200 yen for a dish with lots of green peppers. A summer orange watermelon with soft serve on top! Cherry on top as a bonus. It was delicious today too.

I had kinako soft serve and a hamburger. The buns of the hamburger were fluffy and delicious! The buns were the best and the kinako soft serve was exquisite. The owner of the shop also had a mysterious vibe, so I will definitely visit again.

Today, I went to Usuya Fishing Port in Kodaira Town in the morning. I wanted to get some octopus, but unfortunately couldn't find any (т т) It seems to be due to the effects of global warming. I stopped by a roadside station and had a little snack. I couldn't go to a restaurant for lunch because I brought Kotaro (my dog) with me. We ate a Casica burger for 500 yen, a Rumoi octopus grill for 400 yen, and a Rumoi octopus zangi for 500 yen with my friend. The Casica fried chicken burger had a special tartar sauce and crispy onions, it was delicious♡ At the burger stand Propeller, they also sold lots of freshly picked vegetables, it was fun haha.

On the way to Shinhira, I stopped at a roadside station to use the restroom. It was quite chilly that day, even before evening, and wearing short sleeves felt cold. But guess what! There was someone walking around with soft serve ice cream! As a local, I couldn't back down from the challenge! So, I bought a soft serve ice cream too. However, it was really cold outside... Maybe I didn't need to prove anything with my pride? I headed to a food stall or food truck and ordered two soft serve ice creams in the cold air. The price was a bit high at 420 yen each, but oh well. I received one first, and then my wife got hers. Wait a minute... doesn't hers look bigger? She said it was just my imagination. Oh well. Anyway, I tried the ice cream and it had a subtle milk flavor and a light texture, not too sweet, and quite tasty! It was decent, not bad at all. Maybe a bit more ice cream swirls next time would be nice! Turns out it wasn't the number of swirls that was lacking, but the thickness of them. It was actually quite satisfying. Maybe they gave us a little extra? I'll definitely go back and try their salmon roe hot dog next time, it looks delicious.

I went on a drive to Rumoi and stopped by a roadside station to collect stamps. The station has been slowly developing with new facilities, so the layout of the shops changes each time I visit. The previous souvenir shop area is now a free resting room, but it was quite cold without air conditioning. Since the weather was nice and warm, I decided to have some soft serve ice cream here. The cone costs 410 yen, while the cup costs 320 yen with the option to choose toppings. I went with the recommended Baileys by the staff, which was a rich and creamy soft serve with Irish whiskey as the base. It was really delicious and I look forward to trying other flavors like Chita or Chamisul next time I visit Rumoi. Thank you to "Plopera" for the treat!

This is a station in Rumoi, after using the restroom, I look for my usual food review topic on Tabelog. There is only one restaurant I haven't visited yet, and on a sunny day, there is a food truck parked in front of the store. It's a pizza and hot dog place that I'm very curious about, but I can't register it on Tabelog so I give up. I look at the menu in front of the prefab store "Propera" outside the facility. The menu includes coffee, soft serve, burgers, curry, pasta, and more. Since I don't have time to sit and eat leisurely as usual, my options are limited. A young male employee is being instructed by an older man who seems to be the owner in the back. I order "Soft Serve @410 yen" as usual, and I have it in a cone. The cup version is 310 yen, so there is a price difference. I pay for it, receive the item, and leave. The soft serve uses Nissei's product and has a nice milk flavor and smooth texture. It's delicious but melts quickly in the high temperature, making it difficult to eat. It was tasty, but 410 yen may be a bit expensive. Thank you for the meal.

While in Rumoi for some errands on a rainy day, I stopped by Rumoi Michi no Eki for a coffee break ☕️ It helped me wake up and now I'm ready to work hard in the afternoon! The coffee ☕️ was easy to drink and enjoyable ☺️
