On Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 11:25, despite the hot weather, my family of four, including my son who loves ramen and my kindergarten daughter, went to a restaurant. I had been curious about the "Cold Ryumen" for three years, so I decided to order it, thinking that if we ordered three dishes and shared, everyone could enjoy their favorite. My son, who respects the ramen and miso soup at this place, was considering the set meal and was undecided, but when my wife mentioned "White Ryumen," he immediately agreed. Then my wife asked about the "Mixed Ryumen," which she had also been interested in, and I suggested the miso as well, so she decided right away. Despite it being a bit crowded before noon (as expected for a popular restaurant), we waited a little longer than usual and were served. First, the Mixed Ryumen for 650 yen (miso) was outstanding. It had a subtle garlic flavor and a rich taste, possibly due to the finely ground sesame seeds. I found myself hooked on the loop of "taking one bite and immediately wanting another." The White Ryumen for 650 yen (salt) was also delicious, as expected. The refreshing chicken broth with a gentle vegetable topping in salt base was superb, and the overall lightness was complemented by a deep flavor. The Cold Ryumen for 650 yen was my first time trying it. It had shredded fried tofu, boiled shredded cabbage, and chicken strips. You mix it well before eating. The first bite was delicious, not as cold as I had imagined. The noodles were a bit warm, which was a strange but not unpleasant sensation. The sauce was sweet and savory, with a taste I had never experienced before. My wife said, "I was expecting cold noodles, but this is not like abura soba!" I was puzzled as I had never tried abura soba before. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The soft and gentle texture of the soft-boiled egg with sweet red bean paste, paired with a comforting broth, is excellent. The temperature is 23°C, not too hot but still causing a slight sweat. This beef bowl is the best I've ever had, with a mild flavor that allows you to enjoy it even more by slurping the soft-boiled egg. A satisfying lunch for only 700 yen, thank you for the meal.

Big! Thick! The crispy skin looks delicious, covered generously with a soy sauce sweet and savory sauce. It's best to eat it quickly before it gets soggy, and it tastes amazing. The perfectly crispy texture is outstanding. The shredded cabbage soaked in the soy sauce sweet and savory sauce is also delicious. I usually don't order chicken dishes other than yakitori when eating out, but I took a chance on Nabe Ryu and it was the right choice. It seems like they take their time to cook it carefully, so it might be difficult to make it a regular menu item. I feel lucky to have tried it today. Nabe Ryu's specialty, the "Today's Miso Soup," with natto and tofu (forgot to take a picture), was also great with lots of chopped green onions adding a nice touch to the natto flavor. I am satisfied and happy with the meal. Thank you.

It's great that they are open from the morning. The staff are efficient and pleasant. It's clear that the locals love this place, as customers kept coming in. The breakfast set meal (Japanese) had a wide variety of options, from set meals to individual items. It was a delicious and satisfying breakfast at a great price. It was a bit crowded, so it took longer than expected, so it's best to go when you have plenty of time.

Recently, I felt that it had become even more delicious, so I asked about it. It turns out they started using pork in the soup and changed it to a double soup. I used to like the lighter version without pork, but as I started trying various menu items, I felt that the deliciousness had been upgraded. The "Shiro Ryu Ramen" is a salt-based sauce ramen, and it really showcases the unique character of the owner. The strong sauce toppings, with shredded cabbage as the main ingredient, create an easy-to-eat dish that blends well with the noodles. The carrots and meat are also finely sliced, topped with plenty of white leeks. The sauce stayed hot until the end, without getting watery, making it a very satisfying ramen dish. Before I knew it, I had finished it all. Everything is delicious, so I often visit with friends and family. They also offer takeout bento boxes, which are great value for money. They open at 6:30 in the morning, and there are many breakfast enthusiasts who frequent the place. It's common for them to sell out quickly by early afternoon. If it was nearby, I might go every day. Seriously. Thank you for the meal!

At first glance, you might not know what this mysterious dish is, but it was incredibly delicious. The unique personality of the chef shines through in this dish: Egg Ankake Yakisoba. I saw some interesting reviews and decided to go try it myself. There were many options on the menu, but I chose this one. The noodles were crispy and covered in a generous amount of flavorful sauce, arriving piping hot. The taste was salty with a gentle sweetness from the eggs and a hint of sesame oil. The ingredients were simple: about 6 plump peeled shrimp, thinly sliced bamboo shoots, and green onions. The soup made by the chef without using pork gave the sauce a rounded and flavorful taste. I haven't seen this dish at other restaurants before. It seemed to be a popular choice as many people were ordering it. My friends ordered the Chef's Special and some other items and couldn't stop praising how delicious everything was. It had been a while since I last visited, but the food was still delicious. I need to try all the noodle dishes next time. Thank you for the meal.

Amazing volume! 6-7 slices of pork belly, 1 bag of bean sprouts!? The seasoning is not too strong, and the stir-fried bean sprouts are perfect! The rice just keeps going down. The side dish is cold thick fried tofu simmered in sweet and salty sauce, which balances well with the pork and bean sprouts. The miso soup with fried tofu, tofu, enoki mushrooms, and green onions. The miso soup here is always enjoyable with various ingredients, never getting tired of it. Thank you for the meal.

The miso soup here is always delicious! The grilled silver salmon with a thick texture and sweet salt seasoning is excellent. The beef small bowl has the usual harmony and perfect seasoning. The spinach ohitashi with nametake mushrooms on top is exquisite. The natto soup with fried tofu, tofu, and green onions sprinkled on top is so delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Looking for morning ramen. We also offer a breakfast set at a reasonable price, perfect for single men living alone. I chose the ramen and it was surprisingly rich and delicious, not as light as I expected. Morning ramen is the best! We open early in the morning, so it's perfect for breakfast before work!

In the morning, if you find yourself with some time and craving rice for breakfast, a beef bowl chain is probably the best option. However, Nabe Ryuu is here to save the day. It has become a popular spot for breakfast, with some people even having ramen in the morning. When I visited, the fried chicken I had in mind was already sold out, which was disappointing. With so many menu options, I always find it hard to decide, but this time I ended up choosing "omakase" without much thought. I also ordered a beef side dish. Despite not having white rice, it was still called a beef bowl, making me lose my cool. I was hungry. The "omakase" for the day was mushroom tomato sauce omelette rice, served with miso soup (with shiitake mushrooms and fried tofu) and salad. What an unusual combination. But surprisingly, when I tasted it, everything went well together. The chicken rice inside the omelette was juicy and delicious, and the tomato sauce with shimeji and mushrooms had a light yet flavorful taste. This restaurant prides itself on homemade dishes, and the miso soup had a great broth that was on the lighter side but still had depth of flavor. It didn't overpower the Western-style dishes like the omelette rice. Each dish was delicious on its own. I hope to try the fried chicken next time. Oh, and I also want to try the ramen.

I went to Nabaryu for breakfast! I entered the restaurant a little after 10 am and ordered a meal that felt like a combination of breakfast and lunch. The menu was quite affordable overall. They had three breakfast sets available until 10 am for only 400 yen each. There were also various options like ramen, soba udon, and curry. I decided to go with the "Chef's Special" for 700 yen. I ended up ordering the cold soba noodles and a mini tuna bowl impulsively since the place was quite busy. The food was ready in 20 minutes. The soba portion was generous and the mini tuna bowl was almost a regular size, making me excited to dig in. I started with the soba, mixing in the tempura flakes, fish cakes, and green onions with the dipping sauce. It was delicious and the perfect amount for a satisfying meal. The mini tuna bowl was flavorful, with well-seasoned tuna and finely chopped seaweed adding a nice touch. Overall, the food was undeniably delicious. This place is quite charming, especially since there are not many places open for breakfast. I might just become a regular at this restaurant. It was a delightful meal!

"Eat this dish!" Shrimp and egg thick sauce noodles! Egg sauce yakisoba for 650 yen + daily side dish (namul with chopped seaweed) for 100 yen - Super delicious (full of umami flavor with a Chinese-style thick sauce mixed with beaten eggs!? Topped with large peeled shrimp and crispy fried noodles. This sauce (thick sauce!?) not only goes well with noodles but also with fried rice... or even plain rice, transforming it into a luxurious feast with explosive flavor!? The chopped seaweed in the watercress namul does a great job. The second son had a hamburger for 450 yen + miso soup and rice set for 300 yen - Thick hamburger patty with a soy sauce-based sauce that 98% of young and old customers agree on, making it a satisfying meal. The miso soup with green onions and fried tofu is incredibly delicious. Thank you for the feast."

A restaurant in Akizuki, Asahikawa City. They open from 6:30 in the morning, but this time I visited for lunch. They offer a set meal with rice and miso soup for 300 yen, where you can choose your favorite side dishes to go with it. They also have a daily special set meal, which on this day was "Hokke Fry". I ordered the daily special set meal (700 yen) and added some gyoza (5 pieces) for 250 yen. Even with the additional side dish, it was affordable at 1,000 yen. The food arrived in about 10 minutes since there were customers waiting. The Hokke Fry in the special set meal was delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The side dishes included simmered vegetables and miso soup with mushrooms, which were also tasty. The set meal was a good deal at 700 yen with a generous amount of fresh vegetables. The gyoza, though a bit small, were filled with vegetables and reasonably priced at 250 yen for 5 pieces. The restaurant prides itself on homemade dishes with a good balance of flavors. It's a great place for a casual meal, whether for breakfast or lunch!

On 22/02/12, I had "Nabariyu Ramen (Soy Sauce) for 500 yen & Homemade Croquette for 100 yen" for lunch on my day off. My wife and daughter were not home on a Saturday afternoon. I heard rumors of good value for money, so I decided to check it out. First, I read the menu. It was indeed cheap. You could get a single dish or set meal for 450-700 yen. And they open at 6:30! It made sense that they offer a 400 yen breakfast set. I ordered the soy sauce ramen at the top of the menu. I also added the homemade croquette available only on weekends. I actually love croquettes. The food arrived quickly. I started with the ramen. The soup was light and tasted like a cafeteria-style broth. Maybe they put a lot of vegetables in the base? It had a prominent sweetness. The wavy noodles were softer than typical Asahikawa noodles, probably with a higher water content. The sweet and salty braised pork belly was like a substitute for chashu. The menma was the standard salted type in Asahikawa. The croquette filling was minced meat, potatoes, and onions. It had a simple and lightly seasoned taste. Both dishes I tried were slightly better than their prices. I thought it was a good place for casual dining. If I have the chance, I'll definitely visit again.

Recently, on weekends, my family and I have been exploring dining out. We decided to drive to an area near the distribution center that we rarely visit. The first restaurant we came across was called Nabaryu. I vaguely remembered seeing it on a food review website before. I recalled that they serve ramen early in the morning. There was a parking lot in front of the restaurant where about 3-4 cars could park. Upon entering, we were greeted with hand sanitizer for disinfection. We were directed to choose our own seats, so we opted for a table slightly raised. The menu offered ramen and set meals. The set meals were interesting, with options like miso soup and rice for 300 yen, with additional side dishes to choose from such as hamburger, ginger pork, and chicken cutlet. The ramen looked delicious, especially considering the affordable prices. Soy sauce and salt ramen were 500 yen, miso ramen was 600 yen, and the chicken cutlet curry was popular. I felt like trying everything on the menu. I decided to order the miso ramen and curry side dish, while my wife wanted the soy sauce ramen with a croquette, which is only available on weekends. The curry side dish only came with the curry sauce, so we ordered rice to go with it. Many solo male customers were dining in, and some even walked to the restaurant. It seemed like a local favorite spot. The menu also mentioned that side dishes were only available on weekends, which made me think that there were many workers in the distribution center area. The miso ramen had bean sprouts and pork, which was not chashu. The soup had a slight spiciness but was not overpowering, with a strong miso flavor and a hint of sweetness, almost like it had mirin in it. It tasted really good. The noodles were thin and cooked al dente, complementing the soup well. The seasoned pork on top enhanced the overall flavor. The soy sauce ramen was light and brought out the umami of the broth. The curry was like a typical set meal curry, but with a slightly elevated taste. The portion of rice was surprisingly generous. The croquette was made of mashed potatoes, large and fluffy, with a subtle buttery flavor. It was lightly seasoned, so adding sauce or soy sauce would be a good idea. The total bill came to 1400 yen, which was surprising considering the amount of food we received. The staff, consisting of a man and a woman, were friendly and welcoming. They thanked us as we left and encouraged us to come back. Their hospitality made us want to return for sure. We plan to order the chicken cutlet set meal next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Today, this ramen shop opens early in the morning (6:30 AM) and also offers a morning menu. It's a great business hours for people working night shifts. I ordered the "Nabaryu Ramen" (soy sauce) for 500 yen. The prices for all the menu items are wallet-friendly. The ramen was served in just 15 minutes. It looks a bit different from Asahikawa ramen. The soup has a cloudy appearance, with a slight hint of Japanese influence mixed with Chinese flavors. The soy sauce flavor is light and mellow. The bamboo shoots are well-seasoned and there's a generous amount of them. Instead of chashu, there's pork belly slices on top, which are not seasoned. The noodles are thin, low hydration, and slightly curly, with just the right firmness. Overall, it was a healthy and satisfying bowl of ramen.

I finally visited "Nabaryu" in Akizuki, Asahikawa City, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Egg Ankake Yakisoba for 600 yen" that I was looking forward to. First, I was surprised by the plate full of golden fluffy sauce, and upon closer inspection, I found plenty of large shrimp in it. The sauce contains plump shrimp and crispy bamboo shoots, with a gentle seasoning of umami salt. The noodles are crispy and well-baked, and they are incredibly delicious when mixed with the flavorful sauce. It's almost a shame that it only costs 600 yen. I'm completely hooked and will definitely be coming back.

This is a morning ramen in Asahikawa. I had the Shiro-ryu ramen (salt) at "Nabaryu" located at 2-2-10-2 Akizuki, Asahikawa City (600 yen). It is topped with plenty of shredded white leeks and carrots. It has a thickened sauce-like consistency. The ramen also contains pork. Nabaryu opens at 6:30 am, allowing you to enjoy morning ramen. This is my third visit to this place. The ramen at Nabaryu has evolved, with a new double soup made of pork bones and dried sardines introduced on June 22nd. The menu has changed slightly since my last visit, with some prices increasing. The ramen set is no longer available, but there are new menu items as well. The ramen I had was delicious, with a slightly sesame oil-flavored soup that included pork bones. The evolved Nabaryu ramen is worth a try for breakfast! Thank you for the meal.

Today, I came wanting to eat chicken soba and gyudon with miso soup, but as a meat lover, I was drawn to the meat set. When I asked the owner why chicken soba instead of duck soba, he said, "Oh, I always made chicken noodles so..." It didn't really matter. The soba broth is on the sweeter side, and the simmered onions with chicken add to the sweetness. The preparation is meticulous, but I think it would be even better with a little vinegar to add some freshness. The gyudon is decent with a sauce mixed with plenty of onions, and the flavor is on the lighter side (so you can still slightly taste the beef's fatty smell). I think more than half of the guys would want to add soy sauce. The generous amount of pickled ginger in the photo does a great job as well, adding to the overall kindness of the meal.

I visited for breakfast. [Ordered items] Morning set meal (Japanese) 400 yen x 2 Morning set meal (Western) 400 yen Natto 50 yen It felt like a proper breakfast! The rice portion was just right for women, I think. The daily side dish was nikujaga (sweet soy beef and potato stew). The potatoes were sweet and sticky! For 400 yen, the volume and taste were really good! Local customers kept coming in one after another, giving it a hidden gem vibe ☺︎
