I visited the "Aeon Takikawa Store" and stumbled upon this store by chance. I stopped by around 5 PM on Sunday. The store is located inside the "Aeon Takikawa Store." When you enter from the parking lot entrance, it is at the far back with a large sign above, making it easy to spot. The front is open, making it easy to enter. The atmosphere is refreshing and casual. There are about 30-40 types of bread displayed on shelves and display tables. They have a good variety of savory and sweet bread. The prices are generally reasonable. I bought the "Garlic Cheese France 150 yen (excluding tax)" and had it around 8 PM that day. The "Garlic Cheese France" is shaped like a small baguette. It was surprisingly voluminous for 150 yen. It's like a soft French bread with garlic oil spread and cheese topping. I sliced it about 1.5 cm thick and toasted it. The garlic and cheese flavors were fragrant and quite delicious. It paired well with white wine.

"Sapporo Paris is a bakery originating from Obihiro. It is often located inside supermarkets such as AEON and ARCS. They also use names like 'Granshario' and 'Farine de Paris.' In addition to bread, they also produce Western sweets like madeleines, which are delicious and reasonably priced."

I came to buy bread for dinner. I was in Takikawa for work. This place is inside Aeon Takikawa store. This time, I bought "Young Epi," "Bacon Cheese," and "Cheese Danish Stick." Young Epi was delicious♫ The others were just okay. There were other breads that caught my eye, so I would like to come back and buy them when I'm nearby. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

▼Location▼
Located inside the Aeon Takikawa store along National Route 38 (Higashiodori) in Sapporo.
▼About the Shop▼
Sapporo Paris is a bakery founded in 1952 in Obihiro by the bread-making company Izuyapan. It became a subsidiary in Sapporo in 1972. Due to financial difficulties, it later became a subsidiary of the Yamazaki Group, and in 2011, Izuyapan transferred management to Sapporo Paris. The Takikawa store transitioned from Bonte to the new Sapporo Paris and opened on October 26, 2017. Separate cash registers are used, so you cannot pay together with Aeon.
▼Menu▼
The menu mainly consists of soft bread with a limited variety but at affordable prices.
▼Food Tried▼
▽Cheese Dog 216 yen▽ (January 2018)
A hot dog with cheese on top. The bread has a solid texture leaning towards French style, with a simple Wiener sausage inside, baked on top with gooey cheese. The combination of bread, cheese, and sausage is quite good, making it a delicious bread.
▽Anko Croissant 130 yen▽ (January 2018)
A croissant with sweet red bean paste inside. Baked to a perfect crisp on the outside, with a smooth red bean paste filling that's just right in sweetness. The combination of the dough and paste is good, making it a simple and tasty anko croissant.
▼Impressions▼ (January 2018)
Sapporo Paris, a bakery originally established in Sapporo as a subsidiary of Izuyapan, now under the Yamazaki Group. This particular store used to be a Daiei store, now part of Aeon Takikawa, transitioning from Bonte to Sapporo Paris on October 26, 2017. I visited early in the morning when only a quarter of the bread was available. Despite the simplicity, the bread I tried was good. However, both the bakery and Aeon seemed slow to start the day, so it would be better if they could be more proactive in the mornings.
