I visited the small pottery and cafe "Arisu Cafe" in Mochidaka, Moirai last November, and it had been a year since then. I hurried to visit because the snow was piling up. Since "Maehama" in Mochidaka did not answer the phone, I searched for restaurants in the Ishikari area and found this place. The building was a three-story house, and the first floor was a garage. I parked my car in front of the garage and went up the stairs to the entrance. Inside, it felt like a completely normal house. I ordered the daily lunch set for two people. The rice was out, so they asked if it was okay to mix in red rice, which turned out to be sweet red beans instead of regular red beans. Despite my wife's dislike for sweet red beans, she managed to finish it quickly when the owner wasn't looking. The food was delicious, with a mild flavor that we enjoyed. The miso soup was a bit strong, showcasing the unique taste of the household. The price was now 1,000 yen, but considering the portion size, it was a good deal. After the meal, we had a pleasant chat with the owner, who seemed to enjoy talking. It was a fun dining experience.
