Is it okay for a pancake to cost 800 yen?! It's so delicious that it's on another level... Fluffy, not too sweet, and light, I would definitely keep coming back if it were closer to my place! The owner, who is also the manager, friendly talked to me and before I knew it, we were chatting for 2 hours haha. The atmosphere was cozy and I had a really enjoyable time ☺️

This used to be a shop in front of Kutchan Station. The shop has moved because it became a crepe shop, so I googled it and visited here. It is located on the premises of MaxValu in Kutchan. It's on the second floor of a building with a beauty salon. I had the Berry Marshmallow Pancakes. It was a cold day, so there was white steam inside the shop haha. It was delicious! The pancakes were soft and fluffy. The berry sauce had few fruits, but as you kept eating, the ice cream and whipped cream mixed in nicely.

The calm interior with a small number of seats and friendly owner who provides attentive service. Olive yogurt pancake for ¥600 is surprisingly large and delicious! The thin batter is chewy with a subtle sweetness that is comforting. Toppings include whipped butter, maple syrup, and honey. The butter is not too salty, giving a mellow taste. We also tried the fried potatoes as a service! They are sprinkled with coarse salt, hot and delicious! We enjoyed them sweet and salty with honey drizzled on top.

This shop moved into the former karaoke shop's location. While there are many pancake shops, it's rare to find one specializing in hotcakes. The interior of the shop has kept the karaoke theme, which is interesting. I tried the plain and chocolate banana hotcakes. They were bigger than I expected! And so fluffy!! Different from making them at home! The chocolate banana one even had vanilla ice cream on top. Both had a simple, delicious taste. It seems like you can also get the chocolate banana hotcake to go, so I'll definitely try that next time!

Since it was located near the station street, we have visited a few times. Even though we only go about once a year in recent years, the staff always remembers us and talks to us. When we first visited the new location, it seemed to be in the spot of a karaoke store, so we were unsure where to go (haha). Despite this, we found the time to make the 2.5-hour journey to visit.
