Nice to meet you! It seems like the customers who just finished playing golf are already in a group and lively. Since there are only two of us, we sat at the counter. The tongue dish was delicious. The black wagyu beef was a bit disappointing. I think I'll go back to my usual restaurant.

Beef tongue is the best!

I previously introduced this restaurant on this blog, and now I hear that Hormone Sakaba Hanakawa Yakiniku En is celebrating its 1st anniversary. To commemorate the opening, from 5/11 to 5/31, they are offering several types of meat each day for only 100 yen (for middle school students and older, up to 2 plates per person). I went there right away. During this anniversary festival, they do not offer their usual all-you-can-drink option. Instead, all drinks are half price. It's a good opportunity to try drinks that are not usually included in the all-you-can-drink menu. The first drink needs to be ordered for each person. On the day I visited, the 100 yen menu included: beef liver, beef fillet, pork tongue, pork spleen, chicken seseri, flavored Genghis Khan, half-sized egg soup, half-sized wakame seaweed soup, and half-sized rock seaweed soup (the items we ordered are in green). Ordering 4 plates for 400 yen is quite cheap! However, due to the current situation, items like yukhoe and liver sashimi were not available. The staff explained that it was a bit of an issue to serve them. One of the things I like about this restaurant is their excellent customer service. They are always friendly and attentive. Even when cooking meat with a lot of oil that causes flames, they quickly bring ice to extinguish it. If there are young children, they provide coloring sheets. On this day, even though I was not drinking alcohol, my husband ordered a drink, and when I didn't order anything, they kindly offered me water or hot tea. It may seem like common sense for customer service, but not all restaurants do these simple things. This kind of service is greatly appreciated by customers. We will definitely visit this restaurant again. It's becoming our go-to place for yakiniku.
