At first glance, it looks like an ordinary gas station, but as you walk further inside to use the restroom, you will find a supermarket attached behind the door. This place is well-loved by the locals as there are no other supermarkets around. They have a hot chef and a variety of products. Their fried potatoes with skin on have a satisfying crunch. You definitely need to try the "Kechappi" here. The frankfurters and Vienna sausages are full of pork flavor with just the right amount of saltiness, and they go perfectly with mustard. The food stall's "Gyoni-so" is also delicious. The roadside station is surprisingly spacious, and the air is clean despite the trailers driving around.

Checked in at the accommodation. It's glamping, so we didn't stay in a building but in a tent. Despite it being mid-August in Hokkaido, the daytime temperatures in Tokachi region were quite high and hot. Since there was no air conditioning in the tent, I decided to put some drinks in the cooler box. However, there were no drinks, so we headed to a nearby store in the car. There was no supermarket nearby, only a convenience store, which was a first for me. Bought some alcohol, milk, and water at the convenience store. Returned to the tent and put them in the cooler box. Since we wouldn't be using the car anymore, I enjoyed a craft beer, the Sapporo Classic Golden Kamuy edition. It was delicious, especially in the heat. We waited until after dinner to enjoy some sake, which had the distinct characteristics of Hokkaido sake and was quite enjoyable.
