It's quite rare♪幸寿恵栗山 has been a long-standing sushi restaurant, but since the head sushi chef passed away, they have been mainly serving lunch as a set meal restaurant. I don't always leave reviews, but I often use their bento boxes. Today, it's a special opportunity for a night party since they don't normally operate at night. It's been over 10 years since I last sat in the second-floor tatami room - the place is well-maintained and I like it. When I sat down, several dishes were already lined up. After the usual greetings and such, it's time to eat♪ The dishes were simple yet solid. The food is lightly seasoned and has a healthy image. The sashimi was fresh and the tempura had a nice crispy texture. The highlight was the hot pot - a very light salt-based broth with cod as the main ingredient, complemented by a delicate flavor. Finally, sushi was served - solidly made nigiri. I had quite a bit of alcohol, but it's been a while since I finished all the food. I don't need a lot of food, this amount was just right. This place is great for people like me♪ I may not have many opportunities, but I'd love to have another party here. It was really delicious!! Thank you♪

Today, I had to work from morning till night, and since I couldn't leave the site, I decided to have lunch with my colleagues who delivered bentos for everyone. In my area, there isn't a bento shop that delivers to far places, but the shop "幸寿恵" seems to be flexible for big orders. This time, I requested a bento for 800 yen, which mainly consisted of grilled salmon and a small pork chop. It also had simmered vegetables, rolled omelette, pickles, and salad, making it a simple bento. Considering the price, the amount of side dishes felt a bit lacking, but the grilled salmon was delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, especially considering the delivery service provided. ------------------------------------------ Today, I had the last meal at 幸寿恵, where I had previously enjoyed their daily lunch specials. This time, I had a bento box as I was too busy to go out for lunch. The bento featured hokke fish as the main dish, and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The nikujaga (meat and potato stew) was also delicious, and the homemade feel of the warm bento was delightful. As the year-end approaches, I plan to spend a quiet New Year's at home, so this meal was a nice way to wrap up my dining experiences for the year. ------------------------------------------ Formerly known as 幸寿司, the restaurant has been rebranded as "幸寿恵" and has reopened with a new concept. The lunch menu features a daily bento box, and the food is prepared fresh and served piping hot. The main dish for today was a hamburger steak, which was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection. Additionally, a side of grilled hokke fish was provided, adding to the generous portion of the meal. The flavors were well-balanced, and the food was delicious, with a focus on bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Overall, the meal was satisfying and filling, with a variety of dishes to enjoy.

August 22, 2022 [Delivery] After spending the weekend on a long drive, it's time to go to work. My wife is working late, so I decided not to bring a bento box. However, it's difficult for me to go out somewhere for work... In that case, let's have a lunch delivery to the workplace. Today's bento box from Kousukei [5th time] is a daily special, so there are no choices. I have no idea what the side dishes will be, but it will mostly be a bento box with grilled fish as the main dish. Today, as usual, it's grilled Atka mackerel flakes. The grilling is perfect as always, nicely plump and the seasoning is excellent. It was the best accompaniment to rice, no need for soy sauce. The standout was the rolled omelette. It had plenty of ingredients like green onions, but again, no need for soy sauce and it was incredibly delicious! The rice itself was cooked very well, and I was once again reassured that the bento boxes here are absolutely delicious. It's a blessing to be able to eat such delicious homemade bento boxes at work. I will definitely rely on them on days when I can't leave my seat. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

2022/5/6 [Delivery] It's been a while since I worked. Well, I had a long weekend, but it feels like I only had one day off, so there's not really a backlog of work. Time is just passing by as usual. Now, I don't have my wife's bento for lunch, so I need to figure something out. I can't go out because I let my colleague take the day off, so I'll have it delivered to the workplace. Fortunately, if you order by around 10 a.m., they will deliver it to your workplace on the same day, which is very convenient. However, you don't know the contents of the daily bento in advance. It's a bit of luck (laughs). Today's bento was grilled fish. Actually, there's a pretty high chance that it will be grilled fish. Today it's white fish, but I wonder what kind it is (laughs). But the taste is exceptional, and the grilling is perfect. When it's grilled fish, it's either here or at Koori, it's incredibly delicious. And the rice here is also very delicious. With delicious fish and rice, that's all you need. I finished it in no time! It's been a while since I had it, but it was still a delicious bento. With things settling down with COVID, I might consider booking a night party in advance. I think they would accept for a small group! It was delicious today too! Thank you for the meal♪

【Delivery】Today, I had a meeting at work in the evening, so I needed to go straight from work and couldn't have my wife make me a bento. Instead, I decided to have a delivery from a place that can deliver to my workplace. It's a great service where they deliver the required number of bento boxes on the same day. Even in the countryside, being able to get delivery is a nice option, even without Uber Eats. However, the bento from this place is a complete surprise as it's different every day, so you never know what you'll get until it arrives. For someone like me who orders occasionally, it can be a bit nerve-wracking. Today, I got a rare two-color minced meat bento with a side dish. Honestly, it was a bit of a letdown for me because the real charm of this place's bento is the grilled or simmered fish. Plus, the minced meat was a bit sweet, and the egg was sweet too. And there was a lot of rice! But once I started eating, the rice itself was delicious, so I ended up finishing it all. The side dishes were bamboo shoot simmered dish and broccoli salad. The egg was still a bit sweet, but I managed to finish it while mixing it with the minced meat. If this bento is priced at 750 yen, then it's worth it, but it would be nice if we could choose between fish or meat. In terms of portion size, I was very satisfied.
