The actual rating may be lower, but this place in Hakodate has a unique atmosphere that makes it relatively high in points for the area. Located on the 12th floor of a hotel, this authentic bar serves drinks priced around 1400 yen. It opens at 9:00 PM and last order is at 11:30 PM, so the operating hours are quite short. The bar doesn't have a counter, but mainly consists of tables and a glass counter, giving it a lounge-like atmosphere. The city may not be a bustling metropolis, but you can enjoy a drink with a nice view through the glass windows.

The bartender on the top floor of the Lavista hotel is also there, and the atmosphere at the BAR overlooking Hakodate Mountain and the night view of the port is truly authentic. Enjoying a drink in a window seat while looking at the night view is a luxurious experience. The dried fruit assortment served as a snack was delicious. I wanted something sweet to drink, so I tried the Kahlua Milk. It was made with care and tasted amazing. When I stayed in the summer, they also had seasonal cocktails, making it a place you can enjoy anytime.

First time at the bar on the 12th floor of La Vista Hakodate! I don't usually go to bars, but I decided to check it out while traveling. The Martini (1100 yen) was strong and delicious, haha. The olives were nice and salty too! It was nice to drink while enjoying the night view of Hakodate. Thank you for the meal!

This is a bar located in the Rabista Hakodate. I have been there a few times and they offer all-you-can-drink options. I received a free drink voucher as part of the accommodation service, so I decided to go. I couldn't use the voucher for the Halloween-themed cocktails, but I had a luxurious time enjoying the night view.

This is a bar located on the 12th floor of the La Vista Hakodate hotel, where you can enjoy delicious drinks while enjoying a great view. I used a coupon and got a decent amount of nuts, which filled me up. I tried the hotel's original cocktail and the non-alcoholic Cinderella.

Thin ice was forming and the milkshake was quite hard to drink. For other emoticon explanations, please check the profile. Ravista Hakodate Bay Hotel's bar on the upper floors gives off a vibe of being expensive, so I usually don't go there. But on this day, the heavy snowfall made me lose the motivation to go out for a drink... So, reluctantly, I visited the bar. Located in the Bay Area, the view from the window is absolutely beautiful. There are counter seats lined up by the window, emphasizing the scenery, which is quite impressive. As for the cocktails, there was a separate menu that featured only the bar's original creations in pouches with photos for easy understanding. Honestly, the taste was just average... The value for money is not great. The service was also lacking, with only one person behind the counter and another serving, although there were a few empty seats. The interior of the bar is spacious, so you need to make noticeable gestures to get their attention. It might be okay for a casual date, but not something I would recommend for a special occasion.

Hotel La'vista Hakodate Bay's 12th floor "Sherry's Bar" Hakodate overnight trip. Since my accommodation room was on the 12th floor here, I passed by this bar on my way back to the room after getting off the elevator. I stopped by for a bit. It was Sunday afternoon around 8:30 pm. There were two groups of guests already, and I was guided to a counter by the window. I tried the October limited edition original cocktail. It had a yuzu and pear flavor. From the window, I could see Hakodate Mountain to the left and the lights of the seaside town right in front of me. Thinking about the night view of Hakodate Mountain that I saw earlier, I realized that this hotel is also part of that night view. Now, I enjoyed the night view of the bay area from the opposite side. The cozy atmosphere of the bar matches the atmosphere of Hakodate's town. This is a recommended bar for couples. After drinking, I could return to my room in about 20 steps (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

Travel to the northern country. A cocktail to savor while enjoying the Hakodate night view in a calm space. It would be the perfect bar to spend a relaxing evening in Hakodate. Located in the La Vista Hakodate Bay, which offers the most popular breakfast buffet in Japan, this lounge bar. As a popular hotel, the atmosphere of the hotel itself is good, and the service is polite. If you sit at the counter by the window, you can enjoy the night view of Hakodate's red brick warehouses and port. It may be cruel to compare it to the night view from Mount Hakodate, one of Japan's three major night views, but as a night view of a port town, it is a sufficiently wonderful view. There is nothing particularly noteworthy about the taste, but the cocktails at the lounge are probably like this. However, despite being a hotel bar, the prices are quite reasonable, and it is a bar that is satisfying enough to immerse yourself in the night of your journey while enjoying the night view. The disappointing point is that hotel guests can enter in their room attire. In that respect, the atmosphere is somewhat compromised. If you head towards Goryokaku in Hakodate, there seem to be popular bars. Since taxi fares are also cheap, it would not be a significant amount to take a taxi back and forth from Hakodate Station. However, if you are staying nearby and looking for a good atmosphere nearby, it is worth visiting this bar.------------------------------------------------Previous cocktails and preferences☆☆☆- Yuki no Kuni (2014/09)- Carol (2014/09)- La Vista Sling (2014/09)

~~Revisited in July 2013 after the Matsuge incident in May! The room is on the 12th floor, same as the bar, with the 13th floor having a sky open-air bath. This time, maybe due to a cold, I found myself weak with alcohol. After just one cup of sake and plum wine at the first place, I was already feeling sleepy. It's not always safe to fall asleep thinking it's the same floor as the bar, so be careful. This time, I went a bit overboard with my makeup, looking either like a New Half or a shady snack bar hostess. Anyway, I headed to the bar. Since it was during the Flower Fair, I tried the "Hakodate Ocean" for 1500 yen. The spoonful felt like alcohol had been injected into my body as I enjoyed the sherbet cocktail. Have you ever eaten sherbet while drinking? I forgot about the alcohol and the view, and ended up finishing it too quickly. Oh, I was too hasty. The pizza, enjoyed while looking at the night view, became hard towards the end, making a crispy sound like eating senbei, ruining the atmosphere and BGM of the bar. So, I recommend having it while it's warm. This time, I think I was able to have a good time on my revisit. ~ ~First visit in May 2013~ After drinking too much at the first izakaya, I fell asleep... At 24:30, 10 minutes before closing, I hurriedly entered this bar on the 12th floor of the Livista Hakodate. I wasn't planning on this at all. I was supposed to be more put together, but it seems like I might lose my eyelashes. I scolded myself for being a bad woman... haha. I sat at the counter, and the rain had completely stopped, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful night view of Hakodate. I was served a glass of finely cut fruits in a champagne glass. It was a long spoonful of various fruits like ichigo, kyui, pain, and orange, while sipping on the cocktail. It seems that there is also an exhibition of works by Kenichi Kuritani, who paints the natural landscapes of Hokkaido. The night view of Hakodate was so beautiful that I didn't notice... (mistaken) I was too sleepy to notice the gallery... (corrected) Since the bar is open late, I recommend visiting even after taking a bath, for a second or third place to visit. ===========

Hakodate Solo Travel Series Vol. 9 After surviving the busy year-end and beginning of the year, I decided to treat myself by taking a break from my housewife duties and enjoying an early Golden Week in Hakodate. During my last business trip to Hakodate in the fall, I couldn't do any food exploration, so this time I wanted to visit my favorite restaurants without anyone bothering me! This solo trip was a revenge mission, haha. On a certain day in April 2013, I made my first visit. This time, I stayed at Hotel Resol Hakodate BAY. The bar on the 12th floor caught my attention. After experiencing "solo beer hall" and "solo revolving sushi" one after another, I decided to try "solo bar" next. So, I headed to the 12th floor. I arrived almost at the 8:00 pm opening time, and there was only one other group of customers. However, the counter by the window was available, so I had the beautiful night view all to myself. Today's orders: - Assemblage (1500 yen): An original cocktail made with champagne and apple liqueur. It had a refreshing and crisp taste, with champagne bubbles rising beautifully. - LAVISTA Hakodate BAY 5th Anniversary Cocktail "DREAM" (1500 yen): A drink recommended by the bartender, a limited edition cocktail made with strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and champagne. It was fruity and refreshing, and I enjoyed it. I also received some sweet potato chips and chocolate with almonds as a charm. Both were delicious. The chocolate was particularly good. After about 40 minutes, more customers started coming in, and the seats were filling up. It was a great experience, and being alone at a bar while traveling didn't bother me at all. I completed my mission of experiencing "solo bar" for the first time. I bought a canned beer from a vending machine to enjoy in my room. Overall, I may have spent a bit more due to ordering champagne-based cocktails, but most drinks were around 1000 yen. The service was excellent, and the bar had a great atmosphere. I will definitely revisit when I come back to Hakodate. Thank you for the delicious drinks!

☆*:;;;:**:;;;:*☆*:;;;:**:;;;:*☆*:;;;:**:;;;:*☆*:;;;:**:;;;:*☆ Ordered a bottle of champagne. Disappointed to find a glass was chipped. I hope the bar at my favorite hotel will improve as well. **************************************************** This time, in August 2012, it was my 22nd trip to Hokkaido. I have traveled around Hokkaido by car 12 times, covering a coastal distance of 2,200 km. The scenery is best enjoyed by traveling clockwise. This time, I stayed for 9 nights and 10 days, visiting various places such as Hakodate, Matsumae, Esashi, Shakotan, Otaru, Rumoi, Wakkanai, Monbetsu, Utoro, Rausu, Shibetsu, Nemuro, Kushiro, Erimo, Tomakomai, Muroran, Oshamanbe, and Eshan before returning to Hakodate. The main focus of the trip was seafood, especially in the summer. I enjoyed delicacies such as fresh sea urchin in Shakotan, salt ramen in Hakodate, sushi in Otaru, and various types of crabs and seafood in different regions. **************************************************** ■■■ Sherries Bar, Le Vista Hakodate Bay Hotel 12F ■■■ The bar was quite popular with a good number of customers. I wanted a quiet atmosphere to enjoy my drink, so I hesitated to enter when there were many customers. However, during the Hakodate Port Festival, I decided to give it a try as I expected fewer visitors. It turned out to be quiet as I had hoped. I sat at a counter seat by the window, where I could enjoy a peaceful drink. Hakodate is a tourist city known for its night view from Mount Hakodate. The city makes an effort to illuminate the entire area at night to showcase the lights of the Bay area, ships, and buildings. Hotels in Hakodate used to light up all rooms facing the mountain, even if they were vacant, to promote the night view from Mount Hakodate. From the window, I could see the lights of the Bay area, the summit of Mount Hakodate, and the lights of cars climbing up the mountain. Now, what should I drink tonight? My usual choices, Brandy "Royal Household" or Brandy "Hennessy XO," were unfortunately not on the menu. So, I decided to order a bottle of champagne and enjoy the view. **************************************************** Window views, various lights, and a glass of champagne in hand... It's a delightful feeling to get tipsy on alcohol while gazing at the lights outside. 【Today's Menu】 Champagne Henriot Souverain (bottle) 13,000 yen + Craft Beer (small bottle) 800 yen + Pizza x2 1,200 yen + Cheese 500 yen = Total 16,700 yen 【Photos】 01: Example of the restaurant interior 02: Craft Beer (small bottle) 800 yen, View of Hakodate Bay and Mount Hakodate from the counter seat by the window 03-04: Champagne bottle Henriot Souverain
