set. The tantanmen was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. The curry was very tender with a thick and rich flavor, as expected from dry curry. While there are famous places in Sapporo for dry curry and Pakistani curry, I don't think this restaurant's flavors can quite compare, but considering the convenience and accessibility, I think this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a ticket machine. With the assistance of a friendly staff member, I was able to compare the regular menu and the limited menu on the side and make my selection. I was also able to pay using PayPay. I chose the tantanmen and mini curry set. The tantanmen comes in two varieties, a mild white one and a garlic black one, and I chose the black one. For the curry, I chose the medium spicy option. There is also a topping of extra spicy available. The restaurant has a second floor as well, where families are guided to. The food took a little while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The presentation was beautiful. The meal included carrot salad and cabbage pickles, which was a nice touch for female customers. I was instructed to mix the meat miso well before eating, and when I did, the flavors blended perfectly, creating a spicy and sharp tantanmen reminiscent of curry. It was a unique and delicious dish. I enjoyed the curry as well, so I plan to try the soupless dipping noodles next time. The limited menu also included mackerel curry and curry with an additional side dish. The female staff member who assisted me with the menu selection was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. I had the black tantanmen with medium spiciness. The rich soup had a nice aroma of sesame and garlic, and tasted delicious. The noodles were also firm and tasty. The spiciness was not very strong, maybe due to the medium level. The staff recommended adding Tabasco for a flavor change, which made it sour and spicy, but it may vary depending on personal preference. The atmosphere of the place is stylish and nice.

Suddenly, when I was a child, I loved the TV anime "Mazinger Z" and "Devilman". The heroes from different shows came together in a luxurious collaboration in the movie "Mazinger Z vs Devilman" that was released at the Toei Manga Festival. The situation of different characters from different works coming together excited my childhood heart. This sharing of characters and stories from different works is called a "crossover work". A restaurant that brings this excitement to life with a "food crossover work" of "ramen" and "curry" is "Tantanmen Shishiou x Curry BONANZA". The "Tantanmen Shishiou Main Store" is a sister store of "Ramen Shishiou" and opened in Susukino, Sapporo in 2019. On the other hand, "Rue & Soup Curry Bonanza" is a popular curry restaurant that opened in 2017 on Fighters Street in Higashi Ward, Sapporo. These popular ramen and curry shops have teamed up to create the restaurant we are visiting today. The operation is handled by WINST Co., Ltd., which operates "Tantanmen Shishiou", and relocated from Susukino to Nishi Ward, Nishino in May 2022. The restaurant is located at 3-2 Nishi 3-jo, Sapporo. It is a roadside store along Kita 1-jo, Miyanosawa Street, on the left side towards Sapporo. There are 8 parking spaces available in front of and next to the store. I entered the store at 2 pm. Since it had just opened, the inside of the store was clean. The staff's hospitality was also excellent. I checked the menu on the ticket machine. There are 4 types of tantanmen and 2 types of curry on the menu. [Tantanmen] 1. Tantanmen Black (a type with a strong garlic flavor) 2. Tantanmen White (with white sesame and salt sauce, suitable for those who are not good with spicy food) 3. Soupless Tantanmen 4. Soupless Curry Tantanmen [Curry] 1. Beef tendon and chicken stew curry 2. Cutlet curry There is also a set menu of tantanmen and mini curry. In addition, all items come with a free large serving. It was displayed above the ticket machine, but I didn't notice it (TT). Today, I chose the collaboration dish of Shishiou and Bonanza, the "Soupless Curry Tantanmen" for 1,150 yen. It comes with rice and a raw egg. I sat at the counter seat and after about 10 minutes, the dish arrived. The "Soupless Curry Tantanmen" was served in a large black bowl with plenty of minced meat curry, watercress, leeks, red cabbage, cashew nuts, and plenty of sesame seeds. Let's mix the ingredients and soup base, and noodles from the bottom of the plate before eating♪ First, I slurped the noodles. The noodles, coated with curry spices, were chewy and delicious. The noodles are medium-thick and high in water content. They mixed well with the ingredients and tasted great. The collaboration of Shishiou's spicy tantanmen and Bonanza's minced meat curry was a perfect match. Moreover, the original all-purpose spice "OTOUSANSUGOI" from Bonanza blended in creates a new and unique flavor. Add some "Sichuan pepper" from the table. It adds a tingling sensation. Yes, a perfect collaboration of spiciness and tingling sensation♡ Add the "Shishiou special vinegar" for a flavor change. The overall taste becomes mellow and delicious. I finished the noodles in no time. Next, I added extra rice and raw egg, mixed them well with the remaining ingredients, and the "Original Spice Curry Rice" from Shishiou x Bonanza was ready. It was also incredibly delicious♪ Now, let's finish every last grain of rice and enjoy it to the fullest (*´∀`*) Once again, finished eating and drinking everything. Well, I see, the "perfect collaboration of curry x tantanmen, where each other's strengths come together". The Spice Curry Rice was also delicious. The staff's service was excellent, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but as expected from a popular "crossover work" from two renowned restaurants, the pricing is a bit on the higher side. It's more of a place for a casual lunch, so it's worth visiting for a special treat.

"The collaboration between Tantanmen Shishiou and CURRY BONANZA was something I had been curious about for a while. The restaurant is a spacious, modern-looking house with a convenient parking lot for 8 cars. Orders are placed using a ticket vending machine. The menu includes options like Black Tantanmen, White Tantanmen, Soupless Tantanmen, Beef tendon and chicken simmered curry, Domestic pork loin cutlet curry, Curry Tantanmen, Tantanmen set, and Tantanmen mini curry set. I decided to go for the Tantanmen mini curry set priced at 1,450 yen. The Tantanmen I ordered was the medium-spicy Black version. The soup wasn't as thick as it looked, and the balance with the noodles was a bit off. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles. The spiciness and spice level were mild, so I had to adjust with the chili oil on the table. It wasn't bad, but it didn't exceed expectations. The mini curry was a typical dry curry, slightly sweet with a good amount of spices for an authentic taste. However, it was a bit lukewarm, and the rice was cold, which was a bit disappointing. Today, I visited the Tan Tan Men Shishiou x CURRY BONANZA restaurant in Nishino. I arrived almost at the same time as the 11 o'clock opening, but there were already about 4 groups of customers. It seems like this place is quite popular. You purchase your meal ticket at the ticket machine in front of the store. I ordered the recommended Tan Tan (black, slightly spicy) noodles and a mini curry set. The customer who came in after me was told by the staff that "it will take a little time to make." I wonder if the food here takes time to prepare. I was prepared to wait for a while. The food was brought to me in about 10 minutes after ordering. It didn't take as long as I thought, which was good. I tried the Tan Tan noodles first. Unlike any Tan Tan noodles I've had before, the appearance doesn't look like Tan Tan noodles at all, making it hard to tell what I came to eat. Despite its appearance, the soup was very smooth. Although it doesn't taste like typical Tan Tan noodles with sesame flavor, it has a strangely addictive taste. I personally don't like the BONANZA curry flavor much, but when mixed with the Tan Tan noodles, the soup becomes even more delicious. Next time, I'll come back to enjoy the Tan Tan noodles on their own.

I happened to find this shop that caught my interest when I passed by the front of the store. The building used to be Jenco Curry a few years ago, but the interior has changed. You buy a meal ticket before taking a seat. PayPay is accepted. I chose the set of medium spicy Tantan noodles (black) and curry. You can choose between medium spicy and mild for the Tantan noodles. The spiciness of the curry cannot be chosen. There was a wait until the food was served. After a while, the set came out. The Tantan noodles have a flavor of black sesame and a tingling sensation of Sichuan pepper. It is mild in spiciness due to being topped with an egg. My husband had chosen the white Tantan noodles, so we swapped halfway through. The white one had a stronger tingling sensation, but it was also delicious! Both the black and white versions are equally delicious. I also like the curly noodles. The curry seems to be a dry curry or Pakistani curry. The meat fibers are intertwined and solidified like a roux, with a strong spice flavor. Both the Tantan noodles and the curry are must-try items at this shop.

Honest opinion. Wait, is this tantanmen? It's expensive. I wanted to try both of the signature dishes, so I ordered the set with tantanmen and curry. The curry was okay in taste, but for almost 1,500 yen, the portion seemed small. And now, the main dish - the tantanmen! It looked amazing, so I had high expectations, but it didn't taste like tantanmen at all. The rich sesame flavor was lacking. It was more like sesame miso ramen with beaten egg. Not really tantanmen. However, it wasn't bad at all, just not very satisfying. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting something more for over 1,750 yen. My son, who had the curry tantanmen, said it was delicious like mixed noodles, but I probably won't be coming back. If that's the case, it's better to go to S Island for diagonally-cut pork with a mountain of toppings and add mini simmered pork curry. It does come with a small serving of rice as well, so it might be the best value.

I had some free time after a work appointment was suddenly postponed, so I decided to look for a place to have lunch. I remembered about a collaboration restaurant between Shishiou and Bonanza that I had heard about, and since I had a good impression from a previous visit nearby, I decided to check it out this time. I parked my car in the restaurant's parking lot and went inside. I bought a ticket from the machine and the staff recommended the Dan Dan noodles and mini curry set. For the Dan Dan noodles, you could choose between white and black, and I chose black. You could also choose the level of spiciness, and I went with medium this time. The Dan Dan noodles (black) had a nice sesame aroma that was appetizing. The soup had a rich flavor from pork bones and chicken bones, with the sesame adding a nice touch. However, even though I chose medium spiciness, it felt a bit weak. The addition of eggs and nuts seemed a bit off, not quite complementing the dish well. The noodles were medium-thick curly egg noodles, and the toppings included ground meat, wood ear mushrooms, and green onions. The mini curry was a waterless curry with a hint of achar. It was a flavorful curry with tender chicken meat, although the rice was a bit clumpy and cold, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the meal was delicious with some minor flaws. I would still consider visiting again in the future.

I wanted to go to Shishiou at night in Susukino, but I never had the chance haha. So, I decided to visit this place because I heard that you can also enjoy Bonanza curry here (Bonanza is super close to where I live haha). I went for lunch! - Tan Tan Men Kuro (extra spicy) with mini curry When the Tan Tan Men arrived, I was surprised haha. The noodles were yellowish and had a familiar Sapporo style, like chijire tamago noodles. I thought to myself, "So this is the type of Tan Tan Men they have..." because I had only tried it at Deno before haha. It had ingredients like minced meat and wood ear mushrooms, giving it a feeling of a final meal. Also, I chose extra spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all haha. There was a slight tingling sensation (I added some Sichuan pepper), but really not spicy at all haha. Maybe it would have been milder if I had chosen the white one...? It felt more like Stamina Ramen than Tan Tan Men. As for the curry, I have tried it at the original Bonanza store before, so I hoped it would be different. But it seemed to be the same. Also, the rice was dry and not warm, giving it a leftover feeling, which was a bit strange (probably just a one-time thing though). Hmm, I feel like I need to try other Tan Tan Men to compare. I love Bonanza's curry the most in the Rukare area, so I was quite shocked when their sister store in Zenihama closed. I was looking forward to the opening of Nishino's shop. I arrived about 5 minutes after opening time. Managed to snag the last parking spot. I ordered the rich beef tendon and chicken stew curry at the ticket machine (1150 yen). The spiciness level was a choice between medium and hot. When the lady taking my ticket asked, I chose hot. I wanted to try the curry first, so I'll have the tantan noodles next time. Sorry Shishiou. It was crowded, but the curry arrived in about 10 minutes. Oh yeah, I hadn't eaten it in a while, so my memory was a bit fuzzy, but it looked like this, right? The curry with fibrous meat and spices sprinkled throughout, bringing it close to a spice curry. Mix everything together with the rice, keema curry, and side dishes on top. It's still delicious. The umami and spice flavors are spot on. The sensation of various flavors spreading in your mouth is irresistible. I didn't have it this time, but the combination with tantan noodles is definitely delicious. Also, for personal reasons, I'm happy that it's closer than going to the main store in Higashi Ward. I'll definitely be back, thank you for the meal!

Just tried the collaboration menu curry tantanmen at a newly opened restaurant!! It's a Lion King-style tantanmen with curry spice and keema curry added, creating a rich and chewy noodle dish that's full of flavor. It's so rich that you'll definitely crave rice to go with it... I managed to restrain myself to just one bite of the accompanying rice, and finished the noodles. Then I mixed the rice and egg yolk together for a second round of enjoyment. This dish is so delicious, it's bound to become popular. I can't wait to come back and try the black tantanmen and mini curry set next time to break a sweat. Thank you for the meal ☺️.

Hopefully, this will help increase their traffic. By chance, a friend asked the staff here about the opening date, so I decided to come. The interior of the restaurant is quite stylish. There are 6 counter seats and a second floor, but I skipped that because it seemed like too much trouble. Now, onto the food: I had the Curry Tantanmen for 1,150 yen. The soup amount is low, so when mixed, it felt more like Abura Soba. The meat curry, similar to the meat miso often used in ramen, was delicious! No, it was deliciously spicy (*^^*) Mixing the meat curry and eating it, it was a hit for a curry lover like me. After finishing the noodles, I dumped rice, mixed in an egg yolk, and it was so tasty, like a perfect finish! And my stomach was full (^-^) Not related to taste, but the chairs (benches) are too high to eat comfortably (^^ゞ Uncomfortable to sit on (^^ゞ I had to hold the bowl while eating (^_^;) Also, the cost performance is poor, maybe due to the pandemic and the situation in Russia... I wish they could improve that a bit (^^ゞ

I visited the reception of Tantanmen Shishiou x Curry BONANZA! Both are my favorite shops collaborating, so I was excited to visit. I was torn between which one to eat, but lo and behold! They had a set with Tantanmen and mini curry! This time, I ordered the punchy white Tantanmen and mini curry set. Orders are made through a ticket machine, then you are guided to your seat. The food was served in 6-7 minutes. The Tantanmen and curry set looked satisfying from the start. The Tantanmen had a salt base with meat miso, beaten egg, Sichuan pepper, cashew nuts, green onions, and watercress, making it mild yet flavorful, and the noodles slid down smoothly. Delicious! And the curry was exceptional too! The curry, cooked thoroughly, was rich with the flavors of meat, vegetables, and fruits, making it very rich and the rice was just so easy to eat. I wanted to have a full portion by myself! Both dishes had high-quality flavors and I was extremely satisfied. Definitely going back again! Thank you for the meal!
