I went to share the flavors of China and Xinjiang with my friend! It was really close to the authentic experience, and I was very satisfied. I wondered if the black vinegar, chili, and Sichuan pepper were all sourced from China. I ordered the noodles separately for 150 yen and paired them with the dishes, which was great! There were quite a few Chinese people in the restaurant. Each person spent around 1000 to 1500 yen.

I was looking for halal food for a friend, so I decided to visit this place. The sweet and sour pork was very delicious! The stir-fried lamb with cumin was full of spices and was my friend's favorite. It seemed like there were many Chinese customers as well. We ordered using a QR code. I would love to visit again. I had been curious about this Qingzhen cuisine restaurant, and it had somehow become an official Tabelog site. I made a reservation and visited alone. When dining solo, it's always a dilemma about what to order. Since it was an extremely hot day, I felt like having something refreshing like Liangpi, but in the end, I decided to go for the Xinjiang Dapanji. Although the Dapanji is meant for two people, I was pretty hungry, so I thought I would take on the challenge. I also added extra wide noodles that are thicker than regular rice. The Dapanji arrived in a large bowl, piled high—definitely more than I could eat on my own. It contained chunks of chicken, but the main ingredient was potatoes. Along with red and yellow bell peppers, green peppers, and onions, the base of the sauce seemed to be tomato, but it also had a miso-like flavor, maybe from doubanjiang. There were only a few chili peppers, but a lot of Sichuan pepper, making it numbing and spicy. The flavor was rich and quite salty. The large-cut potatoes were fluffy and tasted sweet. The noodles were wide and flat, thick enough to chew rather than slurp. It had been a while since I had Dapanji, and it was delicious; I finished about 70% of it but couldn’t quite finish it all. Most of the staff did not speak much Japanese. Ordering was easy, though, since it was done via a QR code on my smartphone, so that wasn't an issue.
