The other day, during my Kagawa udon trip, I felt like there was something missing in my udon restaurant hopping experience. That missing element was kama-tama (udon with raw egg). So today, I decided to visit Sanjima Matsumoto in Kadoma City to satisfy my craving for a good kama-tama. I arrived around 10:40 am, before the restaurant opened, and there were already about 10 people waiting in line. A notice by the door mentioned that due to a shortage of staff or rising ingredient costs, they were unable to offer extra large portions. Despite this disappointment, I decided to wait and finally entered the restaurant around 11:20 am. I ordered the delicious red egg with pork kama-tama, two pieces of tori-ten (chicken tempura), and the landlady's chirimen sansho rice. The dishes arrived around 35 minutes later. The udon was incredibly stretchy and chewy, with a rich egg flavor and perfectly balanced saltiness. Mixing in the soy sauce enhanced the flavors even more, combining the sweet simmered pork, strong soy sauce, and rich egg with the perfectly cooked udon. The chirimen sansho rice had a nice touch of sansho pepper without being too sweet, complementing the udon well. The tori-ten was juicy and flavorful as always. The dashi soup was also excellent, matching the high standard set by the rest of the meal. Despite the distance from my home, I always feel glad to have made the trip here for such delicious udon. If the bukkake dashi was a bit stronger, it would have been perfect, but that's just a minor preference. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I ordered the Chicken Tempura Tamago Curry Udon. It came with three large pieces of chicken tempura, which was quite filling. It also came with a side of rice, so you can pour the curry over it for a delicious combination. The business hours are as shown in the photo. The phone is not answered during business hours. I tried calling to confirm my visit, but couldn't get through, so I took a chance and visited anyway. Luckily, they were open. I had tried calling the day before but couldn't get through, so I assumed they were closed and gave up. They only answer the phone after 3 pm.

Finally managed to visit the long-awaited restaurant. I had tried to come several times before, but it was closed for regular holidays or temporary closures, or the line was too long and I gave up. I was indecisive about what to order, but I trusted the reviews and went with the curry udon with pork cutlet. Since it was my day off from work, I treated myself to a bottle of beer as well. The beer arrived first with a complimentary side dish. It was unexpectedly delightful - a shiitake mushroom and kelp simmered dish that was incredibly delicious. It was a nice little surprise. Shortly after, the main udon dish arrived. Other than the substantial pork cutlet on top, it looked pretty ordinary. I took a bite of the cutlet first... it was incredibly tasty, not just your average udon topping. It was crispy and paired perfectly with the curry broth. The broth itself had a balanced blend of spices, sweetness, and umami, making it very flavorful. As for the noodles... they had a firm texture with a perfect bite. They soaked up the flavorful curry broth while still retaining the wheat flavor. It was so delicious, I couldn't find any faults. I would love to come back to try their regular udon dishes like plain udon, kama-tama (udon with raw egg), or bukkake (udon with sauce). I'm sure they are all delicious too. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the meal!

This is my second visit. I arrived around 12:30. There were about 6 groups waiting outside and around 4 groups waiting inside. I got seated after about 30 minutes. The vegetable tempura cold curry udon tempura was crispy and delicious as always. The udon noodles were chewy and a bit difficult to slurp, but very satisfying. The curry udon was spicy and the pork was tasty. It's hot! You can get free rice but I decided not to since I didn't think I could eat it. It's delicious, but the portion size is so big that you may end up feeling too full to move afterwards.

This is Mr. Mitsushima's first post, but it seems to be a repeat visit! Last year, I had the Tartar Chicken Tempura Kimura-kun, but it seems like it's not available this year. I ordered the Tartar Chicken Tempura Udon and the landlady's kimchi, and added a topping of Tai Chiku Tempura. This restaurant is known for its curry udon, but it's too hot in the summer so I usually order the Tartar Chicken Tempura Udon. The udon noodles are firm and satisfying, with a large chicken tempura topping that is very delicious. Next time, I'll come back to try the curry udon! Thank you for the meal♪

Worth lining up for! The curry udon was delicious with flavorful curry and chewy noodles. Despite being a busy restaurant, the staff's hospitality was excellent, leaving me completely satisfied. The tempura was also really tasty. It's worth waiting in line for this place! Delicious. Completely different from the yakiniku restaurant near Midorikoen Station! Had yakiniku on Tuesday night and udon on Wednesday, couldn't offset the calories, but it was delicious anyway.

This was my first visit! I ordered the large shrimp tempura, soft-boiled egg curry udon. I added sweetened fried tofu as a topping, but it seems they made a mistake in the presentation as the tempura was on a separate plate and not on the udon. I was expecting only two shrimp tempura, but was surprised to see a luxurious assortment of tempura! I underestimated it! I usually eat quite a bit, but my stomach was full! Since the mall was just across the street, I thought about buying dinner on the way back, but I was too full and ended up going home without buying anything. What a shame! Next time, I want to try the warm tempura udon noodles!

I visited the shopping mall after a long time and there was a long line, maybe because a new restaurant opened. It took me an hour to get my food. As for the bukkake udon I had today, the udon had 5 stars for its texture, but the broth had 3 stars as it lacked a bit of flavor. The tempura chicken also got 3 stars, I personally prefer the one from another restaurant. The chewiness of the udon got me hooked and I find myself coming back again and again.

Osaka meal ✨ I went back to my parents' house️ and visited the newly opened Lalaport & Outlet in Kadoma️ As usual, it's lunchtime, of course, there are plenty of shops and food courts in the mall in a place I don't know... Of course, I asked the food log teacher️ and found out that there is a udon restaurant with a rating of 3.68 near the mall️ Of course, I will go❗ The time is 12:25 pm‼️ Under the scorching sun, I was about fifth in line?? I can handle this, but it's hot... Anticipating this, there were parasols and fans at the storefront... Feel free to use them... Finally, my turn came and... I was called inside the store, but there was still a line inside the store... Now, this restaurant seems to be famous for curry udon Chicken tempura also has high ratings My wife ordered warm egg and chicken tempura curry udon I ordered parent and child tempura bukkake udon The udon here has an incredibly strong texture❗ It's like the real deal when it comes to eating udon✨ The satisfying feeling of eating is the best✨ However, the chicken tempura is just a bit more delicious than usual Well, it's delicious, but it might be too much for the elderly⁉️ #Mitsushima Main Act #Kadoma #Kadoma City #Kadoma Gourmet #Kadoma Lunch #Osaka Gourmet #Osaka #Osaka Lunch #Osaka Lunch Tour #Main Act #Udon #Udon Shop #Udon Club #Udon Lover #Noodle with Strong Texture #Texture #Strong Texture #Eating Udon #Chicken Tempura #Warm Egg #Curry Udon #Parent and Child Tempura #Bukkake #Bukkake Udon #Udon #Udon Shop #Homecoming #Shopping Mall #Lalaport Kadoma #Mitsui Outlet Park Osaka Kadoma

I had curry udon. The udon was not the slurping type, but rather a thick udon that you have to chew through one by one. It was delicious and popular, with long lines, so I recommend going with plenty of time and patience. I went around 12 pm on a weekday and there was already a line of about 5 people outside the store. After waiting for about 30 minutes under the scorching sun (they provide umbrellas), I finally entered the store, but there was still a wait of 6 people inside. I went for the hot curry udon, but it got really hot while eating, so on a scorching day, I think cold udon might be better. You should go early or they might run out of cold udon. They give you the menu while you're waiting in line, so it's best to decide your order early. There is no parking lot, so those coming by car should park at the nearby LaLaport.

You need to be prepared to wait in line at this shop. Today, I arrived 30 minutes before opening and was the second in line. It was hot, so they let us wait inside the shop and I was able to order during that time. Cold udon takes time to prepare, so you need to be patient, but because I ordered before being seated, it was surprisingly served quickly. Lucky me! I ordered the large shrimp tempura udon (1280 yen tax included) with an additional tempura (220 yen tax included) topping. The tempura was excellent and I was very satisfied.

I slurped down the Curry Udon for ¥920 at Mitsushima Manda in Kadoma City. The burnt taste in my mouth is a must. It's a hot and thick curry broth with plenty of onions and pork belly. The udon noodles are smooth and have a nice chewy texture. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, my partner and I went to Rinku Premium Outlets in Izumisano. On our way back, we stumbled upon this udon restaurant called Sawada Restaurant, not as a recovery but out of curiosity. We arrived around 1 pm, and inside the restaurant, they were playing music by Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi. I ordered the Special Curry Udon for 980 yen, and my partner ordered the Bukkake Udon for 720 yen. Since I was wearing a white T-shirt that day, I requested a paper apron. The dishes arrived in about 15 minutes, and we dug in. The noodles had an amazing chewy texture, almost like gummy bears! And surprisingly, the noodles were very long. The curry was moderately spicy, and as I ate, I started sweating from my forehead. The toppings included onions, Iberico pork, and green onions. The Iberico pork was incredibly delicious and paired well with the curry udon. It was so delicious! I also tried some of my partner's bukkake udon, and the noodles were perfect for the light dipping sauce. The firm texture of the noodles made me chew thoroughly, and I ended up feeling quite full. I usually don't choose udon dishes by myself, but this curry udon was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant for the first time since it moved. The taste is still delicious as always! What surprised me was the change in the noodles. The curry udon had a firm texture that didn't lose to the heat, and the cold noodles in the bukkake style had a great firmness, yet were smooth to eat with a nice throat feel. The quality has definitely improved! The fried dishes are the best!

I visited Mitsushima Shinda, a popular restaurant near Rinku Premium Outlets in Izumisano. The parking was limited, so I parked at the nearby Rinku Premium Outlets and visited the restaurant around 1:30 pm on a weekday. Despite some waiting, I was seated within 15 minutes. I ordered the Oyako-Ten Hiyakake, a cold noodle dish only available during this season. The dish was flavorful and had a generous portion. The broth was outstanding, with a strong and unique taste. The noodles had a firm texture, making them easy to lift with chopsticks. The tempura was also delicious, especially when dipped in salt or the broth. Overall, it was a satisfying meal worth waiting for. I recommend trying the Hiyakake dish if you visit during the summer. The parking fee at Rinku Premium Outlets is 200 yen for 30 minutes. Mitsushima Shinda is definitely a place I would visit again.

The Tsurutama Udon, Atsu Tamago Curry Udon were both very delicious. The Atsu Tamago Udon, even though it said there was no broth, was amazing with the sweet curry and the egg-coated noodles! The original Tsurutama had a flavorful curry with grated yam and egg yolk, it was perfectly delicious! It was crowded at Lalaport, but if you can catch a time when there's less of a line, I would love to go back. It's a shame that the children's udon they used to have is no longer available, but after seeing the notice posted in the store, I couldn't help but feel disappointed yet understanding.

This time, I visited the popular udon restaurant "Mitsushima Shindate" in Kadoma. I finally managed to visit this place, which always has a long line. I heard that their curry udon is very popular, so I came here specifically for that. I arrived when there was only a short line outside, which was lucky. I entered the restaurant 30 minutes later and ordered the "Katsu Curry Udon" (last one available, lucky me!). The menu I ordered was: Katsu Curry Udon (limited quantity): 1,130 yen The curry udon came with a side of small rice, and it was very filling. The curry broth had a strong Japanese flavor with a hint of spices, and it was thick and rich. The noodles were vacuum-sealed and had an amazing chewy texture, unlike any other udon I've had before. The tonkatsu was freshly fried and thick, providing a satisfying crunch. After finishing the udon, I poured the curry broth over the rice and enjoyed it as curry rice. I left the restaurant feeling very full and satisfied. Currently, they are not offering a large serving of noodles, but the regular portion is already very generous. I also tried a bit of my companion's cold udon, and the noodles were extremely chewy, almost like gummy bears.

We planned to go shopping at LaLaport, so we parked at LaLaport and walked about 3 minutes to the parking area. We arrived at 12:20 on a Sunday, and there was no waiting board, so we lined up on the sidewalk. We waited for about 30 minutes, and the line got even longer after us. There is no shade from the sun, so it might be a good idea to bring a parasol in the summer. When we entered the waiting area inside the store, they took our order, and our noodles arrived in about 10 minutes after being seated. We ordered the Katsu Curry Udon and Anagyu Bukkake. The Katsu Curry Udon had crispy fried katsu and a spicy broth. The Anagyu had crispy conger eel, eggplant, shiso tempura, and beef topping. The condiments included grated daikon radish, ginger, lemon, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The noodles in both dishes were very chewy. The attentive service from the staff was also excellent. When we were sharing our noodles, they quietly brought us a separate plate.

- Chicken tempura hot egg curry udon - Beef suki with conger eel tempura topped on bukkake udon I ordered the above two dishes. The curry udon had just the right amount of curry sauce, and I mixed it up like tsukemen. The chicken tempura was quite large, with two pieces. The bukkake udon had a large tempura topping, with plenty of grated daikon radish on top. The noodles were firm and had a satisfying texture. If this restaurant were near my home, I would definitely become a regular customer.

I went to "Lalaport Izumi" and visited the super popular udon restaurant "Mitsushima Matsumoto" for the second time. I arrived at 11:25. There was a line of about 8 people, but the turnover was not very good, so I waited for about 50 minutes under the scorching sun. I ordered the "My Warm Egg Tempura Curry" (1,060 yen). The naming of the "My Series" like "My French" seems to be a parody, right? If you wish, you can get a small bowl of rice. I couldn't help but ask for it. I could hear the energetic voice of "Sarabon" from the kitchen. "Continue!" This is a command given by the head referee in full-contact karate matches like Kyokushin Kaikan to resume the match after an interruption. I couldn't figure out what the "Continue!" meant, but it must be part of the process. Here is the "My Warm Egg Tempura Curry". It's a magma-like scorching hot curry. First, I dipped green onions in the hot soup and then took a bite of the freshly fried tempura. (゚д゚) Delicious!!!!! Oh, and there was a generous amount of thinly sliced pork, which I later found out was Spanish Iberico pork. I left the hot spring egg in the middle and slowly slurped the udon. Because it's curry udon. (゚д゚) Delicious!!!!! I deeply regret not getting a paper apron. I'm actually a bit of a cowardly Mickey Mouse who couldn't speak up. That day, I was wearing a white T-shirt. It was the "Buffaloes 2022 Japan Champions Commemorative T-shirt" that I received from the organizers (selling price 4,000 yen). I paid close attention and managed to keep it safe until the end. I put the leftover warm egg on the rice, poured soup over it, and enjoyed it like a curry risotto. (゚д゚) Delicious!!!!! Here is a past article about "Mitsushima Matsumoto". → http://mickeyjapan.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-789.html

The egg-topped noodles were so delicious that I wish all the udon in the world could be like this. I wanted to recreate it at home, but I couldn't replicate the curry flavor. It had a taste of dashi, and I thought I wanted to eat it all as curry rice. It's a shame to eat such delicious curry with udon.
