When you come to Hokkaido, you must try miso ramen, but I love shrimp wonton so I ordered shrimp wonton noodles without hesitation. You can choose between salt or soy sauce soup, both for 1,000 yen. Since it is a tourist spot, the cost performance is not great and they only accept cash. I like thin curly noodles. The salt soup is not bad. The shrimp wonton is delicious, but it wasn't as good as I expected. Playing at the bear farm in the pouring rain, it warmed my chilled body. Thank you for the meal!

Located in a corner of the shopping street in Noboribetsu, Ajimiman is a place proud of its flavors. The interior is clean and has table seating, making it easy for families to enter, although strollers are apparently not allowed. Each child must order their own dish. I tried the Oni Goma Ramen. It has a spiciness that is addictive, along with a rich soup base and the aroma of sesame oil. The chashu is also delicious.

I stopped by the Noboribetsu Onsen town during my trip to Hokkaido. It was the 5th day of my trip and I had visited many buffets and izakayas, but I was really impressed by the very polite ramen here. I ordered the shrimp wonton noodles. The noodles were medium-thin curly noodles and I could choose between salt and soy sauce for the soup. The soup was so delicious that I could drink it all. Thank you for the meal.

In the hot spring town of Noboribetsu, I visited this shop that is popular among locals. I tried the soy sauce ramen with two big scallops for 1,200 yen. It was just like the menu photo, and quite delicious! I added butter on top, which made me feel like I was really in Hokkaido. This kind of ramen could easily cost around 2,000 yen at department stores or food fairs. It's a cozy shop run by a lovely couple. If I have the chance to visit Noboribetsu again, I will definitely go back. 😊

The "Scallop Butter Soy Sauce Ramen" is a delicious dish with two large scallops and corn, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of Hokkaido. The cozy restaurant, probably run by a couple, is a great place to dine. They have beer but no sake, which might be a good thing as there are no lingering drunk customers.

I visited for lunch with 5 customers before me and 1 customer after me. I ordered the dan dan noodles, but the owner recommended the shrimp wonton noodles in a salt flavor saying it was "quite spicy". The shrimp wontons were deliciously bouncy! This was really tasty! The soy sauce flavor might be even better. Shrimp Wonton Noodles in Salt Flavor for 1000 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

Founded in 1958, this long-established ramen shop in Noboribetsu offers a level of ramen that wouldn't be out of place in a casual Chinese restaurant in Tokyo. The homemade chashu and wonton are highly recommended. Located in the Noboribetsu hot spring town, "Ajiman" is a great choice if you're unsure of where to eat. The reviewer stayed at the Daiichi Takimoto main building in Noboribetsu for five nights. When staying in a hot spring town like Noboribetsu, finding places to eat can be a challenge, as there are few dining options available. "Ajiman" is located towards Jigokudani in the hot spring town and has limited parking nearby. The restaurant has a few tables and an unused counter. The reviewer was surprised to learn that this ramen shop, which they had not noticed before, was actually a long-established shop founded in 1958. The shop used to operate inside the Daiichi Takimoto main building until a few years ago. The current owner decided to move the operation outside the hotel after his wife fell ill. The reviewer tried the tantanmen without any recommendations, and found it to be delicious. The spicy soup and thick noodles from Kobayashi Seimen were a perfect match. The standout feature was the homemade chashu, with three thick slices that melted in the mouth. The portion size was just right, and the reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

I have been sweating a lot from early morning hot spring activities (onsen activities), going through dehydration and rehydration. One thing that becomes lacking in this process is salt. If I don't intake salty foods, my mineral balance will be disrupted and my health will deteriorate. So, I decided to visit this restaurant with great anticipation. This place used to operate within a hot spring hotel for a long time before the pandemic, but due to the impact of the current situation, they moved outside about a year ago. It seems to be a fresh start for the couple in their 50s. The ramen made by the quiet husband, who seems to be from Hokkaido, is a simple and delicious flavor that I really like. The ramen with large scallops in it is delicious, so I came to eat it again this time. When I walked in, there was no customer even though it was lunchtime. I took a seat right after entering. The wife greeted me warmly and placed a glass of water on the table. Scallop soy butter ramen for 1200 yen including tax. The soup was indeed rich in salt content, making it irresistible after a hot spring. The ingredients were luxurious, and the freshness of the scallops was good and tasty. The corn, seaweed, and butter were all delicious. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles, similar to Nishiyama Seimen, and were boiled firm. I chewed well while eating, which matched well with this soup. Apparently, I was lacking in salt, as the soup was extremely delicious, soaking into the empty cells. Although I usually restrict salt intake, today I enjoyed it without hesitation. I drank cold water quickly, and the wife immediately poured me a refill. What a great cycle. The sliding door at the entrance opened, and a solo traveler came in. The person who had been watching me eat from outside came in. Another female customer entered. Then another couple came in. One after another, the place quickly became full. It seems like today is a popular day. I wonder if I contributed to the restaurant in some way. I hope my customers will come like this too.

Onsen Town Ramen Specialty @ Ebi Wantan Men ¥1000 A ramen shop located in Noboribetsu Onsen Town that was featured in the separate volume of the 2021 HO Shurran. Originally, the shop was inside the Daiichi Takimoto Honkan, but due to various circumstances, it moved to its current location at the end of last year. I was curious after reading the magazine, so when I went back home, I asked my sister to take my mother and me there. My target was the Ebi Wantan Men, my sister ordered the Akamiso Ramen, and my mother ordered the children's ramen with soft noodles. The onsen town was quiet due to the rain, but this shop was bustling with customers during lunchtime, with a full house and a line outside. The soup had a surprisingly clear and transparent broth with good ingredients, mainly featuring wantan, seasoned egg, and plenty of seaweed. The mild saltiness and the umami of the kelp dashi in the soup had a refreshing aftertaste. The springy noodles from Kobayashi Seimen paired exceptionally well with the soup. The shrimp-filled wantan, which can also be eaten as sashimi, was delicious. Although I hesitated at the price of ¥1000, eating it proved to be the right choice. I was really glad to encounter high-quality wantan men in the onsen town! Both my sister and mother seemed satisfied as well. Thank you for the meal.

The taste was delicious, but the auntie waitress's casual speech was too disappointing.
