I finally got to go after being curious for over a year. I had the mutton curry with lamb meat. It came with a small naan and a small portion of rice, which was nice because I could enjoy both. The lamb meat didn't have any unpleasant smell and was delicious. Most importantly, the curry was delicious and I would love to eat it again. The spiciness was just right, with a good amount of spices but not too hot. I could probably enjoy up to level 3 spiciness. The potatoes were also delicious. The staff was very kind and wonderful.

I went for lunch for the first time in a while. They no longer offer lunch sets, so you have to order items individually. I ordered the Indian-style vegetable curry for 900 yen and enzyme brown rice for 250 yen. They also had a weekday special on lassi, which was 200 yen cheaper when ordered with a meal. I thought I would get a small lassi, but it came in a big glass, thick and delicious. I really like this combination. The curry is not too salty, with lots of spices simmering in a small pot, and the enzyme brown rice is full of vegetables. My friend ordered the Japanese curry, katsu curry, for 1350 yen.

Ram's Ear. A stylish restaurant. It has a cafe-like atmosphere with relaxing music playing. Maybe Norah Jones? The interior is mainly made of wood and plants. It should be calming. Of course, I chose the lamb curry here. Good quality lamb meat. Tender and delicious. It's well cooked in a tomato-based curry. They also have spinach curry, white curry, and yellow curry. A wide variety and authentic taste. You can also change the rice to naan. Satisfying taste. Thank you for the meal.

I entered a cafe-style curry specialty shop with a unique appearance that was hard to imagine. The interior had a woody theme with good natural lighting coming in from large windows, offering a view of a bamboo grove outside. The shop's name comes from the gentle atmosphere of herbs and sheep, symbolizing a "loved and gentle shop." I ordered the Mori curry (1,000 yen), which is our original dish with sautéed onions and minced meat on top of rice, creating a semi-dry curry. It may look impressive, but when you taste it... There are several other original menu items available, making it a recommended spot for curry lovers.

I couldn't eat anything except curry during my morning sickness, so I decided to try this place. I had the eggplant curry, which had a hint of spices but tasted natural and refreshing. It seemed like it was made without any additives. The naan was soft and delicious. I shared the chicken with my husband, and it was juicy and tasty.

This is a curry restaurant located in the middle between Hakodate Station and Goryokaku. Originally, it was a popular Indian curry restaurant that the son of the previous owner took over and relocated. The restaurant has a garden and a cozy atmosphere with wooden interior and Hawaiian background music. The menu offers a wide variety of options including Indian curry, Japanese-style curry, and side dishes. I tried the Seekh Kebab for 600 yen, Mini Salad for 350 yen, and Morita Curry for 1,000 yen. You can choose the rice portion for free, with options of small (180g) or medium (250g), and also select the level of spiciness - I chose level 5 (extra spicy). The Mini Salad was surprisingly generous in size, with a delicious potato salad in the center. The Seekh Kebab was juicy and flavorful, probably made with a special garam masala blend. The Morita Curry, a signature dish passed down from the previous owner, had a unique Japanese-style spiciness with a balanced blend of bitterness, acidity, and heat. The minced meat coating the rice was complemented by a flavorful roux and interesting additions like green peas and olives. The service was excellent and I even bought a garam masala for takeout at 850 yen, which added a punch of flavor to my home-cooked dishes. Overall, a delicious and unique dining experience that makes me want to try their Indian curry as well.

I had mutton curry for lunch. It had a spiciness level of about 60 stages, and I had level 4. It was just the right amount of spiciness and the mutton was delicious. The naan was freshly baked, and it was nice to be able to chat with my friends leisurely. I want to go again (*´ω`*)

Located a 7-minute walk from Chiyodai Station on the Hakodate City Tram, behind the Ocean Stadium, a little south of Teo Department Store when coming from Goryokaku. This is an Indian curry restaurant + cafe with a cozy interior featuring warm wooden decor. The curry here is rich in spices, bubbling hot when served. There are various base pastes available, each with a unique umami flavor. I tried the cheese naan, which was delicate and delicious like high-end pizza, making me want to come back for more.

Recently in Hakodate, there is a curry specialty restaurant that is somewhat rare, not serving soup curry or Nepalese curry. It's always crowded during lunchtime. The curry has a strong punch of spices and is delicious. The photo shows katsu curry and I believe mutton curry.
