Welcome! I went to a popular area in downtown Iwamizawa, where young people gather along the road, near places like Kushitori and Tsubo Hachi. I ended up at a place called "Nikuyaki" thinking it was a grilled izakaya, but it turned out to be a meat grill restaurant. It has tables on the second floor and a few private rooms in the back. The menu offers a variety of meat, including hormone, at very affordable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff seems friendly and not too formal. The food was delicious, especially the grilled thick beef tongue with rock salt, the pork loin with green onion salt, and the juicy chicken neck meat. The bibimbap with meat and a soft-boiled egg on top was also a great deal. The octopus tempura was crispy and flavorful, perfect as a side dish with drinks. As the night went on, more families started coming in, but the overall environment was still lively and enjoyable. Thank you for the great meal!

On the night of April 19, 2014, I was craving for some beef, so I ended up having yakiniku for dinner. I went to a restaurant called "Aburiya GOEMON" in Iwamizawa. Initially, I tried to go to Ginzaen, but it was full. Oh well, maybe next time. Anyway, I started with a beer and then had beef tongue, premium kalbi, and harami. The premium kalbi was so tender and delicious, and the harami was also very tasty. The beef tongue was thickly sliced and my favorite! I also had some horumon, pork with miso and beef with salt sauce. The miso flavor was amazing, and the beef horumon was sizzling hot and full of flavor. As a finale, we shared a bowl of cold noodles with meat in it. The noodles were chewy and refreshing, perfect for cleansing the palate. The meat was thick and delicious, and the prices were reasonable. It's getting warmer, flowers are blooming, and it's the perfect season for yakiniku. Cheers to eating and drinking well this year! But let's keep it in moderation. Thank you for the meal.
