I wanted to quietly enjoy a meal by the beach while watching the sun set over the sea, so I stayed at "Hamamoku-so" inn. Even though June is not yet in season, I was turned down by every other inn I tried to book, but luckily I was able to get a room at "Hamamoku-so" on the same day. This old inn is run by a couple in their 70s. It has a nostalgic feel, like visiting your grandma's house, so it may not be suitable for those who prefer modern accommodations. The walls in the rooms are thin, so you may hear some noise from the next room. If you appreciate the inconvenience and antiquity, please consider staying here. The meals were as shown in the photos. I think it's a great meal for 6,500 yen for 2 meals. For dinner, we had fresh sashimi, sea cucumber, miso soup with baby clams, and various delicacies from the mountains and sea, which paired well with beer. Breakfast was also satisfying. Walking along the beach in the evening, falling asleep to the sound of the sea, and experiencing the atmosphere by the shore left lasting memories. I hope they continue to run the inn with good health.
