ハチワレキジシロ
When I came to Obihiro, I was thinking of trying Genghis Khan. Hachiware, who is from Yokohama, grew up thinking of beef when it comes to yakiniku. My husband, who is from Sapporo, thinks of Genghis Khan when it comes to yakiniku! When we have yakiniku or barbecue at home, the main dish is always Genghis Khan! What surprised Hachiware was that shabu-shabu is also made with lamb. Thank you, sheep (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡ •*¨*•.¸¸☆*・゚
When I searched for a place to eat Genghis Khan around the station, there were restaurants with that mountain-shaped plate where you cook vegetables together, and yakiniku restaurants. The restaurant with the mountain-shaped plate was full, so we tried this one. It was a great choice. There were various kinds of meat, so you never get bored. All of them were delicious ('∀'人)✧*.
The meat is cut by hand instead of sliced by a machine, so it is tender and tasty. I ordered the top-quality Genghis Khan. It was tender and flavorful, so I didn't even need to use the sauce. We kept ordering more and more.
Sagari was delicious and tender, it's the type that Hachiware likes. It's the opposite side of harami.
Liver was soft and had a unique taste. Even though Hachiware is not a fan of internal organs, she likes liver.
Tontoro had a lot of fat, but when grilled crispy, it was fragrant, sweet, and delicious.
Tokachi Mashiyaki was unexpectedly good. I thought it was mashed potatoes, but it turned out to be mushrooms. The mushrooms were juicy, flavorful, and did not shrink when grilled.
Ika Chijimi took some time to prepare, but it was worth the wait. It was piping hot and crispy, with plenty of squid pieces.
Hoisin greens were served with finely chopped white leeks and miso, and it was a generous portion.
Bibimbap (half size) was delicious when mixed. Hachiware prefers rice to be fluffy, so she liked this version without the stone pot. The egg was also tasty, and the soup was good too.
For drinks, my husband enjoyed craft beer, craft chu-hai, makgeolli, and more. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the feast.
