After work, I stopped by a day trip hot spring. It was Yurara, a natural hot spring, as part of the Jalan hot spring stamp rally. When I asked for the entrance fee and meal set, I was told that sales end at 8:00 pm, and I was about 10 minutes late. So, I ordered the entrance fee and meal separately. The restaurant was Kobushi. The last order was until 8:30 pm, so I had my meal before bathing. However, it was full. For some reason, eating and drinking in the tatami room is prohibited... I waited for a seat to open up while walking around. When a seat became available, I looked at the menu and decided on the mixed fry set. Although I was told it would take over 30 minutes due to the crowd, it was served in 20 minutes. The fry consisted of 2 shrimp fries, 2 squid cheese fries, and 1 hokke fry with salad, small dish (namako vinegar), pickles, and miso soup. I started with the fry. It was a bit disappointing that it had cooled down a bit, but it was crispy. The shrimp fry had a lot of batter. The homemade tartar sauce was mostly mayonnaise. I wish it had more egg. It wasn't bad, so I finished it. Thank you for the meal. The set plan is definitely a good deal!

It's been a while since I visited a hot spring. This hot spring is not far from where I live, but I went because my friend wanted to eat soba noodles. It's in Iwamizawa, a snowy area. It's quite snowy here, similar to the snow tunnel in Shiretoko. It's a long weekend so it's somewhat crowded, but the facility is large so it's not a problem. Let's start with the meal. We ordered a set called "Yu

After watching a play in Sapporo, I stopped by a hot spring along the national highway near Iwamizawa to take a bath before having dinner. I entered from outside, sat down comfortably, looked at the menu, and decided. I rang the bell on the table and a waiter came over. The food was brought to me quite quickly. The salad had a perfect balance with the dressing, the fried chicken was crispy and crunchy, and the soba noodles were thin with a good texture, all of them were delicious. Eating soba noodles while out is gentle on the stomach. After relaxing in the bath, I was able to drive safely.

▽Zaru Soba and Mini Tempura Rice Bowl Set 980→480 yen
▽(February 2016) *Used a Groupon coupon for half price on bathing fee + meal from 6 options. The set includes a slightly smaller portion of zaru soba and a mini tempura rice bowl. The soba is thin and well-cooked with good texture, making it quite delicious. The simple dipping sauce has a good balance of flavors. The tempura bowl includes 2 shrimp and eggplant, with a good size for the shrimp and a nice crispy texture. The rice is also good, although the portion is a bit small, it is a satisfying tempura bowl.
▼Impressions▼
(February 2016) Located on the outskirts of Kamihoromui, just before the entrance to the center of Iwamizawa along National Route 12, this 24-hour natural hot spring facility has a dining area called Kobushi. This time, I used a Groupon coupon for the bathing fee and meal set. The hot spring facility is quite nice, with a large outdoor bath and a TV, which was a nice touch. The dining area is spacious with mostly booth seating. I chose the set from a fixed menu of 6 options. The soba and rice bowl were surprisingly delicious for this type of facility, although at the regular price of 980 yen, the portion may feel lacking in satisfaction. However, I am satisfied with being able to enjoy the hot spring and meal at a discounted price with the coupon. I would like to visit again for the hot spring experience.
