Sapporo City Higashi Ward / Fushiko Tea House Komomi Asa opens from 10 am! Daily specials starting from 550 yen! A wide selection of magazines and manga! Smoking is allowed! Visited this charming place after about five years. ◆Order ✔️Daily special 550 yen ✔️Coffee after meal 150 yen ◆Today's daily special: Meat sauce spaghetti set They also have days for spaghetti and soup. A fork, Tabasco, and cheese are provided in advance. Started reading "Attack on Titan" volume 23, which I had given up on. ◾Remarks They have a great selection of manga, from old to new! Kingdom, Spy x Family, Chainsaw Man, One Piece, NARUTO, and more. Soon, the spaghetti and soup arrive. The thick, soft noodles with carrots, onions, and plenty of minced meat in a tangy sauce. Yes, a gentle flavor. The portion is modest. The egg soup is also delicious. The coffee after the meal is mild yet fragrant and satisfying. Read up to volume 26 leisurely and look forward to the continuation before leaving the shop. Time flies in such a café. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much♪

I visited a cafe located near Fukuko, not far from Shinmichi in February 2022. There is a parking lot in front of the store. There are counter seats and table seats. The interior of the store has a lot of history, and although there were no smokers when I visited, the smell is ingrained. There are plenty of manga books, so manga lovers will be happy. I ordered the daily lunch special, which was chicken karaage. It was surprisingly priced at 550 yen. It only took about 5 minutes for it to be served, and both the miso soup and the karaage were hot. The karaage was made with chicken breast, lightly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender. The potato salad didn't use too much mayonnaise, which was good.

On a certain weekday, I had lunch at a cafe in Higashi-ku, Fukuko 8-jo where there are many manga books. I realized after arriving that it was a smoking allowed cafe. Luckily, it was still early so the air was clear. I decided to try the lunch special of the day, "Chicken Karaage (520 yen)". It was a bit early for fried chicken, but I ordered it anyway. The chicken karaage was freshly fried, small in size with a soy-based sauce that was light on salt. It came with sweet miso-stirred peas, cabbage, tomato, and potato salad with a hint of butter. The rice was served in a large bowl with toppings like green onions, seaweed, tofu, and cabbage. The miso soup had tofu, wakame seaweed, and pickles. I noticed that there were no smokers around during my visit, which was a plus for me. Overall, the affordable price of 520 yen for a satisfying lunch made it very appealing. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the daily lunch special for 520 yen around September 2020. Isn't that cheap? (laughs) Starting with the bland miso soup. The simmered fuki was also a bit bland (laughs). The dressing was also on the light side (laughs). What is this, a healthy set meal? (laughs) The salmon fry was crispy and delicious though (*^^*) More importantly, they had a lot of comics, I want to read all of Kingdom.

The daily lunch special is ¥520, which is an amazing deal these days. On my first visit, I had the fried horse mackerel set meal. It came with rice, miso soup, pickles, and the set meal staples - two pieces of fried horse mackerel, shredded cabbage, and pumpkin salad. The fried horse mackerel was crispy and freshly fried. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious! All this for such a low price, and you can even read your favorite comic while you eat. On another visit, I tried the fried chicken set meal. It was basically the same as the horse mackerel set meal, but with fried chicken instead. The chicken was also freshly fried, with a crispy coating and juicy meat. However, I always seem to finish my rice before anything else. (laughs) Anyway, the coffee is also cheap at ¥150. Just be aware that this place is very smoker-friendly, so you might want to be prepared for the smell to stick to your clothes and hair.

I came to this shop that caught my attention. There are 10 parking spaces, so it's reassuring. The daily special is 520 yen and is served from 11:00. I arrived a bit early, so I checked if it was okay to have my meal served earlier, and they said it was fine. I sat at a table and looked at the menu underneath. Curry rice, Napolitan, meat curry spaghetti, and yakisoba are all reasonably priced at 570 yen. Today, I ordered the pork cutlet curry for 720 yen. Set meals are also available for 620 or 720 yen. Since I arrived early, they told me it would take about 20 minutes because they were still preparing the curry, but it was not a problem as there were plenty of manga books to read. The pork cutlet curry came with soup and salad. The soup was like consomme, a bit light. The salad consisted of cabbage, macaroni, and tomato. The pork cutlet was freshly fried and easy to eat without any tough parts. The curry had small vegetable pieces and was mildly spicy and creamy. The rice was a bit soft and not too much in quantity. I would like to try the Napolitan and yakisoba next time. Smoking allowed, and there is a smell of oil in the shop. With a large number of manga books inside, it seems like a good place to pass the time. (2018.11)

⭐LP⭐ I visited this cafe for lunch on a weekday. I was originally planning to go to another soba noodle restaurant nearby, but unfortunately it was full. I searched for a lunch option nearby and found this cafe! The parking lot in front of the cafe had about 10 spaces and was almost full. I managed to find a spot at the end and entered the cafe. It was surprising to see such a crowded parking lot at a cafe. The inside of the cafe was spacious, with many solo customers quietly reading manga or magazines. The cafe had a large bookshelf at the back filled with manga books, almost like a library. I see, people come here to read manga while having lunch! As for the menu, they offered sandwiches, pasta, Japanese set meals, and more. Today's daily special was the Tatsutaage set meal for 520 yen! Alright, LP decided! It's understandable that the prices are low, considering the crowd. KG ordered the ginger pork rice set meal. Although it seemed like there were many customers waiting, the dishes surprisingly arrived in just 7 minutes! The speed of the service was amazing. The kitchen had one lady and the floor had one man, so the lady's cooking speed was incredible. The dishes were not large in portion, but they came with miso soup, pickles, and salad, making it a good deal for the price. The homemade taste was nice, and the Tatsutaage seemed freshly fried, almost burning my lips (laughs). KG's ginger pork was made with thinly sliced pork belly and had a strong flavor, but it went well with the rice. The portions were small, but it's a good place for those looking for a home-cooked meal at an affordable price. Just a note, smoking is allowed throughout the cafe, so if you're sensitive to smoke, you might want to avoid it.

On August 20th, 2016 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM, in the light rain, I decided to have a late lunch at a cozy spot I hadn't visited in a while. The daily lunch special was still available, and today's dish was fried chicken. The atmosphere was quiet, with a soft-spoken yet friendly master taking orders. For first-timers, the menu is hidden under the table to allow for a peaceful reading environment with a variety of manga, magazines, and newspapers available. The restroom is located towards the back left of the shop. The place was almost full, mainly with male customers, and the sound of lively conversations from female customers echoed through the otherwise quiet ambiance. The daily lunch special arrived, surprising me with its affordable price. The fried chicken was delicious, coated in a sweet sauce, and served with macaroni salad and stir-fried eggplant for a well-balanced meal. The pickled vegetables added a nice touch. The total cost was ¥520, and the coffee after the meal was only ¥150. The toast was surprisingly tasty, made with bread from Okameya. While it may not be suitable for non-smokers due to the smoking allowed, this hidden gem of a manga cafe is definitely worth another visit. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Welcome! Located in a quiet residential area in the Fukuko district of the Higashi Ward, a large parking lot filled with cars is quietly standing. Yugachon: "Welcome, would you like to sit at the counter?" Exactly at 12 o'clock, but the counter? Looking at the tables, they seem to be full of single customers, and if there are no seats available, you might have to share a table. It seems like they are closely connected to the local community, as there are no other restaurants around... The master seems kind and friendly with a smile. He quickly dashes from the hall to the finishing and standby work. He is very fast in his actions! Although the chef rarely appears for cooking, you can see the menu from the counter at the edge. I received the daily special menu. It changes daily and is usually written on the board above the register when you enter. But the master usually remembers the daily specials. This seems to be an unspoken rule. The books lined up on the table side are taken by each person and quietly enjoyed. So, there is only orchestral background music and the sound of cooking in the air. Luckily, the counter was able to avoid the signal fire. Today's daily special was chicken Karaage. Five pieces of crispy and juicy chicken Karaage with a vibrant color and crunchy texture. Served with simmered butterbur, pumpkin salad, shredded cabbage, and miso-flavored daikon wakame soup. Finished with pickled radish. A daily special lunch that is worth more than its price. Now... Each table has a soy sauce dispenser, but there's no need to use it. I wonder how many they have in stock. A place where you can quietly enjoy your time alone, with 98% of the customers being single. Thank you for the relaxing meal.

The other day, I had lunch with my neighbors and afterwards, as I passed by this place that looked like a cafe with a spacious parking lot filled with cars, I immediately searched for it but couldn't find any information. So, I decided to visit (later found out it was registered). The parking lot in front of the store can fit up to 12 cars if you try hard enough, and it was full during peak hours. The interior of the store was surprisingly spacious, with all seats allowing smoking. There were 5 counter seats and 10 table seats, with manga books displayed on one wall. During lunchtime, all the men were quietly reading manga without saying a word. The kitchen was run by the quiet owner. Soft Japanese ballads were playing in the background. I was surprised by the prices, with the daily lunch special of Japanese-style hamburger priced at 520 yen and all other menu items around 100 yen cheaper than average. I decided to try the somewhat unusual A lunch set "Pork-stuffed omelette (620 yen)" along with a "post-meal hot coffee (150 yen)". The owner efficiently and skillfully prepared the dishes of the previous customers in no time. Taking a bite, the omelette, which looked a bit like a cafeteria dish, had seasoned pork belly slices on top with sauce, perfect as a rice side dish. It was served with shredded cabbage and spaghetti salad. The rice portion was generous, served in a large bowl, with a side of miso soup with seaweed and tofu, and a bonus pickled cucumber. Lastly, I enjoyed a freshly brewed coffee in a small pot. It seemed like the main goal for customers was reading manga, as they seemed to be eating rice without much interest in the manga. It's a recommended cafe for those who want to enjoy a relaxing meal with reasonable prices while reading manga. Thank you for the meal.

In the afternoon of May 27, 2015, near the fresh market frequented by residents of Higashinaoho and Fushiko Minami, there is an old café kitchen called "Kafe Kicchin." The parking lot is spacious, with room for more than 10 cars. When you enter, you'll see that it's bustling even on weekdays. People are enjoying manga, smoke, and food all around. What's impressive is the wide selection of weekly manga magazines! They have popular ones like Young Magazine, Young Jump, and Big Comic Spirits, as well as some lesser-known ones like Young Animal and Young Champion. It seems like they have almost everything covered. You won't need to read manga standing in a convenience store anymore, so if your office is nearby, you might find yourself coming here twice a week! The manga selection is extensive and really gets you excited. Now, a kind-looking slender owner guides you to the counter. You receive the menu and water, and you wonder if you should go for the daily special or the Japanese-style grated hamburger for 520 yen. You decide on the Japanese-style grated hamburger with ginger pork and rice, with a large serving! It costs 670 yen plus an extra 150 yen for a large rice portion. Let's see how it tastes. After a short wait, you notice the existence of pork cutlet curry... maybe you should have ordered that. The owner, in a comical manner, quickly takes orders and serves water. The dish arrives in just 5 or 6 minutes, which feels fast! You can't see it, but it seems like there's someone cooking in the back. The ginger pork and rice dish looks surprisingly refreshing. Time to dig in! The ginger pork has a nostalgic, home-cooked taste with a strong soy sauce flavor. The meat is thinly sliced with a good amount of fat. The side salad has a crunchy texture. The large rice portion and miso soup with tofu go well with the meal. The ginger pork is quietly and smoothly devoured. If the rice and miso soup were hotter, it would have been even better. Maybe if you don't opt for the large rice portion, the value for money would be better! However, I wish they would serve a larger portion of rice. Enjoying the meal costs 820 yen in total. Feeling a bit unsatisfied, you decide to check out Matsuo Jingisukan Fushiko next door for some more food!笑
