I bought shokupan and melon pan, among other things. It was okay, nothing special. They are good for eating normally, but I felt they were a bit expensive. I probably won't visit again for this reason. The customer service was good and very nice.

While taking a walk, I stumbled upon a bakery that seemed to have popped up out of nowhere. When I went around 2pm, they were already running low on items! It must be quite popular, right? I bought some salt bread, red bean bun, and croissant. The salt bread here is amazing! It was really delicious and I was impressed! It had the perfect amount of salt that I like, a bit on the salty side, and I ended up finishing it in no time. I wanted to try the chocolate croissant, but they were sold out, so I'll have to come back another day for it!

One weekend, I happened to find an empty parking space and quickly parked in front of a bakery in Higashi-ku, Kitaku 16-jō Higashi 12-chōme. The parking lot can fit about 2 cars. Inside the bakery, the space is compact with a showcase and a refrigerated case. From the menu, I chose a few items that caught my eye. The "An Salt Butter Roll (200 yen)" had a white dough with salt sprinkled throughout, a little black sesame on top, a good balance of butter and sweet red bean paste inside. The "Meat-filled Curry Bun (270 yen)" was the most popular item, with a good amount of oil on the surface and big chunks of pork inside, a mild curry flavor with just the right amount of spice. The "Croissant Chocolate (200 yen)" exceeded my expectations with a flaky croissant dough and a delicate buttery flavor, the chocolate inside was high quality and not overwhelming. I had tried to visit this bakery several times before, so I was glad to finally get the chance to try their delicious pastries. I look forward to visiting again at the right timing. Thank you for the meal.

Subway Toyo Line "Kanjohigashi Station" is about a 5-minute walk from the bakery "Kongari". Feeling a strange sense of duty to visit a bakery, I entered the small shop and was greeted by a young lady saying "Welcome". I carefully examined the limited selection of bread in the glass case in front of me. I purchased the "Meat-filled Curry Bread @270" and the "Walnut Bread". After paying, I received a Valentine's chocolate with the shop's name on it, a Tirol chocolate. I took my purchases home and lightly reheated them. The "Meat-filled Curry Bread" was as the name suggests, filled with chunks of meat, which is not common in curry bread. It had a mild spiciness and a general taste, but the chunks of meat made it enjoyable. The "Walnut Bread" was soft and had a moderate wheaty texture, but I wish there were more walnuts in it. The creative breads at this bakery seem interesting, and I look forward to trying more in the future. There were no hard breads available when I visited. If given the chance, I would definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I took a late summer vacation and watched a movie, ate parfait with my wife, and stopped by KON・GARI, a bakery located in a residential area with a parking lot in front of the shop. I purchased the "Meat-filled Curry Bread (250 yen)", "Red Bean Bun (150 yen)", and "Red Bean Salt Butter Roll (180 yen)". The shop was quite busy, possibly because we went there after 3 pm, but I was satisfied with my choices from the sold-out items. The curry bread lived up to its name with plenty of meat, the red bean bun had just the right amount of sweetness, and the red bean salt butter roll was a new and delicious discovery for me.

I searched for a shop that is usually closed on Sundays because I now have night shifts for work and can go out during the day. I found this bakery and decided to visit. The bakery is located in a residential area behind Oya Gakuen, and even though it was early in the day, there were already a few customers, probably locals. The most popular curry bread was not available yet, but I got the second most popular walnut sweet bread and a daily sandwich with shrimp cream croquette. The croissant with a buttery aroma was crispy on the outside and moist inside, with a good balance of saltiness and a nice flavor. The walnut sweet bread, the second most popular item, had a soft and chewy texture with a pleasant walnut flavor. Although it was called "sweet," I didn't find it too sweet. The daily sandwich with shrimp cream croquette had a smooth texture and a strong shrimp flavor, complemented by the crunchy cabbage. It would be better if the bread was lighter and fluffier like a hamburger bun. The soy milk milk stick had a chewy texture with soy milk cream filling, which was rich and sweet. The salt bread had a good balance of wheat flavor, sweetness, and saltiness, making it delicious. Although the variety of bread was not extensive, they were all tasty with a good value for money. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I came here in search of curry bread because the curry I had for lunch was unsatisfying. This bakery, which opened this year, offers freshly baked bread regularly. The bread is sold through face-to-face service, with the staff picking out the bread from the showcase. I tried the curry bread with chunks of meat (250 yen) which was slightly warm when I bought it. It had a mild yet flavorful curry suitable for Japanese taste. The bread was oily but crispy and delicious. I also tried the walnut sweet bread (130 yen), a simple walnut bread of decent size and affordable price. It was tasty as well. The store is small and only accommodates two groups at a time. There were a few people waiting to enter when I arrived and when I left. It seems to have quickly become a popular spot! The variety of bread was limited when I visited, so I would like to come back another time to try more.

I'm in the area around Kansho-do Station. My wife sent me a message asking me to buy some delicious bread for breakfast tomorrow. I don't know where she is, but she wants something tasty! I decided to try a few different places and ended up at Congari. When I walked in, there were hardly any bread left, so I quickly picked out two. I got a Soy Milk Milk Stick for 200 yen and a Kurukuru Frank for 180 yen. There were a lot of Melon Pans, but I had to make a quick decision. I'll take these home and compare them with the other bread I bought. The Soy Milk Milk Stick has a rich milk flavor, like an old-fashioned milk cream taste. The Kurukuru Frank has a nice texture with some veins in the dough, but the frank itself was just average. Both were simply delicious, with a local bakery feel. Thank you for the meal!

I'm grateful for the holiday opening! I can enjoy my favorite bread from Congari again this week (so happy~). My go-to is the bean bread, and I'm relieved it's available today (*≧∀≦*). The curry bread with lots of meat is definitely a must-try! (´ー`*)ウンウン

I came close to 2020.8, so I decided to stop by a shop I was curious about. Without setting the navigation, I wandered around the residential area... Oh, there was a flag! This bakery is particular about using local ingredients and making their products without additives. Although it just opened this year, it already has many regular customers. The small shop allows only up to two groups inside at a time. They offer a wide range of items from side dishes to sweet treats. Since it was past lunchtime, many items were sold out. I already had lunch, so I'll save these for breakfast the next day. - Pandemi @ 400 yen: When eaten as is, it has a very simple taste and a good texture. It goes well with cream cheese and would make a good sandwich. - Bean bread @ 130 yen: The sweetened azuki beans are firm with a rich sweetness like brown sugar. The bread itself is light, but with plenty of beans, it overall tastes sweet. - Salt butter roll @ 150 yen: According to my husband, the butter flavor is mild. Maybe it would be different if reheated? Thank you for the meal! Next time, I want to try it earlier in the day and have it fresh out of the oven!

I visited a newly opened restaurant in April, recommended by a friend. It's a small shop on the first floor of an apartment building with a limit of only two groups inside at a time. When I went for lunch, there was one group already there and one group came in after us. The menu had a limited selection but everything looked delicious. They offer Mini Melon Pan, Edamame Pizza, and Salt Butter Maple, all made with 100% local wheat and no additives. They accept PayPay as payment, which is convenient for parents with kids. I bought three items, but my child was eager to eat, so I only managed to take a photo of one item. The Mini Melon Pan was for my child and it was soft and lightly sweet, very tasty. The Edamame Pizza had mayonnaise and bonito flakes under the edamame, giving it a Japanese twist that was delicious. I love salt bread, and this one had a crispy bottom with a generous amount of oil. The combination of maple sweetness and salt bread was perfect. I also noticed they had soft-serve ice cream, so I might come back for that. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

A shop that was different from the casual image in a good way. It was surprisingly cute and authentic. They use 100% Hokkaido wheat and additive-free dough. Although the variety was limited in the early afternoon, I found one that I liked. The walnut grape sourdough for 380 yen was hard to chew, but the walnuts were delicious. The sweet roll for 60 yen had a subtle sweetness and was easy to enjoy. They sell natural yeast BATARD from 1 pm on Wednesdays. I couldn't try it this time as I couldn't finish it all. It seems convenient for the locals. Please enjoy the artwork by Akasa.

Coropon oil can't be underestimated (sweat). It must be tough to open during this time. It's located in a quiet residential street, but luckily there's a visible blue sky parking lot in front, so it was easy to find. Still, it's crowded (sweat). The cause seems to be the restrictions on the number of people allowed inside due to COVID, and the indecisiveness of some customers causing delays. I love the salt butter rolls, but they were sold out when I entered the shop (^_^;). However, while waiting in line, they seemed to be baking something. Just when it was my turn, the rolls were displayed in the case. Freshly baked bread is always delicious. I bought a variety of items, but the salt butter roll was especially delicious (*^^*). The curry bread had a crispy surface and a fluffy interior, which was also tasty. The other salt butter variations were all to my liking (^^♪

I was intrigued by the news that a bakery had opened within walking distance, so I decided to check it out. Since I've been mostly doing takeout since the start of the self-restraint period, I've been eating a lot of bread lately. The spicy cod roe butter bread was surprisingly fluffy, with a slightly crispy outer layer. The butter flavor wasn't very prominent, but the spicy kick from the cod roe stood out the most. The cream bread, filled with homemade custard cream, had a soft and gentle flavor that would appeal to many. Although it looked like there were a lot of meat chunks in the curry bread, there was actually only a small amount of filling inside. Despite the freshly baked texture being enjoyable, the high price of 300 yen made it seem overpriced. The mild and homey curry flavor would be easy for children to enjoy. While the quality of the ingredients and the concept of always having freshly baked bread are commendable, the overall cost performance of the bakery was lacking. The staff were friendly and provided good service, but the high prices stood out as a downside.
