The staff is young and friendly. It's a thriving restaurant rooted in Jimoti. The first floor has a counter, semi-private rooms, tables, and raised seating areas. We were guided to the second floor, which looked like a large banquet hall from a traditional inn. It felt like drinking at a friend's house, where you could lay down on futons. You call the staff for drink orders, but for food, you write it on paper and order. The stairs can make you dizzy and speed up the drunkenness. Even though it's a dining bar, there is a wide variety of options like sashimi, skewers, and snacks. There is only a small selection of sake, all from Hokkaido. We all shared a bottle of Ichinokura (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛ The menu includes both Japanese and Western dishes. We found a kind of punishment game to start with: "Cheese, smoked duck, edamame." It's kind of like Italian w Russian takoyaki. This is a punishment game. You can order just one piece, so you can choose the flavor for the number of people. "Death sauce, mustard." It looks like a regular takoyaki, right? Once you take the center, you either hit the spicy part, which is beyond deliciously spicy and just painful. If you don't hit it, you'll feel the chewy texture of the soft dough and the octopus. I hit it, so I had to try Russian takoyaki again. The salted fish roe costs 100 yen, which is unusual for Hakodate, but the portion and taste for 100 yen make it worth it. The octopus and wasabi are delicious! Chimom pizza, "cheese + salmon + mayonnaise." It's a unique taste, but this combination isn't bad at all. The crispy bar pizza crust and chewy potato mochi are delicious. I like this potato mochi. It feels like being in an izakaya with dishes like cartilage fried chicken. The men-tsuyu marinated camembert that was posted in the bathroom goes well with wine and sake. The gentle taste makes you feel comfortable enough to fall asleep. Originally, the main focus is on snacks while chatting with the staff at the counter.
