On February 15, I had ramen for dinner and then returned home. My wife finished work and immediately left for a trip. She mentioned that she will be riding a steam locomotive in Kushiro. Since she will be using JR trains, she asked me to drive her to the Oibuto Station. After dropping her off, I realized I haven't eaten yet. There is a ramen shop in Oibuto, but I decided to stop by a convenience store on the way back home instead. I usually buy drinks from Seicomart Mikawa store, but this time I bought food - a pork bowl, fried chicken, and chicken karaage from the Hot Chef section. It took about 20 minutes to drive back home and I enjoyed the meal after arriving! I started with the pork bowl, which was not as good as the ones made with Tokachi pork. The meat was thinly sliced and small, but the sweet sauce was similar to Tokachi pork bowl. However, the onions underneath the meat were not good. Next, I tried the chicken karaage, which I don't think I've had before. It was surprisingly good with a soy sauce-based seasoning and crispy coating. The fried chicken, a classic from Hot Chef, was also delicious. I ended up feeling very full because the portion sizes were too big, especially the rice. The night with my dog was spent enjoying Seicomart's food and sweet potato shochu. It was a delicious meal! Thank you and good night!
