It was extremely crowded during lunchtime, so I had to sign up on the waiting list and wait in my car for about 20 minutes. I was called in quickly and ordered the Vegetable Ramen Shoyu, which arrived promptly. I accidentally ordered the Shoyu instead of the Miso Vegetable Ramen. Despite being Shoyu, it had a strong garlic flavor! In my opinion, the staff should recommend Shoyu over Miso. I personally prefer Shoyu over Miso.

I visited the Horyu Bekkan store after a long time! It is one of my favorite Horyu Shitennou (four heavenly kings). I think you can't go wrong with any of these four stores in Tokachi (in my opinion). After looking at the menu, I decided to order the soy sauce ramen for 850 yen. The miso and salt ramen are also the same price. It took about 10 minutes for the ramen to be ready. The appearance is similar to miso ramen. Let's dig in. Mmm, it's the consistent taste of Horyu. Delicious! However, it's quite salty this time. Maybe I've become more sensitive to it (^^). But it still has that unmistakable deliciousness, that unique taste of Horyu... it really brings back memories. There were mainly four female staff members, and maybe one male part-time worker...? The staff, especially the hostess, did a great job. It was my first visit in a long time, and I noticed that the price has gone up, but it's reflected in the quality. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today I had work in Urashoro. It's been raining since morning and it's really cold (^^; I didn't go outside, but everyone got soaked, so we stopped work early and went to eat something warm, visiting Horyu Makubetsu store for probably the 20th or 30th time (^-^)/ Location is along Route 38. Next to Kani no Takara. 3:50 PM. No customers before or after. The interior is small with 10 counter seats and 3 tables for 6 people each. I ordered Chashu Ramen (shoulder loin) soy sauce for 980 yen (tax included) and a Mini Chashu Donburi for 300 yen (tax included)✨ The soup is a double soup of pork bone and seafood. The soy sauce ramen has a color close to miso (^-^)/ It's quite rich for me, with plenty of garlic. It has a good depth of flavor with a strong seafood taste✨ Horyu is always reliable \(^^)/ The chashu (shoulder loin) is well cooked, flavorful, and tender⤴️ The mini chashu donburi has rice cooked with chashu sauce and is delicious✨ I also love cooking, and sometimes make chashu donburi with a similar sauce ( *´艸`) Next time, I'll come to try the miso ramen⤴️ Warmed up⤴️ Thank you for the mealm(__)m

I went to the Horyu Makubetsu branch! It's been a while since I last visited. I remember coming here quite often in the past. It's a very busy place and quite famous. I just made it in before they closed for the afternoon. Oh? They used to be open all day, but it seems they've changed that now. I'll have the soy sauce ramen for 780 yen. Prices have gone up, huh? There were only female staff members, a team of 5, working. They seemed to be working well together. After a 10-minute wait, the ramen arrived. It tasted great, with that familiar Horyu flavor. The slightly salty broth is addictive. The hint of garlic is nice. The bean sprouts and onions were delicious as always. The medium-thick curly noodles had a good chew to them. They paired well with the soup. I did notice that the staff didn't seem very energetic. Maybe they were just tired from being so busy? Overall, it was a good meal at Horyu Makubetsu branch. I visited this Takararyu restaurant in Makubetsu, located along Route 38, because I was craving some hot ramen. I always choose the lean thigh meat for the Chashu noodles here, but I'm curious about the shoulder meat for next time (lol). The thigh meat Chashu here is very tender! I love how thick the slices are! The noodles are cooked slightly firm and are served with crunchy bean sprouts. I enjoyed every bite without getting tired of it until the end! It was really delicious. Thank you.

I went to Takararyu along National Route 38 in Makuwari Town. It's always busy, and when your turn comes, they even come to call you to your car. I ordered my favorite iron pot five-ingredient miso ramen. The ingredients include squid, shrimp, fish paste, several kinds of vegetables, menma, etc., and it comes out in an iron pot, so you eat it by placing it on a pot holder. It tastes even more delicious than eating it in a ramen bowl.

Makarike Town is a ramen restaurant of the Horyu chain located along Route 38. The exterior looks modest and small, but once you enter, you will feel the lively atmosphere with the male owner and four female staff members. The counter seats surround the kitchen, and there is a spacious raised seating area instead of regular tables. Looking at the menu, they offer iron pot dishes. Since it was my first time seeing iron pot ramen at the Horyu chain, I ordered the "Iron Pot Gomoku Miso Ramen for 930 yen". A pot holder was placed on the table, and after a short wait, the ramen arrived. The sight of the bright red simmered shrimp caught my eye first, followed by skewered squid and whelk, which made a strong impression. The soup was smooth yet thick and flavorful. The slightly soft curly noodles were truly Horyu style. The chashu was firm but tender, the shinchiku was easy to eat, and there were plenty of vegetables. I especially enjoyed the skewered squid and whelk. The "Cheese Gyoza for 450 yen" was delicious with plenty of cheese. I felt like having a beer! This is not your average Horyu ramen place! Thank you for the meal!

I often see ads for this local restaurant in the local newspaper, and I was curious about it. I couldn't go all the way to Makubetsu just for ramen, but I stopped by on my way back from a photography drive with my camera today. Even though it's a weekday, customers keep coming in. It seems like there are many regulars here. I tried the shoyu ramen with roast pork. The pork was tender and melted in my mouth. The broth was light but had a subtle umami flavor that I really enjoyed. Since it's located along the national highway, they also have lunch sets with rice for those who want a hearty meal.

I visited Takararyu after a long time. It was just an average ramen, nothing particularly stood out. Parking: There is a spacious parking lot. Taste: I ordered the spicy miso ramen and asked for it to be extra spicy. However, they said they couldn't adjust the spiciness and suggested making the soup more flavorful instead. I agreed to that. The noodles were Takararyu's signature yellow noodles. Overall impression: It was not particularly delicious, just a regular ramen.

When I visited Hokkaido for a homecoming, I stopped by this restaurant for lunch. Hokkaido has several chain stores of "Horyu," and the content may vary depending on the store. I personally think the Makubetsu store is the most delicious. It had been a while since my last visit. When it comes to Hokkaido, miso ramen is a must! The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles, which brought back nostalgic memories. I usually eat only somen-like noodles, so ramen like this is the best! The miso flavor was just right, not too strong. I finished it in no time, savoring the nostalgic taste. When I go back to Hokkaido, it's definitely Horyu's ramen for me!
