Jolly Pasta is a pasta specialty restaurant known for its delicious spaghetti and pizza. I was invited by my family to try it out after seeing it on TV. We visited on a Friday at 7 pm, and the parking lot was about 60% full, which made me feel a bit uneasy. The interior of the restaurant was typical of a family restaurant, and the student-like staff members were doing their best to serve customers according to the manual. I was surprised by the affordability of the menu items, but that also made me doubt the quality. We ordered the following items using the tabletop tablet: 1) Basic meat sauce, 2) Cold Capellini with roast beef and asparagus in sukiyaki style, 3) Salad and drink bar set, 4) Pizza and drink bar set. The water and oshibori (hot towel) were self-service. The glasses were not very clear, but I managed to get some water. The salad arrived quickly, but the lettuce was not crispy. The dressing was too strong. Next came the pizza, which was very thin with a weak taste of sauce and cheese. The serving plate was wet, so I had to wipe it with a paper napkin. The meat sauce arrived next, but the plate was greasy and the pasta stuck to my teeth. It felt like the pasta was undercooked or cooked in insufficient water. The meat sauce was also lacking in flavor and aroma. Finally, the Cold Capellini with roast beef and asparagus arrived, but it looked nothing like the menu photo. Pouring the dashi made it visually appealing, but the taste and texture were disappointing. I could see the kitchen from the payment counter, where one man was cooking and four women were managing the restaurant. They should pay more attention to using fresh lettuce, cooking pasta properly, keeping dishes and glasses clean, and checking the drink bar machine before opening. Overall, it was an average experience. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Jolly Pasta in Hassamu for the first time in 2 years. Something different this time was that we placed our order using a tablet at our table. They were having a summer fair featuring cold pasta dishes. I ordered the luxurious sea urchin and seafood cream pasta, Caesar salad, and Margherita pizza. The pasta had plenty of sea urchin and a generous amount of seafood, making it delicious and refreshing. You could also enjoy changing the taste by adding wasabi and soy sauce on the side.

Today for lunch, I went to Jolly Pasta. There was plenty of parking space available. It was quite crowded around 11:30 on a weekday, but I managed to get in at the right time as by 12 o'clock there was a line forming. They had a variety of drinks at the drink bar, from Oolong tea to Chardonnay sparkling wine, and various types of black tea. I ordered the spicy mentaiko cream pasta, the large portion of carbonara, the hamburger doria, and the spicy seafood fettuccine. For dessert, I had white peach pudding and tiramisu. The pudding was firm and the tiramisu was soft, but both were delicious. The dishes were cute, so I took some pictures.

I stopped by for lunch at GW. I was originally aiming for a different restaurant, but it was temporarily closed, which was disappointing. However, this was my first time visiting this place. I had tried to come before, but the parking lot was full so I couldn't get in. This time, it was after 2 pm, and although there were a few groups waiting, we were seated in just a few minutes. While waiting for my pasta to be ready and as a side to my beer, I enjoyed an antipasto. Soon after, a vegetable-filled Genovese pasta arrived. I had a second glass of white wine while enjoying it. It was delicious.

Sunday. My friend and I only have weekends off, so we arrived just 2 minutes before the restaurant opened. There were already about 3 groups lined up, impressive. The lunch menu is only available on weekdays, so we ordered from the regular menu. I wanted to eat lots of vegetables, so I chose the Genovese pasta with plenty of vegetables. It cost over 1000 yen. I also used a coupon for the drink bar. While at the drink bar, more customers kept coming in one after another. It took about 15 minutes because it was busy. The Genovese flavor was not very strong, more like a Genovese-inspired dish. It definitely had lots of vegetables, including steamed vegetables like potatoes and cauliflower, which was unique. It had a bit of a frozen feel to it. The pasta was cooked just right. Considering the price, it's better to go for the weekday lunch. By the time we were at our second round at the drink bar, the restaurant was full and there was a line forming. I felt sorry for taking up space, so we left earlier than usual. It seems like the restaurant is busy on days off. Thank you for the meal. I'll go on weekdays (^^)

I think it might be my first time eating at a restaurant in Sapporo. There are two of us and we don't have much time to go around because we don't know when we'll be called. So our options are limited. We decided to have lunch at Jolly Pasta. I don't mind, it's not a time to be picky and it's not crowded at this time. We had the daily pasta lunch special which was bacon and spinach with Parmesan cheese cream sauce pasta for 748 yen, with a side salad for 198 yen. The soup bar is free but I didn't bother getting any. It's my first time eating at a restaurant, right? The salad was okay but the dressing was delicious, maybe it was Italian dressing? I didn't have much of it, mostly my companion had it, but I ordered it, didn't I? The soup was onion soup, gentle and lightly flavored, quite tasty. The pasta took about 20 minutes. It was quite filling! The cream sauce was light and the cheese added richness to it. I don't usually eat cream sauce pasta much, I prefer the squid ink or mentaiko pasta I had as takeout before. This was my first time eating inside the restaurant, but I think Jolly Pasta is good enough for takeout. Not that it's lacking, but the taste doesn't diminish when taken out, so I'd rather have it at home with wine.

On a certain weekday during the holiday season, I bookmarked a pasta restaurant near AEON Hakodate store for lunch. The parking lot seemed to have enough space for cars. The interior of the restaurant was a bit smaller than your average family restaurant, with table seating that could feel a bit cramped when full. Italian music was playing in the background. From the menu, the variety of options was impressive, making it hard to decide. I finally chose a "Vongole Bianco (924 yen)" which I wouldn't normally go for. When it arrived, I thought it might not look as good as I expected. But after taking a bite... hmm, I see. The noodles were of average thickness and perfectly cooked. The seasoning had a good amount of olive oil, with clams as the base. It had a decent amount of saltiness and a flavorful broth that matched my mood today. There were plenty of clams in the dish, more than expected, and I left the chili peppers untouched. Overall, it seemed like a place where you can try various types of pasta. Thank you for the meal.

This place offers great weekday lunch deals with daily pasta specials to choose from. I ordered the spicy soy sauce scallop and broccoli pasta with extra servings for 1,170 yen plus tax. The soup bar had tasty bacon onion soup. Although the scallops and broccoli were a bit scarce, the pasta was satisfyingly spicy with chili peppers. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited before 7:00 PM on a weekday and the restaurant was empty. I chose the Creamy Bolognese which looked delicious on a TV show. It had a lot of cheese and the taste was good, but the noodles were too thin. It would have been better with thicker noodles.

This is a pasta restaurant near Hassamu Ion, seems to be part of the Zensho group. They have a wide variety of pasta dishes, as well as pizzas and side dishes. I ordered the Porcini Carbonara from the seasonal pasta menu. The flavor of porcini mushrooms combined with the richness of carbonara was delicious. It's great that you can order small size pizzas starting from 300 yen. The Chardonnay, Cabernet, and coffee from the drink bar were also delicious.

I often enjoy pasta menus at this restaurant, especially spaghetti and seasonal limited editions like sea urchin or seafood pasta. Among family restaurant chains, I think pasta is exceptional and pizza is delicious. There are a variety of drinks available, and you can even create your own original drink. The coffee is also tasty, so I end up getting refills multiple times.

Sapporo, which has not yet fully recovered from the state of emergency declaration (early June 2021). I visited here. It was past 1:00 pm when I arrived, and the parking lot was full, but I managed to slip into the last spot available. Last time, I tried the most popular dish, Tomato Mozzarella, at Jolly Pasta in Obihiro. Today, I stopped by before heading to the nearby Aeon Hassamu Shopping Center. There were 4 groups waiting to enter. While pondering what to order, I waited for my turn. In Obihiro, I had a tomato-based dish, so today I decided to go for something without tomatoes... Carbonara it is. After ordering, I waited for a while. The dish arrived. I took a bite with my fork, swirling it around. It was piping hot. Hmm? I couldn't taste much cheese. The creamy texture was rich, but the flavor seemed lacking...? The texture of the noodles was just right, perfectly "al dente." Let's give it a try...? Maybe a bit more egg and cheese components could be added to make it better... I added plenty of Parmesan cheese from the table. Oh, that's better...! As I continued eating, a sufficiently strong cheese flavor emerged, making me feel a bit relieved. Maybe it wasn't mixed well? When it comes to pasta, in my living area, it's between this place and "Chirorin Mura" and "Gogomono"... For now, "Chirorin Mura" is slightly ahead. But I think I will visit this place again. I haven't tried their pizza yet...! There are still many types of pasta dishes that I haven't tried here. Especially oil-based ones, like a spicy pepperoncino... This place is actually a chain store of Zensho. Compared to beef bowls, pasta dishes require more complex operations, and there are also many side dishes and drinks to order...

During lunchtime, you can add a lunch salad for an additional 198 yen, or a lunch salad with a drink bar for an additional 319 yen. I added the salad and drink bar. You can also have unlimited refills of soup. On this day, they had "Cheese-flavored Egg Soup". The salad comes first, and it is crunchy and refreshing. - Mozzarella Tomato for 913 yen: Tomato sauce with garlic and chili, topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese. - Hearty Beef Bolognese for 979 yen: Authentic Bolognese pasta with large chunks of ground beef. The drink bar has a wide variety of options, including espresso coffee.

I used to think that pasta was something to eat at home! There were so many customers!! I left my son inside the restaurant and waited in the car. It's so crowded, it's almost like they don't know about COVID... It's a bit off-putting (>_<) There's a drink bar too, but I'll pass. My family ordered different dishes to taste test! I get tired of cheese and cream dishes after eating about half... But it was delicious, and I thought, "I can't eat this at home!" If they spaced out the customers a bit more, it would be better...

I went to Jolly Pasta next to Hakkun Ion. It's been a while since I've been to a family restaurant. I had the drink bar, salad set, Margherita pizza, Hokkaido scallop with lemon cream sauce, and Japanese-style bonito butter soy sauce pasta. The scallop pasta was full of scallops with a refreshing mozzarella and cream sauce. The Japanese-style bonito pasta had plenty of clams that paired well with the soy sauce flavor and had a nice al dente texture. The Margherita pizza had a thin crust and was so delicious that I could eat as many slices as I wanted. The cappuccino from the drink bar was creamy and fluffy, and I ended up drinking three cups. For dessert, I had a selection of five dolce items: tiramisu, cheesecake, panna cotta, gâteau au chocolat, and gelato, all of which were of a high quality comparable to a real Italian restaurant.

I had been looking forward to the opening of a new restaurant in Hassamu. It was a bit far since there was only one in Honcho! However, it always seemed crowded, so I couldn't visit. One day, I had some free time in the morning, so I decided to visit and was able to get in easily. I ordered two pasta dishes, both of which were great! Above all, I think the cost performance is good. I now understand why it's always crowded. They also offer takeout, so I'll try that next time!

This is my second time, but it's my first time at night. I was really thirsty after work. The drink bar is only 99 yen with a coupon from the app. I had some errands at the mall, but the parking lot was crowded, so I decided to grab a bite and hydrate at this restaurant across the street. It's probably busiest during weekdays for lunch, with affordable lunch sets and a drink bar attracting a lot of housewives. It's Saturday at 5:30 pm, and it's not crowded at all. It's a good time to visit. Unlike carefully selected lunch sets, this place offers a wide variety of menu items. The prices are cheap, but there are so many choices that it's hard to decide what to order. There are plenty of vegetable dishes, which I appreciate as a vegetable lover. I think they also have low-carb menu options. They cater to a variety of people. I had the Soy Meat Bolognese with plenty of vegetables for 830 yen. It doesn't contain any meat - very healthy. My partner had the new dish, Red Snapper and Clam Peperoncino for 930 yen. It was refreshing. Before the pasta arrived, we enjoyed the drink bar. I started with iced tea, which was very light. Then, I tried the apple juice, which I usually don't like because it's too sweet, but this one was surprisingly light and easy to drink. The pasta arrived in about 10 minutes. It was more generous in portion than I expected. The pasta was cooked just right, and the flavor was perfect. The dish was filled with plenty of vegetables, just like in the menu photo. The soy meat blended in well, and the cheese on top was fluffy - great value for the price! The Peperoncino had a strong garlic flavor, which I enjoyed. The restaurant was spacious and clean, being new. They seemed to take care of hygiene as well. The drink bar was a nice touch, and I particularly liked the cappuccino from the coffee machine. It was a convenient and satisfying dining experience. I'm full now. Thank you for the meal! (๑´ڡ`๑)

Located near the Hassamu area, this pasta chain restaurant is part of the Zensho Group and is right next to the Hassamu Ion Mall. I visited this place late at night after working overtime. They have a spacious parking lot, making it easy to access. The interior has many table seats, but the lighting felt a bit dim. They offer a variety of Italian dishes like pasta and pizza, so I had a hard time deciding. I ordered the "Spinach and Bacon Butter Soy Sauce Pasta (630 yen excluding tax)" and the "Picollo Basil Cream Risotto (360 yen excluding tax)" shown in the photo. It took about 8 minutes for the dishes to be served. The pasta had thin noodles cooked al dente and had a Japanese twist with its butter soy sauce flavor. It paired well with the spinach and bacon, and was delicious. The cream risotto had a strong basil flavor and was lighter in taste than it looked, but it was also delicious. Personally, I preferred the risotto over the pasta. The prices are reasonable, so it's a good option for when you want to casually enjoy pasta.

Located near Hassamu Ion. I chose the bacon and spinach cream sauce for the daily lunch special. Lunchtime includes a soup bar. There are many types available, so I think you can enjoy a variety. I'm also interested in takeout. The price of the pasta is reasonable. The seasonal recommendations also looked delicious.
