There are other people who are actively posting reviews in various genres, and they seem to be quite satisfied with the number of reviews they have. Normally, I wouldn't register a store, but I want to recommend this product, so here is my review. A friend of a friend's family owns the Yamahata Shoten, so every time we pass by, my friend reacts. Last month, I bought some products at Fujimaru, and they were great, so when I came to Hiroo, I decided to stop by here. The store is just a typical local store selling a variety of things. When I mentioned that I came to buy noodles, I was guided to the shelves in the back, and I was surprised to see the variety of noodles they had! They had ramen noodles like kombu noodles, kumasasa noodles, soup noodles, and phoenix ramen, as well as boiled soba, udon, with various thicknesses and colors. I was surprised by the wide selection. I tried some of them over the next few days, and even though I had no intention of reviewing them at first, here are my thoughts on the ones with photos. - Yakisoba (330 yen tax included): This is a steamed yakisoba with 3 servings and yakisoba sauce. It's amazing that the noodles don't need water to loosen up. While Maruchan's yakisoba is affordable and convenient, it has a cheap taste. This yakisoba, on the other hand, has a sweet taste due to the sweeteners added, but it also has various spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, laurel, etc.), so the taste never gets boring. The noodles are also easy to chew. - Nabe-yaki udon (275 yen): This is a nabe-yaki udon with toppings. Since it's boiled udon, I made it in a single serving pot. The toppings included tempura, seaweed, two pieces of fu, and shichimi, and I also added an egg and grated yam. I used the Men-tsuyu from Bell Foods that came with it (diluted), but I used my own dashi. The flat udon noodles were smooth and easy to bite into, and my friend who hadn't had nabe-yaki udon in a while drank up all the soup and highly praised it. If this was at a restaurant, they could probably charge 600 yen for it. It seems that many restaurants in Hiroo serve noodles from Yamahata Seimen. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
