I visited for lunch and ordered the Hirekatsu Ebi Fry set. You sprinkle your own sesame seeds and make your own sauce. The Hirekatsu was fluffy with a crispy coating, very delicious. Since it was lunchtime, I had a non-alcoholic drink. The shrimp was firm and the coating was light. It was tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming for a solo female diner. Perfect for a quick stop during shopping.

Tonkatsu Tazumura at Daimaru Sapporo was the chosen spot for a meet-up with my parents before a dome live event. We decided to head to the gourmet floor in accordance with the opening time. At home, we tend to avoid oily foods, so we decided to go all out with some deep-fried dishes to boost our energy! We opted for the "Negi Oroshi Katsu set", which featured a crispy and juicy pork loin cutlet topped with plenty of grated daikon radish and green onions. The ponzu sauce container was designed to be easy to hold with a recess for the thumb. The cutlet was quite thick and generously sized, making it quite substantial when held with chopsticks. When topped with grated daikon radish and green onions, it became quite tall, requiring big bites. The tenderly fried meat paired perfectly with the refreshing combination of daikon radish, green onions, and ponzu sauce. The soup was a hearty pork miso soup, and the side dish of simmered burdock root was well-seasoned. The rice and cabbage were free for refills, perhaps to cater to those who enjoy eating lots of rice. Although we couldn't indulge in seconds due to our full stomachs, we were satisfied with the substantial tonkatsu set meal. The service at the department store restaurant was a bit lacking, but the meal was delicious.

On a certain holiday, I decided to join the line of people waiting in front of a tonkatsu restaurant on the 8th floor of Daimaru department store, which I usually tend to overlook. The restaurant was not very spacious, with small and large tables. The background music was faint, as if coming from a distance. I ordered the "Kurobuta pork loin cutlet set meal (2180 yen)", which seemed to have increased in price by about 200 yen overall compared to what I had researched beforehand. The tonkatsu had a fine bread crumb coating that was crispy, and the pork meat, although I couldn't really distinguish the benefits of Kurobuta pork, was tender with a slight chewiness. The fat had a light sweetness to it. The special sauce was rich and not overly salty, with a hint of ground white sesame. The cabbage, which was refillable, was slightly crunchy and served with a dressing made with shiso leaves. Other side dishes included sweetened kinpira burdock, pickles, onions, radish, and burdock in miso soup. The rice, which was also refillable, had a sticky and slightly chewy texture. Considering the average price range of tonkatsu dishes nowadays, this meal was not overly expensive, but I might opt for a cheaper and more filling option next time. It was a satisfying meal.

I wanted to eat tonkatsu for lunch, but when I arrived and found out the restaurant was closed, I ended up eating something else. So, I decided to have tonkatsu for dinner at Daimaru. I asked them to leave out the cabbage as I have allergies. It's really convenient that they are flexible with special requests nowadays. I feel bad wasting food, so I usually try to finish my meal. My husband would just leave it, but with friends, I hesitate a bit in this day and age. This time, I chose pork fillet and shrimp fry. They were crispy and delicious. My friend said that fried food tastes better when eaten outside (laughs). It's true, when you don't have to worry about cleaning up, fried food from restaurants is a real treat.

I went to Daimaru to buy souvenirs for customers!! It was lunchtime, so I avoided the crowded Stella side and went to Tonkatsu Tazumura on the Daimaru side!! Yes!! It's nice that the tonkatsu and cabbage are separated (^_^) I'm all fueled up now \(//∇//)\

On the 8th floor of Daimaru Sapporo, there is a restaurant with 8 table seats. When I first entered, I hesitated a bit because there was not a single customer. However, within 15 minutes, all tables were filled with customers, which was surprising. I ordered the pork cutlet set meal. The tonkatsu was thinly sliced and stacked before being fried, resulting in a soft texture. The sauce was thick like tonkatsu sauce. It came with a side of fresh vegetable salad and miso soup, which was nice. The rice was also delicious.

While shopping at Daimaru, I decided to have lunch at Tazumura for the first time because I was craving tonkatsu. I ordered a combination of fillet and loin. The portions were quite generous, and I was happy to see that it came with a small side dish as well. The fillet was tender and light, which was really satisfying. The loin was not too fatty and easy to eat. The breading was crispy and delicious. I also enjoyed the almond jelly dessert. It was a very satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

Sapporo Station is a tonkatsu specialty restaurant located in Daimaru. As a restaurant in a high-end department store, they offer a variety of fried dishes including different types of meat and seafood. There are also various set menus to choose from, which adds to the enjoyment. This time, I chose a set that included loin cutlet and side dishes. It has a satisfying volume, and having side dishes along with the cutlet prevents it from feeling a bit lonely on its own. The cutlet was fried just right, with a nice meaty aroma that made it delicious. The flavors of the side dishes were neither too strong nor too weak. It seems like you can get refills of rice and miso soup. The fact that there is a mortar and pestle included adds to the fun!

I went shopping at Daimaru and decided to have lunch. It's been a while since I last came here, but it seems quite crowded today. I ordered the shrimp cutlet set for 1680 yen. The breadcrumbs are crispy and fragrant, but the meat itself didn't impress me much. However, the service here is good. You can request dressing or mayonnaise for the salad, and you can also order Pu-erh tea after the meal. Although the Pu-erh tea is served in a small teacup.

These days, department stores seem relatively empty, so I was able to slip in during lunchtime. I tried the most expensive dish, the Kagoshima black pork loin. It had a crispy coating of coarse breadcrumbs. It was a bit overcooked - the coating was slightly burnt and the meat was well done. The flavor was good, but it was a bit pricey. It's a shame. That's the overall feeling.

JR Sapporo Station is directly connected to DAIMARU's restaurant area. Among the many options such as Japanese, Chinese, and Italian cuisine, I chose to dine at this particular restaurant. I was seated at an available table. I ordered the "Ebi Rosu Katsu Teishoku" that was displayed at the entrance. Looking around, there were many four-person tables, creating a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. There were two large prawns on top of the pork cutlet. I started by trying the second pork cutlet from the left. The meat had a solid texture and a delicious flavor even without dipping it in sauce. Next, I grated the sesame seeds in the bowl and poured the table sauce over the pork cutlet. Just a little of this sauce transformed the flavor of the pork cutlet. It was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. Now, for the prawns, I dipped them in tartar sauce. The crispy coating contrasted nicely with the soft and fluffy texture of the prawns inside. The tartar sauce had a perfect balance of saltiness and acidity. The "Ebi Rosu Katsu Teishoku" cost 1,680 yen including tax. The tea served instead of water was easy to drink at room temperature.٩( ᐛ )و

In the restaurant area of Daimaru, prices tend to be high due to the atmosphere, but this place is not much different from a regular tonkatsu restaurant. It's easy for a solo diner to come in. I ordered the Hirakatsu made with Kagoshima Kurobuta pork for 2,200 yen. The skin is crispy, and the meat is thick. You can choose your sauce, so I tried the thick sauce and tartar sauce. Rice, miso soup, and cabbage are all-you-can-eat.

I was curious about the tonkatsu restaurant at Daimaru, so I visited for the first time! Whether it's a yakiniku or tonkatsu restaurant, my go-to for the past 10 years has been to enjoy it with grated ponzu sauce, so I ended up ordering an extra serving. However, I couldn't resist the temptation of the sesame in the suribachi (grinding bowl) and ended up having a few pieces with sauce as well. The sauce was delicious too! I spotted a lady who ordered her tonkatsu without rice, just like me, a true Madam! Truly impressive for Daimaru. It might take me another 25 years to reach that level. Of course, I had extra rice and miso soup. I'm not a big fan of red miso, but it had pieces of tofu in it, which was a nice touch. If I have the chance to visit again, I want to try the black pork next time.

When I suddenly crave tonkatsu, I always end up wanting to have "katsu curry." If you're craving katsu curry, which would you choose? A curry specialty shop's katsu curry or a tonkatsu specialty shop's katsu curry? This time, I felt that katsu curry at a curry specialty shop is better, so I visited "Tonkatsu Tazumura Daimaru Sapporo Store." The loin katsu set with Smile Pork from Tobetsu-cho costs 1,836 yen, and the shrimp loin katsu set costs 1,620 yen. The curry alone costs 237 yen. Although the tonkatsu was delicious, I felt a bit disappointed. I've decided to avoid having curry at tonkatsu specialty shops in the future. If I crave delicious tonkatsu again, I will definitely visit this place. Thank you for the meal.

For the past few months, I have been living a strict lifestyle in preparation for a medical examination. While waiting for my appointment, I searched for where to go and ended up here with a burst of laughter! I was craving oily food and something flavorful for my mouth. I found a tonkatsu restaurant owned by Daimaru. It is located in the restaurant area of Daimaru. It was my first time here. The glossy appearance of the donburi on their website looked delicious, but in the showcase, it seemed a bit cloudy. Nevertheless, I ordered the slightly more expensive hirekatsu donburi! My husband followed suit and ordered a regular katsudon. The visual presentation was just like on the website. When I took a bite, the delicious broth seeped out, sweet and savory. The meat was tender and delicious. We exchanged a piece of each other's donburi, and his katsudon was also delicious! It was a satisfying meal! Thank you for the feast!

I visited "Tadumura" after a long time and found a special menu of 3 oyster fries + fin cutlet + shrimp fry set for ¥1650, not on the regular menu. The food was served in 7-8 minutes after ordering, with the shrimp and fin cutlet being golden brown in color. The oyster fry, however, seemed to have been fried multiple times, with a thick oily batter and lacking a good flavor. The rice and miso soup were lukewarm, and the cabbage was watery on the plate. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Tadumura!

I had a health check-up in the morning. I hadn't eaten anything for 23 hours since yesterday afternoon. During the interview, I was told that my uric acid level was high and advised to avoid fatty foods. Despite this, I ordered the Tonkatsu, Smile Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal without hesitation, as it is made with pork from Tobetsu Town. It was served soon after, and I grated some sesame seeds and mixed them with the sauce. The meat was tender, thick, and had just the right amount of fat. The aroma of sesame was delightful. The fat was not overwhelming and had a light texture. The lean meat had a mild flavor, and I wished it had more of the meaty taste. The miso soup was a red miso pork soup and it was very delicious. Being hungry, I finished it quickly. Thank you for the meal.
