Visited here on the first day of the match. Enjoyed watching the game starting at 2 pm while drinking beer, and then headed to Yakigai Akoya in Nanatsu Boshi Yokocho which is open even after the game. This time, there were exhibitors from Tokyo such as Akoya Sanshuya at the alley. On game days, takeout is also available. They offer dishes like Lu Rou Fan, Taiwanese fried chicken, and player collaboration menus. They also have delicacies like abalone and abalone radish. You can eat at standing tables or shared space areas. This time, we made a reservation for the night after the game, so we dined in the back of the restaurant. There are counter seats and table seats available. Just before, there was also a TV interview. Since there were only two of us this time, we sat at the counter seats in front of the chef. The restaurant was almost full, so it was good that we made a reservation. We also requested a crab dish limited to pre-reservation. The first dish was Strawberry Simmered Dish. It was a local dish from Hachinohe, Aomori (my hometown) with sea urchin and abalone in a clear soup, and it was incredibly delicious. Both the sea urchin and abalone were so tasty that it was a shame to drink it all up! As a seafood restaurant, the sashimi platter of shellfish on that day was amazing! I occasionally eat shellfish in Tokyo, but the texture was outstanding and I was surprised! And it was served with abalone liver soy sauce. Next was the raw crab we requested. The crab was beautifully washed and bloomed. It was soft with a good elasticity and umami flavor. It was heavenly when eaten with the miso on top. I was impressed by the raw crab, as it's not something you can eat in Tokyo. Then, we had steamed abalone. It was delivered directly from a fisherman in Suo Oshima, Yamaguchi Prefecture! It was thick and delicious. We also had various items to accompany the sake. The sake changed daily, and on that day it was Tokujo! I ordered a spice sour as a chaser for the sake (laughs). The spice sour had a strong spice flavor. It would go well with the takeout Lu Rou or curry. The customers next to us were praising the Sayama tea mixed with the owner's hometown Sayama tea as Sayama Tea Split, so I was curious about that too! Unlike takeout, it was fun to see the owner's collection of carefully selected dishes. Finally, we had crab cooked rice. Since we were already full, we ate a little at the restaurant and took the rest home as a souvenir. It was a night where we could enjoy the deliciousness of Hokkaido.

The photo is a bit small, but I went again on a day when there was no Escon game! When I went, I felt like eating this fried chicken. But wait, isn't it more expensive now? It's 950 yen... I checked the previous photo and it was 850 yen, so it's a 100 yen increase. But around 1000 yen feels a bit expensive. Is it just me, or does it seem smaller? The initial impact is wearing off... This is a photo taken by a child, but it still feels small. It's delicious though! Hmm...

I visited Escon Field. My main purpose was to watch baseball, but I also tried to explore the gourmet options. As I walked around the venue, I noticed various shops on each floor. The first shop that caught my attention was a seafood restaurant. It had a good selection of seafood dishes. I was seated at the counter, and the place was full of customers. I ordered a seafood platter with fresh shellfish and Pacific saury sashimi. Since I had other restaurants to visit, I kept my order simple. I finished my meal quickly at this restaurant. It wasn't until after I entered that I realized it was originally from Tokyo. I should have done my research beforehand. The fact that the food was from Hokkaido was a relief.

Next, let's head to Akoya restaurant! The companion wanted to dine in, and surprisingly, most of the shops allow dining in. It doesn't feel like you're inside a baseball stadium at all, it's quite lively with baseball games being broadcasted. The dishes at Kaioya are all fresh and delicious, with unique and elaborate options that pair well with drinks. In the end, three of us managed to drink 5 cups of sake in just one hour!

Located inside Nanatsu Boshi Yokocho in Esucon. The shellfish menu is for dining in only, not available for takeout. The shellfish platter includes Thai clams, red clams, and mirugai. They are all chewy and delicious. I believe it was around 1500 yen for the platter. The grilled rice ball has a crispy outer layer with a savory miso flavor, but the rice inside was soft. The prices are on the higher side, but if you visit Esucon, I recommend eating at Nanatsu Boshi Yokocho. Thank you for the meal.

It was really good. As soon as I entered the stadium, I headed straight here. It was my first time at a game, so I wondered if the shop would be crowded. I walked through the crowded streets and arrived! The craft beer section was crowded, and so were the others, but this place was empty! Is it a hidden gem? I was able to buy beer quickly too! Is it just me, or is the spice weaker than last time? Did it get smaller? Oh well, never mind. This food is delicious and goes well with beer! I want to try eating other things here slowly too! I'm curious about the pork rice bowl too!

I visited Escon Field's night game with my former boss who I was grateful to at my previous workplace, mainly for the half-priced beer. We watched baseball on the TV inside, and the food at Nana-sei Yokocho turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. This was my second time here, and I wanted to try as many items as possible, so I ordered the cheapest menu item. The clam and hijiki croquette tasted exactly as expected, and paired perfectly with the beer, but it didn't exceed my expectations in any way. Next time, I'll order a slightly more expensive menu item and write another review.

After watching a baseball game at Escon Field, I visited this place. Many shops in the facility were closed, but this one was open! Even though I wasn't very hungry after eating various snacks while watching baseball, I wanted something to drink and something Hokkaido-like, so this was the perfect place. Many menu items were sold out, but I had some karasumi, ankimo, and herring sashimi, mainly as snacks for alcohol. The karasumi was moist and delicious. The ankimo was creamy and irresistible for drinkers. I had never seen herring sashimi in Kanto, but it was soft and protein-rich. I also tried the local sake, Kuni Toki and Daisetsu, both were easy to drink and refreshing. The best dish was the mixed shellfish rice pot. It was packed with the deliciousness of the shellfish. Even though I was full, I finished it all. It was interesting to hear the chef and other customers talking about the Belluna Dome, as they were from Saitama.

On a Saturday in July, I went to a day game with Lotte and wanted to eat shellfish dishes at Nanatsuboshi Yokocho. I sat at the counter. They have a good selection of sake. I had Upkawa Taisetsu and Sicilian Lemon Sour. I had a chef's selection of 3 shellfish dishes, seafood bakudan shellfish, natto, and nagaimo wrapped in seaweed.

Escon Field is a shellfish specialty izakaya that may not seem fitting at first glance. I visited the Ebisu location, which is actually a sports bar. You can watch games inside while enjoying drinks. When I visited, it was quite crowded, and more than half of the shellfish were sold out by the time the game started. The Taiwanese fried chicken to go and the 3-piece herring sashimi were delicious. The Taiwanese fried chicken is large, equivalent to about 5 pieces of regular fried chicken, and has a subtle hint of spices. You can make reservations for seating.

This restaurant specializes in shellfish dishes and is located in Ebisu. The manager mentioned that they only open when there are Nippon Ham Fighters games. We ordered almost all the shellfish dishes on the menu, and it came out to just over ¥10,000 per person. The quality was so good that we were surprised to find such a level of restaurant at a baseball stadium. It's great that Escon can be used not only for watching baseball games, but also for dining at restaurants and izakayas.

At this establishment in the alley of Escon Field 7-chome, you can enjoy grilled and live shellfish. They have standing seats for drinks, and you can also get Taiwanese-style fried chicken or croquettes to go. I tried the croquette with hijiki seaweed, which was well-seasoned and went well with beer. They offer a special spiced highball that includes cinnamon, similar to a chu-hi. It was a delicious meal.

On the second floor of Escon Field, behind third base, there is a "Nanatsuboshi Yokocho" where famous shops from all over the country gather, creating an alley area where you can drink, eat, and chat even after the game ends. Each shop offers eat-in options, and there are shared tables and standing drink seats like a food court. You can stay until 10:30 PM after the game ends, and each shop can take orders until around 10 PM. (This may vary depending on the game end time. On this day, the game ended around 8:45 PM.) I secured a seat on a bench in Nanatsuboshi Yokocho, and my friend tried to order the "Assorted Live Shellfish Set" but was told it's only available for eat-in. Instead, they brought back croquettes for us. ◆ Asari Croquette (Hijiki) 350 yen Staff favorite No.1, a choice between hijiki or butter. Packed with plenty of asari and delicious.

In the bustling Seven Star Lane in the 5th block of Field in 2023, there is a specialty shellfish restaurant that originated from Tokyo. After a confirmed victory in the match, I found myself sitting for the second half and my lower back started to ache. I decided to refresh myself by wandering around. The reserved seating was full, so I ended up at the standing bar area. I ordered a sweet potato shochu with soda and flamingo orange for 650 yen. It had a citrus scent and didn't taste too much like sweet potato, making it suitable even for those who are not used to it. As a snack, I had the "Shellfish Namero" for 680 yen. It had a good texture with a salt and sesame flavor that complemented the alcohol well. I also added the "Princess Turban Shell Simmered Dish" for 800 yen. It had a gentle and delicious seasoning, although it was a bit cold as it was delivered straight from the refrigerator. Thank you for the meal.

On a day without any matches, I had some free time so I tried Esukon for the first time! There were so many things I wanted to eat, but I ended up buying Taiwan fried chicken which was delicious! The best! My wife had this with craft beer! The spices were just right and it was easy to eat as a takeout! I want to eat it again! Nana Star Alley is the best, right! It was good that it wasn't crowded, but I wonder if it would be difficult to buy when there are matches? I'm worried!

Taiwanese Lu Rou Fan with Large Chicken Cutlet (Taiwanese Fried Chicken) Lu Rou Fan has delicious ingredients, but the rice is not good. I don't know what kind of rice they use or how they cook it, but it doesn't mix well with the ingredients and lacks sauce, so it's not great. The Daisy Pie is okay. However, considering that it's made with cheap chicken breast, the price is quite high. Even though stadium food doesn't necessarily need to be cost-effective, the high price was hard to overlook.

The staff seemed inexperienced, but it was their first day so it was understandable. Their willingness to improve was very evident. The Spice Highball was addictive, and the Daisy Pie was perfect for watching baseball games! Eating these while watching baseball is definitely the best! At first, I thought the Assorted Appetizers were a bit small, but the selection of herring, rapeseed blossoms, water octopus with wasabi leaves, was perfect for those who love alcohol! Despite still being inexperienced, the owner helped recover the situation, which was much appreciated. The dinner menu will apparently feature more shellfish dishes, so I would like to go back for that next time.

I visited before the game and had sashimi of fresh salmon and three types of grilled shellfish, which were really delicious. All the other dishes were satisfying too, and even though it was before the game, I ended up drinking too much (^^;)
