The restaurant is run by a couple, with the husband having worked as a pastry chef for about 30 years. The atmosphere inside is very clean and stylish, with sunlight streaming in through large windows and cool Western music playing. The menu includes dishes like hamburger steak, curry, omurice, gratin, and pasta. Since the husband was a pastry chef, they also offer desserts. I ordered the "Beef Curry & Sausage Set (with salad and soup)" for 1,050 yen and, for dessert, the "Catalana" for 450 yen, along with an "Iced Coffee" for an additional 100 yen when ordered with a meal (or 400 yen alone). The dishes were served in about 10 minutes. The beef curry and sausage were delicious, with a moderately spicy curry filled with tender beef. The crispy sausage paired well with the curry. The salad with watercress, lettuce, and paprika had a crunchy texture, and the cabbage and crouton consomme soup complemented the curry well. The Catalana dessert was recommended by the wife and it was indeed delicious, with a crispy caramelized top and a smooth and rich custard underneath. It was served with fruit sauce and whipped cream, making it a delightful treat. The iced coffee, served in a jar cup, was a generous portion and perfect for enjoying with the dessert. They also offer beer, wine, and appetizers that pair well, making it a great place for evening dining as well!

Napokatsu for 1100 yen. Today's lunch was at Kitchen Pom. It's like a casual Western-style restaurant in town. It was crowded with families during Sunday lunchtime. I was craving for Napolitan since this morning, so I decided to come here when I was nearby. And they had a Napolitan and pork cutlet set! They also had Napolitan bread and omelette Napolitan. So, I went with the Napokatsu. It was served in about 15 minutes. The presentation was nice, like a lovely adult version of a kids' lunch. The pork cutlet made from premium pork was tender and crispy, and I enjoyed the Napolitan as well.

I went to a newly opened Western restaurant near my parents' house. It was located where Popolo used to be, so I was curious about it! My mother had the omurice hamburger, and I had the napo-han hamburger. The hamburger was juicy with a good meaty texture, very satisfying to eat. The napoletana pasta was to my liking, with a strong pepper flavor. The overall taste of the omurice hamburger seemed to be on the lighter side. The new Western restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, not overly fancy but nice. The menu includes hamburgers, pasta, and even a special lunch for adults. They also offer desserts, drinks, and evening menu items. During weekday lunch hours, there were families with children and groups of ladies dining there. They also offer takeout. From the extensive menu, I ordered the "Secret Menu Adult Lunch Omelette Rice for 1,780 yen" and my companion ordered the "Roast Beef Set for 1,250 yen". Our dishes arrived in about 20 minutes. The "Secret Menu Adult Lunch Omelette Rice" included omelette rice as the main dish, along with hamburger, shrimp fry, gratin, salad, dessert, and soup. It was great for those who like variety, and everything was delicious. The "Roast Beef Set" was only available during lunchtime and came with rice, soup, roast beef, hamburger, shrimp fry, soft-boiled egg, salad, and dessert on one plate. Personally, I really enjoyed the omelette rice as it was well-balanced and tasty till the end. The hamburger, which I had high hopes for since I heard the sound of air being pumped from the kitchen, did not disappoint. It was meaty, juicy, and very delicious. The attention to detail in the cooking was evident. My companion couldn't resist ordering the "Strawberry Parfait for 950 yen" after seeing it at another table, and it was indeed beautifully made and very delicious. At the checkout, I also bought two "Egg Tarts for 120 yen" nearby, which were also incredibly tasty. The owner's wife was very friendly, making it a place I would love to visit again.

Although it is located along a main road, it is not a national highway, so it was a new route for us. Upon entering the restaurant, a friendly lady greeted us and led us to a table in the back. The menu had a variety of options, but the lunch set with drink included had three choices that day. The recommended one was the omelet and shrimp fry lunch plate with salad and drink for 1100 yen. Another option was the roast beef + shrimp fry + oyster fry + salad + drink for 1300 yen. We decided on the roast beef lunch set and ordered iced tea as our drink. The iced tea was served generously with plenty of ice. Before our dishes arrived, a cup of soup was served, and shortly after, our plates arrived. The portions were generous and the restaurant quickly filled up with customers. The roast beef plate had two and a half large slices of roast beef, along with oyster fry, shrimp fry, cheese fry, and potato fry. The salad and rice were also included. My companion had the omelet rice with shrimp fry and sausage, with a separate salad. The food was delicious, and despite some minor critiques, we were grateful for the effort put into the dishes, especially considering the reasonable prices. It was a delightful experience to see so many customers enjoying their weekend lunch at this charming suburban Western-style restaurant run by a couple.
